It would be quite nice if you could provide some more information about your problem (if you want to fix it of course). What I mean is, you did not provide what phone it was (for example, Samsung Galaxy S7) or what you have done to attempt to fix it. Also, how'd you root?

For now every site with samsung firmware statuses are not showing any update Besides, even if we receive android 4.2 update it is still very poor update. No revolution or even evolution since 4.1 which we have now.
There is no update 4.2 update for GALAXY Core (According to SamMobile Firmwares) unless you prove it...

@darwin25 is this a custom bootloader? I prefer fastboot over download mode.
It will be help full if we got android 4.4 (officially ) and one want to downgrade it to 4.1.2 jelly bean . Then flashing ordinary pda file will bootloop the device , but by flashing the above files will install jb .
(It happend to me when I was s advance user and wanted to downgrade to gingerbread )

"The bootloader configures the device to an initial known state and has a means to select where to start executing the kernel" (wiki) If you have a locked bootloader you cannot flash kernels or Roms. There are those which can be unlocked, a procedure that erases device sd and data, and the other kind(that should be wiped out) protected by keys. Considering unlocked bootloaders, there are versions, considering 4.2.2./4.3/4.4.2 that are incompatible with certain code.First you unlock bootloader, install recovery, root, flash what you want, there you go. Sorry for bad english.
So how to unlock bootloader then?

Yes you can.
1) [Requires XPOSED] RootCloak : Available at play store. XDA link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-rootcloak-completely-hide-root-t2574647
2)OTA Root Keeper : Available on play store. [ No 4.3 support ]

U can install it as normal apk file and yes it requires root access.
Install it and open the app.
You will be prompted to install its drivers. Choose desired one and restart ur phone.
Now open the app again and enable master power and make changes as you want
If anything goes wrong, first uninstall the drivers using viper4android and then uninstall the app.

Choose 'CortexAx with Neon' driver.. it works for our galaxy core.

Help?
Hey guys! I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 here...
I'm just wondering, will this work for me or will it brick (break) my phone? I'm kind of scared to reboot because I once tried a mod previously and I was left with a Samsung Galaxy Brick 4... anyone confirm this is safe for me to use? See the screenshot of my phone details, thanks guys for the help!
Yes its safe because even if you would have a problem (with a very, very low chance of happening) like no sound at all, it wouldn't brick the device like what you previously did. It just installs the Viper Sound Effects Driver and thats about it. It works on all android phones/tablets that are rooted.

What is the newest firmware for Gear 2?

Hi
I have the Gear 2, but haven't used it for 3-4 months or so. I have it modded with Tizenmod (no idea if 2.0 or 3.0, how can I check that btw?) and using it on my Xperia Z3, so can't just for updates either.
Thanks in advance
