Take photos for the visited places along your virtual tour with Street View, and save them to your mobile, so you can later browse this album as if you were really there..
Stop wasting time shooting Pokemons and start shooting photos for the monuments around the world without leaving your room..

Although GeoReality uses Maps but it will surpass traditional Maps apps like Google Maps in open areas with no landmarks where the maps are no longer useful like the forests and deserts.
It can be used as a navigation tool when sailing in the sea, or even on a plane the air!

OMG

With GeoReality you can not only search for places but you can also manually add places to the Map (either by selecting them on the map, or by entering their latitude and longitude).
You can add your close friends locations with their contact info (phone number, photo) to the Map, then use the Camera as a visual browser to search for a contact..

Share your location with your friends on Facebook or send it as a message via Whatsapp, Viber, Messenger, or by SMS..
The message will include a link that can be opened with GeoReality to add your location to the recipient Map.
Meet your friend on the street and allow him to “see” where you are using the Camera.
Give your workplace address to a customer.
Send your location to an emergency or delivery service if you don’t know where you are or if the addressing system in your country is not efficient.
Send your friend the location of a restaurant or any place he asked you for, by changing your own location on the Map to that place.
By sending your location with SMS: No need for internet connection => better coverage and lower cost.
The location link in the message could be opened with any Maps app running on Android or iOS if the recipient doesn’t have GeoReality.

GeoReality vs Pokemon Go
Augmentation technology for different purposes...

GeoReality Theoretical Principal
GeoReality is an innovative project that combines both of Augmented and Virtual Reality in a single platform. It stands at the middle point where augmentation and virtualization meet, giving you the same experience either for your real or virtual location..
It can be seen as a combination of essential services from all of Google Maps, Google Street View and Google Earth with additional features. For example GeoReality is the only app that lets you navigate and get directions in Street View..
GeoReality exploits augmentation technology to its extremes.. Its not just about overlaying digital information over a camera perview: by using the Location Based Actions and Notifications feature the digital information will augment your physical location..
I'm still updating the app to reach the best user experience, but your HELP is really needed..
So if you have a question, suggestion or a critic, PLEASE leave a replay to this post and I will be glad to answer it..
Thanks

New version is now in production..
What's new:
* Ability to set the Search and View Range in Camera preview.
* Quickly change your location on the Map by dragging the "Pegman" to the new location.
* Some visual and performance improvements.

In the new version:
* Share your location with your friends on Facebook or send it as a message via Whatsapp, Viber, Messenger, or by SMS..
* Enhanced algorithm for distributing the places markers on Camera view

After using the new version for a week:
This app is one of best navigation apps I have ever seen.
It adds fun to everything and also it's pretty useful.
I used it last month in the Pokéwalks it adds more fun and I actually use it instead of the Pokémon Go app to reach the location of the Pokémon.
Thank you very much for this awesome app and for keeping updating it
Everyone should give it a try to see what I'm talking about

Geo Reality: Augmented Street View With Navigation:
By adding Augmented Navigation to Street View you can not only see the navigation path on the map, but also you can virtually walk that path using Street View, and follow a set of Waypoints to reach your destination, before you actually hit the road.

GeoReality - Camera/Map Dual View Mode
With the dual view mode you can merge the map with the camera preview or Street view giving you higher awareness about your location and the surrounding places shown using the augmentation technology.
Many design changes and improvements have been done to GeoReality app in its latest update, in addition to adding the dual view mode.
The dual view mode provides the basic map tools like navigating to the selected places without the need to switch to the map page.
You can also change your virtual location in the Street View by dragging the Pegman icon to the desired location.
The map orientation will be synchronized with camera orientation but you can change the map view type to pan and move the map to any other area.
If you have any question or suggestion please leave a reply..

Augmented Reality Navigation while Driving:
Navigate to any place using the mobile camera, just by following the navigation path waypoints and directions.
#GeoReality has optimized its navigation capabilities for driving mode by using voice directions and not depend solely on compass orientation -which could be affected by magnetic interference inside the car- but also use the GPS orientation.

