Hi
Guys I need your help.I wanted to upgrade from Stock kitkat 4.4 to Marshmallow.
I started with rooting via LG one click rooting. After rooting successfully I tried flashing TWRP recovery via TWRP manager but it didnt worked and instead of going into recovery it kept going in fastboot.
I tried flashing recovery via fastboot also but no use. Then I tried to unroot via LG Flash tool using download mode. But unfortunately It gave an error "[ERROR] Partition change error".Now I am not unable to get out of download mode.I tried deleting laf file and I came out of Download mode but now I am stuck in fastboot mode. Now if I try to flash anything or erase anything in fastboot it got stuck on erasing or writing. If I run 'fastboot devices' in fastboot it show "? fastboot".
Please help.I know I have messed up but any help would be appreciated. Please help me get my phone get back to life.

Hello,
I need help to recover my phone - Star s9500 after booting into factory mode and going to "Clear eMMC" (I know this was stupid of me but that is another story...). From MTKDroidTools, the phone hardware reads mt6582 and was running 4.2.2.
When the phone powers on, I only get the Android bootup animation and everything stops there.
I managed to install CWM using MTKDroidTools and even tried to flash the ROM using CWM after placing the zipped image on an sdcard. CWM simply aborts after attempting to read the zipped package.
For some reason MTKDroidTools does not show the IMEIs, but I can see the records when I power the phone into factory mode.
I tried to flash the rom using SP Flash tools as indicated in this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2458369, but I simply keep waiting with the indicator "EMMC searching" from the tool or the phone itself even after 10 minutes (see attached files).
I am attempting to flash with this rom - http://www.needrom.com/mobile/star-s9500-mt6582-fwvga/ .
I did read somewhere that I have to setup partition information stored in the eMMC for the flashing to be successful. The post on this is here: http://checkrom.com/threads/formatting-emmc-no-no-no.647/ , but I believe I can get this phone up and running again.
Various sources say that I only need to flash the rom. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Why am I unable to flash with SP Flashtools? What alternative flash tools can I try? For pictures please see attached.
I am also now getting a BROM Error from SP Flashtools saying Failed to open COM 8.(see attached)
Thank you in advance!

So I used Rumrunner to get S-off but for some reason I got into a boot loop. I searched the forums and it seemed if I flashed a rom it would help fix it. I flashed Magio rom but here my problem. I can get to twrp I can mount my phone as well and adb recognizes it when its mounted I can push files and can flash roms but I cant seem to get fastboot working to flash boot.img in the bootloader it says fastboot usb but when I do adb devices it only shoes list of devices attached

hey hey thanks for the reply, I fixed it, I just locked the bootloder after I flashed a rom and it was all good. but hey thanks for the reply man
There is some similiar threads about this, but I still haven't found solution to my problem. I also tried to post this same problem on general: (TF300TG)For All Your Jelly Bean discussions-problems, but I thought if this was better on troubleshooting.
I got problem with recovery/fastboot on tf300tg..
Background: I haven't root my tf300tg, I got 4.2.1 (10.6.2.11) and I have unlocked bootloader from Asus support and installed APX drivers to windows 7 which works with tf300tg. (even when it's not so needed?) Also I got USB debugging on.
Problem: When I press (Vol Down + Start) to get in bootloader and try to start RCK it gives me error ("Virhe" means error in finnish).

}
Second Problem: If I can't use recovery I could try to use fastboot. I downloaded ADB and tried to follow instructions but there is one problem with this. I can use fastboot only when my tf300tg is on normal mode. So I can't use fastboot in recovery or in bootloader mode. I'm not sure if I should use fastboot in normal mode (don't know if it's safe?) to install TWRP 2.6.0 (for tf300tg)
Normal mode:
APX mode/Bootloader mode:
EDIT: After 5 hours of finding, I found that reason was ADB version. Fixing this problem was download: minimal adb and fastboot program to windows.

Hi
After doing a hard reset on my phone, he fought on the screen with the logo of Motorola and will not start.
I've tried reinstalling the stock rom , but I could not because the mfastboot shows the following error ...

As your bootloader was locked i don't think them partitions can be flashed how ever you should be able to still flash the system sparse images as if you have done a hard reset on your phone the partitions your trying to flash wouldn't be effected anyway.
Just go into bootloader they and flash just the system sparse images then boot into recovery if you can and erase the cache.
The bootloader was never unlocked. The problem may be that I'm trying to install the ROM 4.4.4 first? Think if I try 4.3 or other older versions it stops to present such errors?
Did you update via OTA to 4.4.4 if so then you must use a 4.4.4 image. Bare in mind you'll need to use the Right CID numbered frimware.
Have you tried to flash the System partition i.e the system system.img_sparsechunk.0 - system.img_sparsechunk.3 , give that a go.
I tried to install the images of the system and it still fails.
I do not know what to do.
Good evening at all!
Sorry for the trouble but after long hours of research and attempts without solving the problem I thought to try to ask with a thread.
I'll explain what's my problem: I have a lg f70 d315 that no longer wants to start.
It has not been used for a long time and I can not tell you what was done to it last time.
The phone stays locked in the boot screen with the LG logo.
I tried to perform a factory reset from the stock recovery but the situation is not changed. (it stays stucked on "performing factory rest")
I tried to start the device in download mode pressing Vol UP while booting but instead of showing the download mode screen, the fastboot commands are shown (as in picture)

The bootloader is locked so I can not flash a modified recovery (which I find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/recovery-twrp-2-8-7-0-lg-f70-d315-t3278742) or flash the file laf.img necessary to access the download mode.
any attempt I do to flash shows these errors
Even when testing with "fastboot boot recovery.img" commands, the phone loads the TWRP recovery but remains locked in the twrp logo screen, without continuing or allowing other operations.
is the device unrecoverable?
Connecting it to the PC is only recognized when it is in fastboot, in all other cases (with mobile phone off, during startup) is not shown by windows.
Thank you very much for your help or just having read the post,
Enrico
