[GAME] Scan Most Bluetooth Devices 1.5.2

Hello Guys,
Today I want to present you my first developed game for Android and I want to say hello to this really nice community.
I want to tell you how it operates.
At first it checks that Bluetooth is available.
Then it reads the user data of the found devices.
Then the discovery process starts and it searches for devices.
When it finds one, it will be added to the list of founded devices, so that it will not beeing marked as a new device when finding it again.
Then the data will be uploaded to the central ranking server and the script will return the current ranking of your device and the number of devices, that have a rank.
There is also a level system. You have to find a set number of devices to get into the new level. This number is shown just the same as the number of devices you have found.
With the achievement system you can unlock game features and with the settings you can personalize your game.
The scoreboard shows the complete rankings, also with a nice addition, that every user that was active in the last 5 minutes will be marked as 'Searching' (Needs an achievement to see).

I still want a program that will connect to Bluetooth devices and send them up to 130 characters I think it was, like I had for my HTC Tilt. Never worked on the Tilt 2, never seen anything like it for the Nexus. Was fun to walk around in crowded places and send stuff to strangers.

This app is funny, just miss 2 things (or I didn't find them ^^)
1. Telling user the name of the access point, not only the MAC address (as you said, there's some funny ones )
2. Knowing who's next to me I know I'm 4th, but I don't know who's 3rd, nor who's 5th. I even didn't put my nickname in it, how am I suppose to go in front of my friends and say "Hey, look at that, Khoral's 1st. BLUETOOTH HEADSHOT ! MAC ADDRESS MONSTER KILL !". You know what I mean

Maybee there is a way too use this information for good?

jup i sometimes am surprised by how many people let their phone running bt .
i live in berlin to.. you have to try it out for example in the o2 arena.. ( op knows waht i mean) you are going to rank up pretty fast

Would it be ok, if the name you use as Bluetooth name will be used for the scoreboard ?

It is surely a bit difficult to show the name immediately after a device was found, because the names will only be researched after a finished Scan. So I have to cancel the Scan after a new device was found, research the name of the device, show a toast with the name and then start the scan again to find a new device.
But I'm sure, that I will make it. ^^

The game sounds interesting! Had to go and turn my other BT devices just for this .
Was wondering.. if it doesn't already, can you make it run on the backround? So I wouldn't have to be manually turning it on every time I want it to register devices. I guess it's not the point of this game, but I'd just be interested in how many BT devices I run into on my way to work and back.

hmmm does it upload the information about the device, location, where it is? etc etc to ur website?

Hi,
I just wanted to point out that the problem I have with tip calculators is that the total amount/bill split don't include the tax. You usually tip (or how I was taught) based on the amount pre-tax. It'd be pretty sweet if you could somehow configure that (so on one screen, maybe do like pre-tax amount -> tip and then on another screen the total bill + tip = total amount / how many people? I don't even know if that would be plausible...not a designer obviously but that's how I would see it). Then again, maybe it's just me. But until I can see a app that does do this, it's alright for me to use just to find out how much my group should be tipping.

How to use GeoTask? Read below for some simple instructions:
GeoTask allows you to associate an activity to a place, and moreover, if the place is used often, you can save it for future use.
When you open the app you will find 5 buttons with icons:
- Add new task: tap it to insert a new task to be carried out, in which you specify a name, a description, an expiration date, the place where you have to carry it out (selectable from the map or from a saved location) and the radius of alert (in meters), choosing from the preset values (if you want better accuracy you must also use the GPS positioning);
- Show saved tasks: Displays saved tasks in the app, nearby ones, expired ones, completed ones and also allows you to edit and delete them;
- Insert new place: tap it to insert a new place to do activities, you must enter a name, a description, and select a location from the map;
- Show saved places: Displays the saved places in the app and allows you to edit and delete them;
- Enable notification: tap it to activate GeoTask notifications, and from that moment on, GeoTask will alert you for your to-do tasks! You can disable it at any time if you do not want to be disturbed by simply touching it again.

Would it be possible to include a method to determine the position based on the antennas (don't know how to explain it better in english), just like llama does it? (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kebab.Llama&hl=en) Surely this would only work on places that you have taught the program before, but for this an integration with Llama would be like the absolute amazing dream! So it would drain no battery at all and it would be enough for me, to be reminded of sth when I'm at work or at home.
I like the concept and the idea though!

Think the idea of polling cell towers and using those as location IDs works well in highly built up cities. I've just installed the app and will give a try for the next few days! Thanls.

