Hey guys. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I looked for a new member intro forum but found out that the forum is freaking huge. Lol my name is Eddie. I'm from Ohio. I am new here obviously lol

And sorry if this is a repost:

lol. The link he posted links back to xda.
ROFLMAO.
The thread originated on this forum. Why post to an external link that posts back to XDA?!
It is the same as making a thread on the forum that says "Hey have you seen this other thread..." and linking to a thread within the same forum!
hahaha!
Wow. Didn't know you guys were so sensitive. I just saw it on Google and thought I would share since I hadn't seen it on here.
lol indeed.
Yo' Dawg... I heard you like XDA. So I posted a link on XDA that points to another site that points back to XDA so you can XDA while you XDA...
Cool story, bro
Give the guy a break. Was a simple mistake in the general subforum. No big deal.

I get it... you are saying you circle jerk because you post a link that links back to the same forum, thus creating a circle.
Just making an observation. There is a dedicated Q&A forum and those question threads never get moved.

Not true.
Half of the time I post something not a question, it gets moved there.
Yes Xda has defines the category where to put the questions according to the category of questions or you can ask Xda by sending them an email.

Corrected. But it's true. It's mostly composed of which phone to buy threads.

I agree with you halfway. Certain mods have trouble distinguishing between an actual question and a statement meant to spark conversation of debate. Too many posts get moved to the Q&A section that don't have a definitive answer. Just because a post has a question mark in it does not mean it belongs in Q&A. Posts about phones get moved to Off-Topic when the description of Off-Topic says "anything not about the phones". It is a broken system.

A lot of mod move good threads for no reason and keep pointless ones that could be answered in one reply.

+1. I've posted a lot of good discussion worthy topics that relate to ALL phones that just get moved to android general.

Thanks you noticed, it seems new members do not care about reading the rules and posting in the right section.
For us, just a bunch of Mods, compared with the more than 4 million members is almost impossible to do our work without members help.
Hope this thread helps members to make a bit of conscience before posting.
Thanks,

Dev forum is NOT for you to make questions about things you didn't search for. Keep your questions in Q&A. Moved to Q&A
Cheers

Second time I've had to interfere with this thread. Consider this a warning. If I have to interfere again I will lock and start handing out infractions. Remember it is your job (as someone that wants/needs something to search using Google or XDA search. Search isn't perfect but from endless amount of post/threads it seriously lowers the amount of pages you need to read. THAT leads me to the second point not only do you NEED to search you HAVE read. As a community it is ALL our responsibility to help out when ever we can. That goes from answering questions or pointing to the right direction or as simply as hitting the report button. Thread has been cleaned.
Cheers
Hey there! I just wanted to know what 'mini tablet' (3-5") y'all think is best? I was thinking the 'Samsung Galaxy Player'.
btw - NEVER EVER BUY FROM CHINAVASION!!!!!
p.s. If you think you saw this post in Q&A, you're right but I thought about it and I think this the right place for it sorry!

Let's wait for this thread to be either closed or moved as you, quite clearly, thought wrong.
Sorry - but it is a question, so it belongs in Q&A by the very definition of the word "Question"
And also, never double-post please. If in doubt then have a decent read of the XDA rules.
LOL when you say it that way now I feel like a dork lol sorry XDA

This community is awesome and using the search function will give you all answers. Like I never needed to ask anything, because it was asked before