Great! trying on Galaxy Tab, works fantastic, goping to test more and post results later.
Thx
You're welcome, please test My Maps also. I'm very interested how this works on such a big screen
Thanks, definitely there's a need for an alternative to OruxMaps, which has terrible UI (most functions as well though) .
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
Locus is not just an alternative
Current support of My Maps is almost unique since My Maps editor from Google not work almost on all phones.
Also ability to directly download map (for example along defined path) into shared online cache or into separate file, wide range of map providers, etc. I have also prepared My Tracks integration directly into app but I'm waiting for new version of My Tracks on market.
i'd be glad to sent you logs of force closes. but i never had one... B-)
sent from my SGS 2.2.1 using XDA app
new version 0.9.2 on market
added OpenPiste map
added Statkart maps for Norway
improved application icon
new download mod allowing add tiles to already existed map!
removed limitation to "only" 8 layers to download
some other improvements and fixs
enjoy
Okay, this is really nice I love the UI..
The only thing I'm missing a bit is the german only "hike & bike"-mapsource (http://hikebikemap.de//http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/User:Colin_Marquardt/Hike_%26_Bike_Map).
just wanted to tell that version 0.9.3 is on the market. and it looks like the developper can't wait to publish 0.9.4 ;-)
nice new features, smooth as butter. now supporting route tracking!
sent from my SGS 2.3.1 using XDA app
Thanks Nick for tip, German Hike&Bike map (but without shading) is simply added!
and yes berkley, I can't wait to publish new version But it needs some more testing. Who want to test new features, can do here http://forum.asamm.cz/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=129. Feedback is welcome.
I actually published on Market new version. Main purpose is fixed access to Google My Maps account, mainly on android 2.1 devices. I really hope that now all will works ok!
there are also new features. Complete list of news, is as usual after application start!
Enjoy ...
Radically improved (on design side) version 0.9.10 is published on market now!
Please try, use it as much as possible and let me know about bugs and wishes!
MenionAsamm2, this is a very nice app!
Will try it next time outside with german army
One question: Is or will it be possible to navigate to coordinates?
You have to have any point to navigate on! So easiest is to go to any points category, tap bottom plus symbol and add point.
After that, you should simple click on it and choose guide on (to navigate on map with just "line" between you and target), compass (to compass screen) or navigate (to use google navigation)!
Wow, this is the best map viewer I've ever seen. Completely replaced Orux Maps for me. Thank you and keep up this great work!
Of course I will report any bugs I may encounter, logcat inclusive.
Can't install from the market. Says the device is not supported.
Archos 101 Tablet running Android 2.2.1
Would it be because the A101 doesn't include a GPS ?
Hi, it seems nice
For now it seems nice enough,
I have a HTC Tattoo running GB 2.3.2
I need some offline map viewer since I am going skiing abroad, I already use BruteAll Gmaps with world navigation enabled, I will inform you how it all works in couple of days.
Cheers
Vuk
Hi,
I actually published new version with improved market filtering. Gps is not required for app so now is explicitely disabled this requirement. Please try to install and let me know ...
Can confirm the new version is running on the Archos 101 Tablet ..
Good stuff!
Hi guys,
today I released new version of Locus on market. It now support improved track recording, also viewing on MyTrack tracks (this is not published feature) and many more ....

