Smoothness of Stock ROM with greatness of Substratum Themes

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also non-AOSP features for a better user experience ("Clear All" button in Recents) and I'm NOT going to add something other.
What is SUBSTRATUM?
A theme engine based on RRO. RRO (Runtime Resource Overlay) which was designed by google and its modded by our developers to include it into AOSP ROMs.In short,RRO is a Theme Engine replacement and it can do wonders!

I think @XMoDuLeSx would say if you can upload a screenshot of customization voice menu (if they're available). Because if this rom is only simple AOSP with optimization but without customization (for example statubar customization, nabber, etc) than we have to install exposed.

1. Nougat will NOT be released on Friday.
2. Nougat will most likely NOT have native Substratum support. Layers, yes. Substratum, no. It has to be built into it.
Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

This is exactly what i needed i wanted a pure stock rom with OMS support, the others doesn't have OMS. Please keep it pure as possible, thanks. If you do deviate from keeping it pure i would hugely appreciate if you made two separate roms, one pure with only OMS support the other wiith customization.

1. I am saying "if" it gets released, because there was strong rumors couple days ago that it can be released.
2. I know that it is not supported nativly thats why i am asking how long it will take. I am curious.

It's the same as any other LP ROM.
I didn't bother making some, I moved back on CM12. If someone is able to provide me with some screenshots I'd be grateful.

It's a rather fast rom. Battery seemed a bit better than CM. Didn't use it much. Still in alpha state.
Is it stable enough for daily use?
First Impressions
Good job!
The ROM can be used for everyday use even if it is in alpha!
There are no annoying bugs.
I have found some little issues:
- I cannot go to recovery from the reboot menu: the device reboots normally
- there are no traffics arrows in the wifi and data icons in the status bar
- sometimes the device seems freezed with low responsiveness

These issues need to be worked by the source. I already have them in the device tree, but they were seen as "not existing" in the framework base.

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system @Alberto97 added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. He added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area). I included also the "sweeties", which @fonz93 added to the rom. Alberto, is NOT going to add something other, neither does fonz, nor do I.
So lets keep the rom small, fast and pure :good:!

Thanks for this rom, been a long time since i've seen a AOSP ROM on many devices such as this.
Thanks for the ROM
I have a question ! Which kernel works with this ROM?
I have a problem with keys light always on
Agni kernel: PSN_pureCM_12+_ANYROM-AROMA-v4.4.4_I9305_OC is working with the rom. Think 4.4.5 should work also, although I haven't tried yet. I do not have the problem with key lights always on. They are working normal.
Edit: I have also the "problem" with key lights always on...haven't noticed it yet, sorry. Currently they are on as long as the screen is on...will see whether I can get it fixed in a next version.
For me it is always on
I hope the problem will be fixed with agni kernel
---------- Post added at 09:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:43 PM ----------
The problem is fixed with agni
Hello, this rom is perfect!!! The issue with the lights were fixed with agni but the phone gets VERY warm! Thanks for this rom!
EDIT: By the way.... Screen brightness does not lower even when lowering it yourself... Stays very bright.
my 3g mobile data is working but 2g mobile data not working.

great, finally something new ....
Good luck in your work
Very nice rodman. Many thanks for this rom. Is it samsung or smdk based?
You are welcome. :good: Its sammy based so angi kernel: PSN_pureCM_12+_ANYROM-AROMA-v4.4.x_I9305_OC should work.

Can't get 4.4.5 to work. Only 4.4.4
Its working for me flashed it on top of 4.4.4 kernel version.....
Ok, thanks. Also, can you try fixing the sensors in the next builds?
Yes sure, I will have a look at the bugs and try to fix them....
Is there any way to change thèmes with this ROM?
The ROM is very smooth BTW, but I miss a few tweaks and features (change the number of rows for icons, power off custom screen..).
Startup is quicker than AICP, I wonder why?
Good work!

Why so?
I have on my OPO COS13. 1.2 on primary and two nougat ROMs (ASOP, CM14) as secondaries.
Question is if this ROM build introduced the needed script changes to support multirom flashing and if kernel includes the kexec mod?

You are the best, this is the most stable release of 7.1.1 asop IMO keep up the good work !!!
Thanks for this Rom. Please add "hide clock in statusbar"
Having gapps flashed it doesn't boot. It stays at aoscp logo.
Thanks.
You could add "turn the flashlight on while screen is off by long pressing the power button", though.

Wipe system, data, cache/dalvik, flash rom, and gapps I used was open gapps 7.1.1, it took like 7 mins to boot so not too long of a wait for first boot
Anyone else experiencing trouble with night light? Neither sunset/sunrise nor setting it to custom schedule works for me.
Is video recording working?
Is this 7.1 or 7.1.1?
Google Assistant work?
I assume GAPS are not included based on a 372mb download...?

assistant you have to set up your self, you can either use a flash-able zip in recovery to add assistant or manually change your build prop. if you don't you will be using now on tap instead.

@sirhc how can I fix the android wear error that talks about reflashing as user or signed or unsigned/userdebug?
I tried editing my build prop and restarting, I know this error is happing to a lot of custom ROM devices and also some completely stock devices
