Here is a quick guide to update Mi 4i to the latest MIUI 8 Global beta from a custom ROM.

This was tested on Mi 4i running CM 13 UNOFFICIAL Custom ROM. It should work fine with other custom ROMs too.

VoLTE is not available in Mi4i. Although SD615 supports VoLTE, however, the it needs to be enabled in the firmware. Only Xiaomi can provide the updated firmware to enable VoLTE.

It is supposed to work with the VoEnabler Magisk module. I cannot confirm since my provider doesn't support volte.

I am with Vodafone and the both working by default for me. But it works for me as my provider has VO profiles and I ticked both.
