This is like the 4th time i'm tryin to install a a rom and just can't seem to get it right. Really need help guys!
I have. Had this problem for a good while before i relize my error u must unmount system then format all data follow the threds
Sent from my SGH-T839 using XDA App
I did unmount the system... I made sure all my mounts looked like the thread posts and then tried to wipe the data. I actually wipe the datda last. Am I still missing a step?
no u wipe data first - Put zip file in your /sdcard
- Reboot into cwm recovery
- Wipe Data/Factory Reset DO THIS FIRST
- Wipe Cache Partition THEN THIS
(Optional but recommended to prevent any minor issues)-Wipe Dalvik Cache from advanced menu in CWM
*Now before you Flash, Only if you are on the orange CWM, (Not RED voodoo CWM from Bali) if on red CWM ignore the mounts/unmount part*
MAKE SURE YOUR MOUNTS LOOK LIKE THIS: (Go to mounts and storage from CWM recovery)
UNMOUNT CACHE
MOUNT DATA
MOUNT SDCARD
UNMOUNT SYSTEM - this is the ONLY mount U SHOULD WORRY ABOUT
okay gonna try one more time tonight... had to odin so i'll keep you posted. And thanks for your help!
okay just to clarify, these are the steps i have taken so far.
1. used you tube link. how to root sidekick 4g + CWM all in one. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYC8XRqM-no)
2. Got CWM off the market and flashed CWM recovery.
3. Reboot into recovery. (Orange CWM)
4. Click the wipe data/factory reset.
And then that's when I get the screen promt I gave in begining post. When you say i have to format data. Do you mean go under mounts and storage and click format/data? And again I really apreciate your helpon this one. The SK 4g bugs are really getting to me...
i used super one click to root it then i used sduvick mod on link that n btw u got to have the krylon update n recovery files on the root of the sd card
---------- Post added at 10:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:44 PM ----------
n when ur in the orange cwm u go to wipe data/factory reset option n that should wipe it clean , then u wipe the cache n then you go to mounts and storage n unmount the system
so i have the update on the krylon thread. and i have android commander. when i tried topush the file over to the bin on the phone. it gave me a promt that phone must be rooted to access... but yea after goin into cwm and selecting the wipe data/factory reset. my phone just sits on that screen. i left it for an hour and nothing had changed. i'm really starting to get frustrated. thanks for all your help though. i gotta be missing something.
i would not used android commander if i were u
---------- Post added at 11:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:57 PM ----------
leave the update zip on the root of the sdcard n look in the krylon thread for n mod by sduvick
I'm actually gonna try and root the other way to get the red cwm. maybe i'll be able to fix the problem that way. thanks for all your help!
No problem

I flashed JaggyDzire v1.2 and its been more than 1 hour since i flashed the ROM. Its stuck on htc quietly brilliant logo (one with beats audio logo). I don't think it should take this much time??
Its based on sense4 build 4 by derefas no?..why is this happening that sense4 by derefas is working and jaggydzire is not? sense4 by derefas booted within 10 minutes and working flawlesly.
Flashed 2-3 times. First, Superwipe. Second, Wiped everything even reformatted the card. No method seems to work.
I am using TWRP Recovery v.2.2 and kingston 8gb class 4 sdhc card. I have an ext4 1gb partition with zero swap. Formatted and partitioned using TWRP.
Please help me...please...I need JaggyDzire on my device...:crying::crying::crying:
Re: JaggyDzire v1.2 : Stuck on htc quietly brilliant logo

Solution for 0 MB storage in TWRP
Hi Brothers!
It's my first time posting here , so if i make a mistake i am sorry in advance for that.
Solution for 0 MB storage in TWRP is very easy.
You need to boot your phone into TWRP.
In 2nd step you need to go to WIPE option .
Select Data and click on FS Options e.g. trying to change its partition format, most phones use Ext4.
Do same with the Data.
And TADA!!!!
Your problem is solved
I hope it helps you guys getting answer after a long time because i saw it late. Sorry for that.

Hi my YU Yuphoria 5010 started acting up since last week ,when i noticed that the phone was restarting randomly and the settings was missing and even if i clicked on the settings logo in the notification panel, nothing would happen .So i decided to flash a Cusstom ROM instead and boot into recovery. While trying to wipe cache, dalvik and data I got an error message "uable to mount data, cache ,system(invalid argument) and internal memory* was showing up as 0.So i thought my phone was bricked and tried reviving it with the sd card method. But everything else except for system flashed , and got an error FAILED (remote: flash write failure ) just for system .Anyway now I could boot into recovery using fastboot boot command and the internal memory started showing up correcty. The fastboot command is the only way i could get into recovery, if i try power+volume down it would just come up with the empty battery logo. After this i installed qualcomm drivers and manually changed the driver to Qualcomm HS-USB QD Loader 9008 and tried flashing through QFil with a flashable stock ROM and ended up with the error message:"Download Fail:System.Exception: Unable to download Flash Programmer using Sahara Protocol** at QC.QMSLPhone.Phone.QPHONEMS_SaharaArmPrgDownload(String sFileName)** at QC.SwDownloadDLL.SwDownload.QPHONEMSSaharaDownloadArmPrg(UInt64& version, String armPrgPath)
Download Fail:Sahara FailSahara Fail".
But after going through some of the posts I found that my phone might not be bricked in the first place. My device just shows up as 'Android' under Other devices in Device Manager.
The following are the details from device manager.
Device type: Other devices
Manufacturer: Unknown
Location Port_#002.Hub_#003
Problem code : 0000001C
Physical Device Object name: \Device\USBPDO-6
Hardware IDS: USB\VID_2A96&PID_300A&REV_0100

I also tried to restore through TWRP recovery using the back up my brother created on his YU 5010A to no success.Changing the file system type and back to ext4 also didnt help. I use a Windows 10 64bit Laptop.
What could I possibly do to revive my phone?Kindly help.

open TWRP recovery.Go to wipe section and select advanced wipe option here .Now select data and cache from check boxes.then click on change partition format.Select ext4fs .Wipe it then wait for sometime because sometimes it takes approximately 15-20 mins so be patient .It will successfully wipe and then you can see that everything is up to the mark !

Flash stock ROM using fastboot
For yu5010a you got fastboot package
Open flash all.bat
Just remove device code
02x1ebf or anything I don't remember what it was.
Remove it from all lines
Save flash all.bat
Run it

If any one got error in mounting using twrp
Just follow steps
Goto wipe -> advance wipe-> format data->
Type yes
Wait for process completion
Now reboot twrp to recovery
You see everything is mounted successfully.
Note :- with this step you format everything from your phone so don't reboot to system
Now connect phone with pc and copy any downloaded custom ROM in external SD
Flash it
Enjoy
