Can't move apps to system - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys I need your help. Whatever I do, whatever app I use. Everytime I move a app to system and restart phone the app is completely gone. I can't find it anywhere. Lucky patcher tells me the system app doesn't exist. It just vanishes. Used a lot of different apps but still no luck. Anyone help?
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S6 SM G920F (phone itself thinks it's a SM G935F [Galaxy s7? edge] I don't know why)
ROM: Noble nature ux - android 6.0.1
Status: rooted + xposed framework

Check this post. The answer you need might be in there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/help/install-gps-spoofer-app-t3375755
For example that you need the original apk file and not the one as it is installed.

So you think manually moving the apk to system should work ?

[Request] original Galaxy Note S Note apk

Hello friends. I plan on attempting to install the original S Note app on my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. While the updated application appears cleaner, I find that it lacks the functionality of the original.
That said, can do somebody please direct me to a link for that apk? I've been searching for one without any luck fur some time now.

Hi, try this full program's complect from the latest firmware CML2. Path of the files are the same as in the archive (permissions rw-r--r--) : here
Already tried the pure apk (I pulled it out of my N8013 and tried to install it in a 2014 edition) but it doesn't work, it probably requires other files which I'm not sure how to install, just a user :/ perhaps someone has better luck...

[App mod] milk music working on any android device

To get milk music working on rooted, not samsung (and older samsung) devices.
Step 1: Back Up Your Build.prop
Just make a copy somewhere on your sd card, also make a backup of your os.
Step 2: Tweak Your Device Brand & Model.
Now go back to the /system directory, but this time tap on build.prop, don't long-press. Choose RB Text Editor to edit the file, then look for the model, brand, and manufacturer lines (highlighted below). Your original ones will show:
Note:as there are so many devices the <text> areas below will instead be specific to your device but the rest should be the same.
ro.product.model=<model>
ro.product.brand=<brand>
ro.product.manufacturer=<manufacturer>
Simply change them to match a (newer) Samsung device. I used a Galaxy S4.
ro.product.model=Galaxy S4
ro.product.brand=Samsung
ro.product.manufacturer=Samsung
Step 3: Save the build.prop
Step 4: Sideload the apk, because the play store still wont let you download it. So I am hosting an apk copy in my dropbox for ya'll.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/a16vvbhu4h6gvg7/com.samsung.mdl.radio-1.0.176956 (1).apk
Milk Music will now work with most of the functionality that it would on a native Samsung device, except that you won't be able to log into a Samsung account for syncing stations or enable explicit content from the settings.
Please post if this is working or not working for you. Include your device name, android version, and rom version.
Please let me/us know of any tweaks to this process you had to preform in order to get this working.

you have to leave it for it to work... it is for that reason i am searching for a modded apk that bypasses that check so it'll work on any device w/o modding...

I don't know much about it, but it sounds like something an Xposed Mod might be able to address.
Well what do you know - there's a new module in xposed that can make it work. Looks like it was just added.

I used to run ART but eventually I went back because of xposed. After a while, I really just forgot the difference. Hopefully a modded apk will show up though.

i used ART for the first month of owning my N5... then i switched to dalvik for some of goodies that xposed offers... tried out a few and ultimately preferred stability over features and i basically removed all xposed and just left it with dalvik for a bit... I noticed lags and stutters here and there and eventually switched back to ART and I can honestly say that ART is MUCH smoother and stable than running any other mode... i've tested this extensively with various settings and setups (always stock ROM with stock kernel or Franco) and nothing is as smooth as using ART... so i'm not going back for even one feature using xposed... just my experience

I also have a S3 running slimkat. I didn't bother editing the build.prop and just installed the apk. Works fine. Not being able to log in sucks though because I need my explicit fix!
It is possible to install the Samsung account app on non touchwiz firmware. I have managed to sideload it into CM11 and a GPe ROM on my S4.
Here's the .apk that I have saved on my SD card for when I flash new firmware:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/qptszssdcl52i5n/Samsungservice.apk
Install it like any other app. Then in settings>accounts, add a new account and select Samsung. The app will ask to update, then you can create an account or login to an existing one. Milk Music will automatically see the account and then you can enable explicit lyrics in the app.
The only problem I have with Milk Music is that I can't update it. Samsung changed the way it determines device compatibility and "broke" the app for custom firmwares. I had to sideload it and just have to search for the .apk whenever the app gets updated since it won't update via google play store.