We are glad to tell you we are working on a new GeoTask version with more functionalities, including the possibility to add multiple places for one task! It's a huge work and we are busy with our job, but we hope we could release it as soon as possible!
We are very sorry for bad translation, we don't know German and we tried to do the best we can do. We hope some user, like you, would help us translating GeoTask into more languages to make it better.

[APP][3.2+] Readily: speed reader

Hello!
It's my first decent android application, which took something from Spritz and a bunch of similar apps from Google Play market. When I saw that there's no suitable android app for me, I decided develop it myself. Results are below :laugh: :
Readily is a speed-reading android application powered by RSVP(Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) technology. With it you can read up to 1200 words per minute instead of 220 when reading normally.
MAIN FEATURES
Parser of a text:
Normalizes: parser checks text for and fixes bad characters and duplicates of punctuation, proper spacing before and after punctuation. Also it splits too long words in smaller ones. After that text is becoming easier to comprehend.
Emphasizes: every word is processed in order to choose emphasis position - red letter's one, which gains maximum of your attention and helps you recognize the word in the fastest way.
Sets delay(optional): when you reading on such a speed, you can miss an essence of sentence. Therefore, parser sets gentle delays before punctuation, on digits and on long words to help you grasp information clearly.
Handy controls:
You can change speed on the go - just swipe to top or bottom.
To pause or play just tap the reader's window.
Storage of incomplete readings:
Preview of next words in a paragraph (opitonal).
Dark theme to comfortable reading in the night.
Optional font size.
SOURCES OF TEXT
Clipboard: you can simply paste text to Readily.
Internet: read your favorite articles from the net or share them from other reading application.
File storage: choose .txt, .epub or .fb2 file to read using Readily.

qeuBot is a personal chatbot similar to Telegram inline bots or any other chatbots you may have encountered elsewhere. It can perform online operations as well as offline ones seamlessly through WhatsApp itself. No registration or adding of phone numbers is required.
Accessibility service needs to be turned on for qeuBot to work. With the app itself being less than 2 MB in size, it requires a maximum of 20-25 MB RAM when performing complex operations, while at other times, it requires no more than 5-10 MB to run in background. qeuBot runs only when WhatsApp is running in foreground and ignores all other foreground and background apps or services.

Features
Currently, qeuBot is capable of performing the following operations:
- Looking up Wikipedia articles
- Performing mathematical calculations
- Fetching news regarding any topic through Google News
- Providing movie ratings through IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes
- GIF search through Giphy
- Image search through Bing (Note that you need to use your own API key to avail this service)
- Current day and 5-day weather forecast of any region through Yahoo Weather
- Daily horoscope
More features will be added accordingly. Request for more features will be entertained in thread, not in PM.
*While most of the features can be used free of cost, you will need to make an in-app purchase to use image/GIF search and news search*
Privacy
No information is collected at all for the use of this app. We do not need to know your name, phone number, email address or anything of the sort for you to use the app. All kinds of exchange happen entirely between you and the 3rd party service providing you with the required information. There is no middle man, there is no logging of the queries you make, not even for analytics.
Is this legal?
Yes, completely. While WhatsApp has been known to ban accounts/numbers acting as bots, this will not be the case here. There is no phone number that one should add in a group or send a message to in order to get a reply. The app works independent of the service without exploiting any unofficial APIs.

After getting a lot of requests, instead of going the paid way, most of the features are now available for free with just GIF/Image search and news search as paid addons which can be unlocked through a single in-app purchase.

It's an amazing app which is very useful at least for me in certain conversation.
One thing annoyed me is,
When I use things like news or horoscope or anything with text.
I don't know whether it's working in background or app is killed.
If you can add something like spinner or loader it would be good.
Anyways thumbs up for the app.

Latest update has an option under "Extras" to show a short toast message when an action has been triggered.

Great work, i hope you can take this to next level by making a " google assistant" as in google Allo to Whatsapp.
Edit: could not make the calculator to work on nexus 6 android 7.0

Making a separate assistant will be useless since people will expect it to be on the same level as Google Assistant. Let's wait till Google opens up their API, then I'll think about adding it.
Make sure you use only numbers for the calculator. Invalid expressions will not work.

Tried 5-4 @Cal and (5-4) @Cal and 9*5 @Cal or even the same expression as in the guide but nothing happens

By creating an event in a whatsapp group, the members will answer @in or @out and the bot will keep count of who´s in and out.

The app is telling me not to use a pirated version of the app, which I'm not. I downloaded it from the Google Play Store but I can't buy the rest of the features! Am I the only one that has this problem?