[FREE APP] ATV Trail Locator

Download: valevarkasystems.(com)/sites/android/atv/vvsatvtraillocator.apk
I just uploaded it to the Android Market, check it out: play.google.(com)/store/apps/details?id=com.valevarkasystems.atvtraillocator
I want the opinions of people out there that ride or walk the trails, or simply like using supportive apps.
Here's the deal. I got tired of riding the same trails around my area, but found it hard to locate other trails.
Because of this I developed an Android Application that allows you to find trails traversed by other riders or walkers.
I uploaded a videos to youtube: youtube.(com)/watch?v=Y_cj4x_6Z18
youtu.(be)/Wmk3cA2i2vI
This is directly from the description: "This app allows you to find popular off road trails where ATV, dirt bikes, mountain bikes, or walkers traverse.
You can broadcast your location so that other users of the app can see where the action is.
The application automatically records your traveled coordinates and publicizes them so that others can find traveled trails
visit VVS Sites for more information"
What do you all think? Would this help you out? (find popular trails, see where the action is)
If you see this exact post on other forums, it's because I want to get the word out.
Thanks,
New Features
I plan on adding new features such as trail information, pictures, and audio files.
This will allow for riders to post information about a trail such as dangers, difficulties, and conditions.
"QUOTE"
Travace: ↑
...unless you can keep em private some how.
"QUOTE"
Perfect! Keep them private as in only phones with specified cell numbers, i.e. 240-555-6789, can view trails posted by a particular device.
So, say a person is recording a new trail. This person can then "send", which really approves, phones with certain numbers or people in his/her contact list.
If you were not approved by said [ ] person/phone, then even if you have the app, you cannot view the trail.
This would be the same as word-of-mouth, but more visual.
Travace: dirtbikeaddicts.(com)/members/travace.111/
App crash fixes.
I have fixed all errors/crashes for the ATV app. You should download VERSION 4.0. Might take a while for Google to update the play store page, but you can download it right away from my website. The ATV app is now in the hundreds of downloads.

Version 5.0
VIDEO COMING SOON:
VVS website: http://www.valevarkasystems.com/sites/android/atv/vvsatvtraillocator.apk
Android Market: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.valevarkasystems.atvtraillocator
I'm still working on the backend scripting as of now. The reason I released the update even though the backend code isn't finished is because the templates for loading coordinates has changed, and without the update, previous versions will crash.
Update 5.0 includes 9 major additions to the trail application:
1.) Trail Tag - The trail tag adds more identification to the application as this allows you to slightly customize your trail marker so that if a few friends are looking for you, they can tap near-by map blips to see who is at that position, making identification easier. In order to use this feature, users must have an account with ValeVarkaSystems as the trail tag is the rider's username from the site, no longer the first and last name. The default trail tag is "Not Signed In".
2.) Link Pictures/Videos (2 features): Allows you to link already uploaded pictures from your account on Vale'-Varka Systems.com. You must have an account to link pictures or videos as, once again, the data is simply linked from what's already in your account. This was also programmed in this manner so that users can see their previous trail pictures and others as they are already listed in their account interface without having to use the ATV Trail Locator app.
3.) Trail Features, Ride Time, & Info (2 features): When this is activated, users will be take to Vale'-Varka Systems.com to see a list of pictures & videos, best ride time listings, and any trail features, such as, high water, closed, wild animals, unsafe, etc, so that riders on that trail can get an understanding of the safe or danger level of a given trail. This data can also be downloaded by simply tapping the trail markers on the map so that you don't actually have to be in that area to see data for that area as the "Trail Features, Ride Time, & Info" automatically uses your coordinates as the area.
4.) Personal Security/Time Delay: When activated, the user's time stamp is increased by 10 minutes. This is done so that user's can record trails without the worry of someone else tracking/stalking them the entire time. When recording trails and with the personal security option activated, your recorded trails will not show up in other user's phones for at least 10 minutes. This allows you to record a trail and then leave the area, with no one being able to track your movements.
5.) Satellite ON/OFF: This simply allows you to turn the GPS tracking on or off so that you can use the application without, once again, being tracked or have your position broadcasted.
6.) Account (Sign In/Out): This allows you to sign into your Vale'-Varka Systems account. This is needed in order to have a custom trail tag.
7.) Request No Ride Zone/Personal Spot: Some people want to ride with friends and know where they are, but they don't want their trail being publicized. This allows riders to send in request to have a "No ride zone" placed near their personal trails. Now, nothing shows the location of a personal trail more than an empty spot on the map. So, when approved, the "no ride zone's" blank area will be increased by a couple miles in each direction to mask the exact location of a personal trail.
Even more features are planned for the future to increase the efficiency and usefulness.