I keep getting the "App not installed" error when trying to install the updated version , any ideas? The original version installed fine, I just can't update it with the latest.
Sorry, I don't have any idea what would cause that. I use the apk downloader to pull the file from Google play since my phone (t mobile S4 running the GPE firmware) comes up as incompatible when I try to go to the app directly the play store. This apk installed just fine for me. Try uninstalling the existing app and then install the 7/1 file.

I am seeing the same app not installed error let me know if I can help troubleshoot or get any info to you guys.
Thank you !
I don't have any involvement outside of providing the apks. I deleted the old files and left only the Samsung account apk and the latest milk music apk.
All I can suggest is deleting the old app, rebooting to recovery and clearing cache and dalvik and trying to reinstall. Maybe re-download the apk also. (Try apkdownloader or apkleecher to pull the actual file from Google play - that's how I managed to get it). Other than that, I can't provide any answers

Hi, any information about progress ?
I found that Vroot is working, but not for LTE verrsion T-235.
I used CF-Auto-Root-milletwifiue-milletwifiue-smt330nu.tar to root my T330 and it worked perfect. SuperSU detected Knox and I guess disabled it (I also freezed some Knox apps with Rom Toolbox Pro) I am also running Wanam Xposed which I guess fakes the system status to be set to Official so I can still get OTA. This tablet is really cool and I bet someone could make TWRP for it. I would be willing to help on anything. I know this thread is really for the 7" but I bet you guys know how to do it (recovery) on the 8" too.

Hey, this is the link from @lahegry that worked for me. https://mega.nz/#F!b9hG1Y4Q!z4xHvUzAjjmr16_oHWAjIw
Instructions:
0) Be rooted (duh)
1) Flash .zip using FlashFire(best) or ODIN
2) Install the .apk provided
3) Check to see if it worked properly by going to the Framework tab
4) If you got the green, enjoy! If not,check to make sure root is properly installed and your FlashFire has proper access. Then re-flash and try the process over again.

The other file is the flashable .zip file.
Assuming you already have your Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge rooted, you need to install FlashFire from the Google Play store.
After you have installed FlashFire, click the little plus button and select 'Flash ZIP or OTA'. Then select that zip file you downloaded from my site.
After that, it will pop up a box. Leave the settings as they are and continue, then click 'Flash'
Your screen WILL black out for a bit and take a while to boot. That is NORMAL. Please, DO NOT PANIC. The app will warn you this as well.
Do not install the apk file until you have flashed the zip
Let me know if you need anymore help!
Leave a thanks if I am helping you

Hi there,
I use YouTube ad away, for obvious reasons.
Xkik for extra kik features such as disabling read receipts and slight theming choices
Whatsapp emoji replacer - choice of what emojis you want in kik, doesn't show for the other party though
Whatsapp extensions - more features for whatsapp such as always show online and more
Rootcloak- for apps that won't let you use them if you are rooted
iFont- change fonts, not only system wide but on a per-app level
Most of these are for theming, and there are probably more I would use, just haven't found them yet.
Xposed working for Nougat with stang5litre 5.0 Edition s7 Edge N Rom
Hello,
This is a update from my last post of Xposed install, no need to do any flash, just install Xposed Installer 3.1.2. I'm running the S7 Edge G935V with Xposed working great. Downloaded Xposed installer by Rovo89 from this link XposedInstaller_3.1.2.apk or "This Link" then updated Xposed Framework to 88.1, works amazingly with nougat!
Here is a helpful link "working modules for Nougat Xposed" I was also able to get Greenify working with Xposed, It will only work with this Beta version, you can get it from this link Greenify.v3.7.1.apk, I have also tried Amplify, convert it to System App and change all files permission to 777, then set "SELinux Toggler" to "PERMISSIVE" mode, reboot your device, once the device has booted back up, confirm the change. I've installed AFWall+ and its working well. One of the apps I installed called Xprivacy has had to many glitches and made the system slow, I wouldn't recommended installing Xprivacy. The new stang5litre 5.0 Edition s7 Edge N Rom runs great, love it!
If you notice a lag, then do a cache clean. I use TB to clean cache, system logs and Dalvik cache, now ram is back to normal. I also use a application from play store called "HEBF Optimizer Root" this application aims to increase the performance of your device.
Hopefully this helps :good:
DONT, do as said in this last post. I did.
Now to figure out how to get phone back to working. Never had to do this without twrp before.
