Hey, I currently have TWRP 3.0.0 and I want to flash a new rom , so for that I want to update my Bootloader and Modem first, will it cause problems to my TWRP recovery or bootloops? because I read TWRP 3.0.2 is compatible with the latest bootloader and modem.
Or should I flash in odin Bootloader in BL , Modem in CP, and Twrp 3.0.2 in AP all together?

I am currently on the CM 11 AOSP ROM, bootloader unlocked and everything, can I simply flash the d2vzw NE1 modem zip from here http://www.invisiblek.org/firmware/d2/ via TWRP? I won't have a locked bootloader right?
You will be fine just flashing the modem.
Hi, I've successfully installed Brazilian Stock ROM/Identity Crysis ROM (both Lollipop) on my XT1032 without any error using PhilzTouch 6.55 recovery, but everytime i try to install CM12/CM12-based ROM it will fail. Apparently because my bootloader is older than it should be. I've tried TWRP and it will fail too. Is there any recovery compatible with 41.05 BL? Or should i update it? I'd rather be able to downgrade to KK, so 41.13 will be ok, right? Also, how to update BL?
Regards
I believe the bootloader file is named motoboot.img and could be flashed using fastboot commands.
The motoboot file are included with stock firmware xml.zip files.

Hello hoglak
I have a 920I and was also having the same problem.
I solved the problem flashing the latest version of the rom from SamMobile site.
After flashing the rom your TWRP should work.

I just used the New Zealand firmware.
I am from Brazil and with the orginal rom the same thing happened, im flashed the generic one and worked.

I had the same problem. The latest firmware for unbranded (XSA) Australia on sammobile is AOC4. I had success with using the Singapore unbranded (XSP) firmware AOD1.
Flash AOD1 with Odin then you have stock everything. You should be able to flash TWRP 2.8.6.2 with Odin and boot successfully into Custom recovery.
You can either take two options from here.
Flash CF-Root and "just root" the stock ROM - Boot into Download (again) and then flash the CF Root.
Flash a ROM or a Mod which has Root included. - My first success was Wiping with stock recovery, flashing AOD1 clean with Odin, then flashing WanamMod on top of it as it included root.
Aussie G920i.
Hope this helps.

So how can I tell if I am using the "fixed" TWRP 2.8.7.0, which correctly flashes the modem?
Thanks.
Not at all. The 2.8.7.0 not flasht the modem.
Flash the custom TWRP version from this thread. I can confirm that it is able to successfully flash modems and firmware. I have done it a few times without any issues.
If you are having trouble downgrading, there is a materialized version that uses a different mode of flashing the recovery. Should bypass the errors
Here is the story.. flash the stock rom (920F/THL) 5.1 Then updated to (ota) MM but when i tried (many times) to flash TWRP via odin it says it passed (successful flashing) but it would not boot to twrp instead it boots to stock recovery. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated..

I have the same problem, except in my case I only tried once, since it went into boot loop and I had to re-flash MM. (Which fixed the problem)
Twrp currently doesn't work with MM on Galaxy S6. There's a older version of twrp from chainfire that works through quick boot app, but that's it. If You want to use the newest version(3.0) then You'll have to flash oldboot.zip and then go to recovery , do anything You want and then flash newboot.zip or just simply reflash the sboot file using odin.