WiFi Triangulation
Currently working on the WiFi Triangulation. With this will come an animation denoting which phones are being used to triangulate your position; they will be surrounded by a ring, with you on the edge of that ring. As more phones triangulate your position, those rings will intersect at a common point, i.e. your location. As long as you are using WiFi to triangulate, you will see those rings from other phones.
Splash image - WiFi Triangulation
And yes, that is an icon of a plane! But, that represents, more or less, low speed, private pilots/single prop engines
Next thing you know I'm going to have a satellite icon, just kidding...
Awesome man I'm definitely going to try this out! The trails around my place are fun but it does get repetitive after a while.

I tend to agree. Even going to familiar places from unfamiliar ones wouldn't seem to need an app.
It may have been a programming exercise f for the op.

Its not necessary that one needs to be familiar with a route. Let's take an example ...
I go to Australia to visit my Bro (am unfamiliar with Australia as I live in the Middle East). Once am at his place I take his spare car and drive round the country side and need to get back home :s Had I set a marker before I left my bro's place, I could get directions easily. Ok, that was day 1. Day 2, I move out again ... remember I know my brother's place if I am near or about the locality but have no clue of where I am when I drive beyond a point. This could help me.
Now, if I have a widget on my launcher, I could use this right through my Australian trip.
That said, I have not tried this app yet. I do wish that this could tie up/ integrate with other offline map apps too such as Sygic, etc. When I am at my home, I use Google Maps a lot, but when I am touring, I use offline maps to save on my data. Would be good if I could go through Google maps on my PC, place markers and then have it pop up in my offline map application when I do not want to use Google maps.
I like this app, it is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for it.

It's not only usefull for common places. You can add any place you want. For example for a trip preparation.
You can also search places in Google Maps and for later use you can send the place to the app and safe it.
I work a lot in different citys and i use it dayly to get around. If you live in a small town it is easy to find your way but in big citys which you are not familiar with it's always a nightmare.
And with the categories you can easily manage your addresses for example by work, friends, family, discos and so on.
There are a lot people whih are brilliant in navigation but i am a bit stupid with this. so i created the app to help people like me to find there way faster(one click or even with a widget) and more easy.
Hello everybody.
I hope you hav fun with my app.
I added some new features which makes it more usable and a little help for beginners.
Features:
- save of last category
- added help
- added menu
- added button in menu to get current gps position
Great app, but is there any way of getting rid of the annoying ads at the bottom?
In the newest version i made them already less anoying. Because in the past the ads pushed the buttons away. Now the buttons stay where they are so that you can't accidentally press the ads.
And if i would put them on top then the ads would push away the list and then you maybe navigate to a location you don't want.
And i wanted to give a free app with full functionality instead of a demo version.
So i use the ads because it cost me a lot of work to create this app and to make it runable on a lot of systems.(Hopefully it's bug free)
I'm liking the app so far you. I would gladly pay a $1 to have an ad free version. I had a few suggestions that hopefully could be added.
1. Even though when we save a location it saves the latitude and longitude can it also fill in the complete address for the location.
2. More labels notes is a good start phone would be another good one or even better you can add your own
3. maybe when you are in the location edit the button that you use to launch could instead be a street view image of the location.
4. option to change distance from km to miles for the US
5. options to sort addresses A-Z, distance from you etc...
6. more background colors and styles
Thanks a lot for those tips. After i read this i needed to implement some of this stuff in my app.
So here are the new features:
- automatic suggestions while you type in the address (only works with active internet connection)
- new labels like phone number, email and web
- new search function
- show distance in miles and feet
- sort locations by distance
- new info window with automatic functions like call, send email and start browser
Hope you have fun with the app. And please tell me if you have any trouble or if you like to see other stuff in the app.
PS.: I think about a payable version of the app without ads. But at the moment the amount of users is too small.
But you can change that
Now a new Version is out with new features.
- added public transport navigation
- fixed an import export bug
- small grafic changes
- when you share an address out of the new version of google maps 7.0 than the application will be able to read the information

