I went to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 and got the files needed for my device...
- sdk21
- arm64
I then flashed the sdk21 xposed using flashfire... it installed it and phone booted up no problem...
I then opened up xposed installer and it still says that xposed framework IS NOT INSTALLED...
Why? I flashed the zip using flashfire with no problems... why is xposed not showing as installed?
A few pictures...

Are you sure you flashed the right sdk version?
Remember SDK21 = Android 4.4
SDK22 = 5.0. 5.1
SDK23 = 6.0
Also try flashing from recovery using TWRP

Oh. On the thread it said sdk21 was for 5.0... let me try the sdk22 thus time.
Don't have a custom recovery... it took me a while to find out how to get root on the S5 and safestrap would never install for me... so no custom recovery on my S5.

SDK22 did not install Xposed either when I flashed it using FlashFire...
Flashfire said I could install/flash the zip and get Xposed on my S5... but IT'S NOT WORKING... I have no idea what to do next to get Xposed on my S5... any more help would be great...
Is there a way to ODIN flash Xposed onto my S5 (SM-G900V)..?

hey there everyone. I want to update to 4.4.3 but I am rooted, have custom recovery and have a custom kernel. I have a backup of device when I wasn't rooted (rooted after boot on cwmr) what do I need to do to upgrade to 4.4.3 now?

Restore stock kernel. Restore all other modifications to /system. Uninstall Xposed (after disabling any modules). Disable superuser. Let your phone download the update, then copy it out of /cache to the sdcard. Reboot to your custom recovery and flash the update. If it doesn't go smoothly, note and post the error listed...

I don't know how to restore stock kernel. I only changed 2 font files in the font folder (is adaway a part of modification to the /system ?) I don't have xposed. disable SuperSU how do I do that ? so I download the 4.4.3 file and I don't install just take out of /cache and put it into root of SD card ? then I just flash.

Hi,
I get a notification few weeks ago about new system update available but towards the end of downloading the update 4.4.3 ,I got an error message saying something system verified failed or something like that and I try again next day under System Updates and it said Your system is up to date. Its still stuck on 4.4.2. Attached is the screen shot of my phone.

You can't update a modified system
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Just install the latest cyanogenmod ROM. Although if you're using cm11 you should know official OTA won't work.

Well seems that it depends of the modifications. A friend bought a nexus 5 about 2 weeks ago. I rooted it and installed xposed with some modules (gravity box, etc). But I forget to told him to not update the phone by OTA. He did it yesterday for the 4.4.4 OTA. The update worked without any problem. (but he lost rootaccess & xposed, of course)
It's only a few times its worked with Xposed. I saw a post today that worked with Xposed but it shouldn't have done.
But with the exception of root and possibly Xposed , every other modification will prevent OTA

I think 4.4.4 is different because it's only 2.5MB and barely changes anything. 9/10 it won't work with modified system files.

To put it simply, no. This will put kit kat onto the phone, so it will overwrite lollipop.
For anyone wanting to root their xCover 3, KitKat or Lollipop (EXPERIMENTAL) please go over to my thread at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/4-4-4-5-1-1-6-0-1-samsung-xcover3-t3465132

Thank you for news. Will it work also on CID11? Is it natively rooted?
Thanks
It only works on cid 15 it is an aosp rom

I have it on mine. DON'T use lucky patcher on it lol it can revert your phone back to stock 14.1 if you aren't careful. other then that, its flawless
I have Simple Launcher 3 with a custom theme and icon pack for the best battery life. I call it the AMOLED Theme. Its so much better than 6.0.1. Also used Pico Open Gapps. Future Plans to make the entire system a dark/black theme

So, I realize this ROM is fairly new. But, is this ROM pretty stable then? Sounds like it is?
I have a SM-G900V rooted and unlocked bootloader, running BP1 baseband....can I flash CM14? If so, is everything functioning properly?
According to kapptin boxxi 2 posts above it is great
It should work fine to flash it using twrp remember to flash android 7.1 gapps at same time as the cm 14.1 rom

Thanks. Worked for me. Although, I didn't flash the SR SuperSU and didn't wipe dalvik nor cache as that didn't work for me. Just flashed magisk and was rooted through the magisk manager.
