My phone just died. Very disappointed with LG.
Luckily I have my good old Note 3.

I have had data available on 4g yet ultra slow download speeds. Phone switches to 3g and it was faster than 4g until I called tech and the reset me on the network. It has been good since.
The other random problems are being connected to service but browser does not respond to touch. Have had to reboot twice for that.
Touch tones on speaker phone are not correct so my pins enter improperly.
Love the phone otherwise.
Should I go grab a new one while I can?

Yes. Mine works perfectly
Taking mine in tomorrow to swap. Hope to get a developers edition but will not sweat it if I can't.
Started doing slow download deal again and when trying to send contact card, force closes.

Here is what I am getting on 3g the higher numbers, and 4g, the one lower number(tough to get it to even connect on 4g).
If it wasn't for having my tonsils cut out yesterday I would have taken it back today. I have two days left to get a new unit.
Looks like my epic connection is not allowing me to attach the speed tests.
3g is 1.48mbps down avg
4g is .11mbps down the only time it would connect.

How would you exchange for that? You pay full retail or have they began subsidizing developer editions

They just swapped for another consumer edition and go figure, still having the same problem with data. Tech support said go get another phone. Has to be the network though.

One of the tier 2 guys did something to fix my phone, just not sure what. The new phone runs cooler than the first one as well so back to happy camping.
Due to a tonsillectomy I cannot set up voice actions for most likely another week.

I don't even think verizon sells anything but the consumer editions. You have to get the developer editions from Motorola. Right?

Mine took all day. Once I got it home after work and put it on the charger, it went through a few boots and finished.

Right, it was 6 hrs for me too. Soon as it booted up, I'm like "WTF just happened"... I thought it wiped my device.

I also attempted for hours but it was ultimately just a wait until the provisioning delay on Sprint's end ended. Finally got activated
The same issue prevented reactivating old phone for the period. PIA

I work at Best Buy Mobile and Sprint has been having major problems the last few days with activations. Its all on their end.

Just mine from Radioshack and activation took a few minutes with Sprint.
Ya mine took a few hours.
Did anyone else notice it reboot and go into download mode for a minute?

Yup mine took forever. It was so annoying and then I had to set my screens up again as well.

It's not the quantity of development, it's the quality. And we have some fine developers. Good luck

Good bye! We won't miss ya!
Well development is dead for any phone that's a year old to current and the future. There clapping down on security with these devices and this is the price we pay . Only the nexus devices have tons of roms but pretty much the same roms with different features . There's also the fact that phones are that good nowadays that you don't really need to change alot. If i was you i would wait that lg g5 don't look that great to leave a note 5 for. Goodluck man ✌✌

I had the galaxy so 5 for a while. It had to say of roms but the phone was getting slow. So I upgraded to the LG g5. I was not happy with the g5 , it was glitchy and I'm imo cheap. And there is no development for the g5 BTW. So I traded it for the note 5 and I'm actually loving this phone. I do wish for more development on the note 5.
It's funny that you left an unlocked phone that has root and development for a phone that does not have any period. When you left because of lack of development.

Actually it jist got root so roms are iminent. Unlike the gs7 and i have tmobile now so better service

Title says it all. Does anyone know if this can be done? If so, what carriers and how do you go about doing it?

Nothing to do man. Just pop a sim inside. Mine been on T Mobile for a frw months
Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
Yes, it can definitely be done. However, it can't be done with free tools found on XDA.
Idoneapps.apk works like a charm
It can be done, as i have been using a Pakistani career sim on Sprint's Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
