Rooting problem.

Hello guys.
I have the model: GT-N8010... Wi fi only.
And i followed this tutorial to root my device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239185
Everything works just fine, just till the end of the tutorial, i ran into a problem.
When i have to hold the volume key and power button, i get a different screen than the one that is displayed in the tutorial video.

So the problem is, i cant go to the left icon showed in the video. Because my screen is displaying something different.
What can i do?

Its says vol up continue .
That is how download mode should be .

Download mode works.
But i need the install thingy.

I need to install Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_10.1_root

I got Android version 4.0.4
Pretty sure the problem that i am having is because of a newer version.
So can i complete the method? Or would i have to look for a different tutorial?

So why are you using a tutorial for the Samsung Galaxy TAB 10.1 when you have the Samsung Galaxy NOTE 10.1?
There will be some differences when you are using a tutorial for a different device...
Hope you double check which rom you are going to install, if you are going to, as you will come up against a brick wall if you try to flash a firmware for a different device...

They do. But can also make a flashable zip for it too. I used to make splash screens back in the day with Samsung phones. Idk if I can with LG. But I will try and see if it works.

OP can you add "power by android" On these two pictures? I want to make them for splash screens

I'm having some issues trying to do this as bootsplash. I have the kernel decompiled with Android Kitchen, converted that picture as RLE format, paste it on the kernel and replaced with orignal, compiled, flashed and I get fastboot message and it wont boot. Maybe because of the resolution of that picture??
I'm kinda busy and doing it on the little free time I have. If somebody wanna join me and help that would be wonder...

HELLO
My names Biggary, and I have been a member here for nearly eight years, so I thought I would give something back.....Some splash screens (The Picture that comes up when you boot up phone), To use these, you need to be S-OFF, and to be using a HTC One M8, to use, place the zip file in your internal/external SD card, boot into recovery (TWRP is what I use), and flash the zip file, when flashed, whenever you boot up next, the new screen will come up!!
SIMPLE EH?
Please note, the tool I use to create the splash screens, was not made by me.
Flashing these zip files is at your own risk, brick your phone, thats not my problem!!! Always back up!!!!

It would be awesome if someone could make a flashable zip from these splash screens. Or could atleast 'format' the pictures into the right format so they can be flashed. If you flash these two they get cut off as usual with fullscreen splash screens.

Which device you use? I have both white and black s8 splash screen working fine on nougat based roms for note 5

Im using an S7 Edge with Nougat. If i flash these splash screens they get cut off in a weird way, i had that problem already with other splash screens in the past. Or maybe i am doing something completely wrong. Would you mind telling me how you flash yours as it seems to work for you?

I have flashed custom bootlogo by arter97 in samsung galaxy note 5 themes and apps section but its strictly made for exynos7420 devices i.e. note 5 or s6edge plus so i think it might not work on your device with different hardware as well as software configuration so better to search for the same in s7 edge themes and apps..

What did you done
Just say what did you do and what wanted to do

I cant flash recovery coz the word checking.. is not in the downloading of the screenshot so i cant flash twrp is there any tool or process to let show checking.. in the downloading screenshot?