Hi,
First of all thanks for your great app. Really useful.
As many other users, I prefer to use a voice command when I'm on the road. So far the best for me is KLets and I was thinking if you could allow its developer to add support for your app in order to be able to launch a Clicknav's location item with the voice command: "Navigate to" + "location name".
There's a discussion in the support forum of KLets. Hopefully you could help us.
http://www.voicecontrolapp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=13463&p=16631#p16631
The idea is to allow external access to the location list and be able to invoke a location item via Intents (maybe there's an easier way).
Thanks in advance

Thx. No, it will be fixed in the following release of the application.
Please let us know what kind of new features would you like to be added.
I have seen some other apps that do similar things. What I'd like to have is to record and report a track: i.e. when you monitor a location of person with the phone, I'd like to see his current position and some kind of history, i.e. his track. Are you planning to add something like that?
Hello
I think it will be good product.
But it still crashes time to time and I don't realise what are the "Lbels" for?
A new version of Track Kit BETA is available for download.
Tanks for the logs sent!
We have fixed errors and made some improvements. Please check application performance in background.

LABELS.
Labels are used to mark static objects like "School", "My home", "Turn left here" etc.
They are NOT related to a track and are bound to the map. That's why they are shown with different color. The future version will introduce real-time label tracking option with label distance and bearing like shown in a file attached.

I see, thank you.
So why programm purpose to add waypoint if I do long-press on the non-track place in "record-mode"?
Waypoints should be on the track and labels anywhere, aren't they?

There is an option called "Add labels as waypoints". When this option is turned ON labels are considered as waypoints and are added to the recorded track only. It's done to be able to mark some interesting distant places around a track. E.g. buildings, mountains etc. Users can add some pictures to those waypoints later. If this option is turned OFF a regular label (orange) is added to the map, not a track.
Landscape mode
Will landscape mode be supported?

I will test this out tomorrow. I have used MyTracks in the past, but it has bugs. Joyfully this will be just as good or better when it gets out of beta. Good luck.
I have the settings menu set to show me distance in mi, but on the tracks menu it shows my last recorded track in km. Any way to get that fixed?
Also, the map is set to Standart, is it supposed to be like that, or is it just a misspelling of Standard?

In addition to many other features... Try it now you won't regret it, critics and reviews are most welcome...

GeoReality lets you visualize locations placed on the map by showing them in reality through your device camera.
First add your favorite locations by either:
* Selecting them on the map.
* Search for nearby places or use text searching to search for a place name or place type (ATM, Bank,..).
* or Add a specific location by entering its latitude and longitude.
All locations placed on the map will be displayed in front of you through the camera with their real-time distances and bearings according to your present location and direction.
* You can add info to those locations (Address,phone,comments..), and an optional tag picture.
* Click a location marker on the Camera screen to display its info and picture.
* Track a location to know its direction when it goes out of sight, as a simple navigation method.
* Send your location via SMS to someone else who also has the app to add your location on his map, so he can "see" where you are.
* Zoom an area when the locations markers overlaps on the camera screen.
* Pinpoint your own location on the map to reach maximum location accuracy, or use GPS/Network to automatically determine it.
* Locations added to the map will be stored on your device, so no need for permanent internet connection when using the app.
** IMPORTANT NOTES: **
- GeoReality depends on the compass sensor to determine your direction and the selected locations bearings, so if you experience poor compass behavior try calibrating it by waving your device in (∞) shape several times or watch this video to learn how to calibrate the compass:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1EPbAapaeI
- If the device has a cover with a magnetic clip you should remove it, because it will affect the the compass and the app performance.

I like it so much. You could match places to categories, each category could have own colour. You could add a background to the description, because sometimes it is not possible to see information, when background has the same color like a text.

It's really a good idea to let user select the marker color to categorize locations..
hopefully I will include it in the next update
looks good.
cacheing for offline use?

The app uses the default map caching, because once the locations are added to the map they will be stored in the app database and displayed on the camera screen without the need for internet connection.
you need the map only if you want to add new locations

I've double checked everything regarding the app distribution but I couldn't find the reason why it's not compatible with your device.
Anyway you could download it from this store:

Hey, are you able to add US measurements on it? Even though I know somewhat what the equivalent is for miles vs km but it's just more of a convenience for us in the states. Otherwise your app is simple but effective ?
