Updating problem

Hi
my phone was rooted a month ago. i really wasn't cool with it, so i flashed the stock recovery and turned the phone into relocked state.
now i wanna install the update my phone received. but when i press install, it goes to fastboot screen with title of "security update" and nothing happens.
What should i do ?

hello, i have same issue, i had rooted my device (i have no option because i have to fix my frequency network error by selecting "USA BAND"),..
I got notification that "available software update: 2.33.707.6, so i download it, but when im installing with TWRP, the result is failed,. Maybe anyone have clue or solution?

You must unroot your phone an install stock recovery to update an ota or you instal a ruu and update

thanks for reply. how do i get the exact stock recovery for my phone ? cause i searched for it and couldn't a compatible stock recovery.

Search a Ota zip with your Rom version the recovery file is in this ota ...extract the ota.zip in it is a firmware.zip extract this zip too and you find recovery.img

When you have a mec_ul_emea single sim with one of this cid s htc_001, htc_j15,htc_a07 or htc_102 you can use it

hi. i finally found a compatible recovery img. but i have another problem. as i mentioned before, i locked bootloader myself again right after flashing a stock rom (which i guess wasn't compatible with my phone). now when i try to flash the stock rom, it says i have to unlock bootloader. when i try too unlock it and press the final button, it goes to a page with title of "entering recovery" and i get stock there forever. so i just get my phone restart and come back to life. do u have any idea why it stocks there ? how to solve it ?

ok guys ... now i faced a very bad problem
i flashed the recovery file. everything was good. then i tried updating software from "about phone" section. update was going well. then phone tried to boot... now it's frozen at htc logo screen.... what should i do ?
no one is awake right now ? seriously ?

Flash a clean twrp backup install a clean twrp backup of your Rom wipe after install dalvic and cache and then install the stock recovery must the same recovery as your Rom and update

Marshmallow Themes

I updated to marshmallow and themes don't work
When I put themes in hwthemes folder and install it from themes app they don't change any thing
By the way I used these themes before on kk and lollipop and they worked
Can any one help ?

I am using marshmallow and themes work just fine. I know this is not of great help to you but at least you'll know it's probably not a ROM issue.

I had twrp but now i have stock recovery with no root
I wanna flash twrp again but fastboot keep telling me command failed
I dont know what is the ptoblem

What happend?
I tried to relock but failed
I tried unlock again but it sayes phone already unlocked
How can i fix this weard problem?

You dont have to post in every Thread dude. We allready now your Problem and search for Solutions. Dont panic. I know its hard if something not working but keep cool

And yea i can see the ugly boot worning that my phone is not trusted

No i did not try this i am already unlocked bootloader

Download the tool, start it and choose the unbrick option and follow the instructions. U don't have to pay for it.

Yes it work with L29, have tried it myself. I don't know, if it will solve the problem. Try it.

fastboot cant flash img files
same problem
and tried to unlock bootloader it sayes alreasy unlockd
tried to relock
i tried relock failed too
it sayes
failed remote root tybe is risk
really dont know what is the problem

the weard thing that i was managed to flash twrp with flasher apk when i had root
but fastboot flash twrp not working

If you use this root method you can upgrade to supersu v2.67 beta. I do it and work good. Don't update to v2.65 stable. It's don't work for me

for those getting the "remote: command not allowed" error :I repacked a new "UPDATE.APP" using Huawei update extractor which contained only twrp named as "RECOVERY.IMG" and when i applied the update it went straight into twrp P.S this is a LIVE BOOT and DOES NOT install TWRP it simply allows you to use it... this bypasses the need to re-flash stock and therefore allows you to install OTA updates without a problem.

until you modify /system (which pretty much every root tool or modification requires, adaway check, xposed, check, buildprop check)

SM-G920P Not detected by PC In Odin

So I've searched the forums and nobody has the same issue as me with the G920P.
Yesterday I tried to install TWRP on my phone, it was stock and rooted.
I flashed TWRP through the TWRP manager from the app store. I restarted my phone and now it says "Recovery Mode Not SEAndroid Enforcing" and will no longer go past the Samsung Galaxy S6 Splash. I can only boot into Download mode but neither Odin nor my computer cannot detect my phone. I have used Odin in the past so that's no issue, I've tried this on multiple computers.
I boot into Download mode and this is what it says in the top left corner.

CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
FAP LOCK: OFF

Have already done this, sadly. Pretty sure it's Soft-Bricked...

Or i have an better idea to restore your phone.
Install "samsung smart switch" on your PC
And go to initialise and update software. Than put in your model number and you IMEI. After that you'll be able to restore your phone.

Nope. It was on a sticker on the back, but that's been gone for a long time. I've tried every number on the sticker on the bottom of its box, nothing worked, Volume down, home & power button to the MEID screen and that even didn't work.

But by my phone it's printed in the glass

I have FCC ID & DEC on the back, no imei/sn and I've looked everywhere on the phone

Tried many of the ports on my computer, ports of another computer, different usb cables and different Odin versions. I mean my phone is only soft-bricked as far as I know, so why is this so difficult to fix...

RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING in bright red, and recovery is unreachable.
