Has anyone has ANY success using android pay while rooted? Maybe with a custom ROM or specific SuperSU/suhide/root switch config I can't seem to pin down?
I'm currently trying (using Magisk) but not having any luck with getting pay to work or passing SafetyNet.
Running stock 6.0.1 rooted via Magisk/phh and arter97's latest kernel.

I'm interested in playing Pokemon GO again, and of course many months ago they ****ed thousands of Android users by blocking rooted devices. I hear Magisk works, but this (as far as I know) is not an option because we have a locked bootloader. But I also heard Suhide by Chainfire works. Is it possible to use Suhide on the Flex 2? Or Magisk for that matter?
Anyone know of a working method to root this phone?
I have a few on the AT&T network. I couldn't find a sub-forum here for this specific device.
I am also looking for pointers. Trying to edit my build.prop, but if I can get full on root and recovery, I'd be elated.
it's currently not possible to root xcover fieldpro since rom from this model are unvailable on public, even tools like friya can't download it. original rom are needed to make twrp or patch boot.img wirh magisk

I have the BL5 stock roms and combination files. Had to pay for them. Would love to share them with developers who can cook something up like the cool people did for my S8 Active with that SamFail V2 ROM or whatever. As it stands, even with flashing the combination file that has a passive state on the kernel, still can't get it running for user ways. It's set up for purely development. If you could get me the build number info, I'll try to track down your ROM for ya, found a bunch of them, but only downloaded my own bootloader version so that way, I didn't update bootloader and screw myself.
Only thing I can think of in my mind, is unzipping the ROM and putting in the SU files in all the proper places, zipping it back up, and then flashing it, but unsure if that would even work.
Has anything changed on root options for this device?
There's an XDA thread out for a paid service that was supposed good for up to certain versions of firmware on several Galaxy devices (up to early 2020 and earlier security patches I think).
The guy had listed an Xcover Pro as one of the successes of his patch, so I had hopes.
Since this FieldPro is not even a Snapdragon chipset, but an Exynos, I figured it was less restricted and someone might have heard of an exploit by now.
Hello,
I don't use M12, but I know that M12 is a device that is very similar to A21S. (the only difference is lack of some sensors+nfc, addition of 90hz display, and bigger battery)
Recently, I was able to successfully root A21s with some modification to the Magisk app, to bypass a problem in the kernel that tricked Magisk into causing boot loop. After this, I thought M12 might have similar problems, since it is pretty much the same phone as A21S.
When I looked at the kernel source and boot.img of M12, it seems that it has the exact same problems that prevented A21s from getting Magisk to work on stock ROMs.
This means that when M12's stock ROM is patched with Magisk, it can cause boot loop.
Since I don't have the device, I can't test anything. Is there anyone who had successfully rooted the device with Magisk? (I saw one thread that gave instructions for root, but there has been no report that it had succeeded or failed)
Already rooted 2 weeks back but yes method is different. i used MagiskManager-v7.5.1 App to patch boot.img and it does only half work but yes we need to add extra steps like how new magisk version does towards packing boot.img manually.
note - the thread which you mentioned towards rooting will never work i mean you already mentioned reason.

I have a M12 (SM-127G) and I rooted successfully following this link. Have a look at it.
Root Samsung Galaxy M12 Is It possible
Hi all I thought the Galaxy M12 was very popular because of its features, but I think I'm wrong as very few people open topics here. Anyway , something that is very sought after , is getting the administrator permission , or in other words ...

You should patch the entire AP, or else it'll have some problems.
