SamsungPay - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note5

Does anyone know if their is anyway to have root and use SamsungPay? I know it checks for the Efuse but could the app be tricked into thinking it was secure and allow it to work.

Use 0.facebook.com

Hi all,
I have samsung galaxy s 3 with droidwall and root access and I wonder If there is a way to access 0.facebook.com without having a data plan. In my old phone, which was very old, when I tried to access 0.facebook.com it didnt charge me for using the internet. Now I have blocked all apps in droidwall and left only internet unblocked but still i get a message that i have been charged.
Does anybody have any idea?

Google Fit on Galaxy S5?

I recently bought a Galaxy Gear Live and was excited to use it with S health on my Galaxy S5. Turns out, though samsung claimed they would update their software to be compatible with their watch, it still isnt. Not a problem, though. I thought i would still use the google fit app, as its an android wear device. Turns out my phone isnt even compatible with the google app?? Im not sure what to do as both company apps are not supported. Any ideas?

Just because it says it's incompatible doesn't mean it won't still work on your device. You could download the apk and attempt to install, worse case scenario is it won't work

Tried that now, it seems to glitch my phone and freezes it. Also, i just found out other S5's ARE compatible.

That's very odd. Normally Sprint phones are pretty flexible with most apps. Is your S5 on kk or LP?

Turn off auto MMS retrieval on Hangouts and the default messaging app. Do not open a MMS from anyone you do not know.
Samsung AT&T patched the s5 and s6
waiting on them to to do the s4 as well I thought I heard its a worse problem on the s4 in terms of privilege escalation
Lookout has a stage fright detector tool that seems to be pretty accurate the s5 it shows as being patched after the update after

you do thing those patched will applied on custom rom bcuz for me it seem like its only patched for stock roms right...
Well this is a problem. My S2 and S4 are both running jelly bean. My S3 here is running kit Kat. Hopefully the people over at CM Security will release some sort of protection. If I OTA my S4 I will lose the ability to use loki doki. If I OTA my S3, I will lose root and can't re-root without tripping KNOX warranty bit and my S3 is still under warranty (I think?).
my phone just got an update today. Does anyone know what it might be? its still 5.0.1

It is OC4 which is the stage fright fix

Got the update alert yesterday morning but selected remind me later. Was debating whether to take it as I still want to root this S4. Don't know if they tweaked the B/L even more to prevent downgrading, rooting and then upgrading. But then I remembered the Stage fright bug and realized what the update was probably for.
Took the update and it is OC4 but still Android 5.0.1.

Prem Hotspot on PD2?

So I've figured a way to get the hotspot working on update pd2. Only thing is if i profile update it goes away, not much of a concern because i never profile update but i would like to have the choice to profile update and not worry about losing hotspot and then going through that progress to get it back. Does anyone know how to keep hotspot even after a profile update? Thanks much appreciated.

Looking for a ad blocking app

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S8 snapdragon and was wondering if there's a good ad blocking app that I could use. I use to use adaway on S7 but without root my options are limited and adblock plus doesn't work for me.

I use Adguard. $25 for a lifetime license. https://adguard.com/en/adguard-android/overview.html
Disconnect Pro in the Galaxy Store works great.
thanks for the suggestions if I get the money I look into them. I hoping to find a less costly solution.

Adhell from the play store.
Best possible one is disconnect for samsung Knox. I have it. System wide ad block with no ads and no root get it from Galaxy store but it's $25
