Hey,
because of the Pokemon Go craze I bought a very cheap Android phone (I have Windows Phone on my main phone, but I get a proper Android in January).
The Phone is a Landvo V1 OS Android 5,1
MT6580M, Quad Core, 1.3Ghz,ARMv7 Processor
GPU: Mali-400MP
ROM 4GB
RAM 512MB
I wanted to root it, so I could expand the RAM. After rooting with kingoroot it became really slow, so first I tried to look for an deroot option in kingoroot, but it didn't work exactly. Then the phone started rebooting constantly. Well so then I tried to flash it with the Smart Phone Flash Tool. First it seemed to work, but the phone still doesn't boot. Phone is detected by my Win10 Laptop.
Could someone help? I really just want to play ingress (yes Pokemon doesn't work on this...

Hey guys,
I have not used the forums in a long time. My previous time I came here looking for help rooting my old Samsung Galaxy S3, and I was able to root.
This time however, I NEED to root my NeuTab 10.1.
I have tried searching xda without much luck, perhaps because is not a big name tablet.
The reason I said I NEED to do it its because some bloatware I am not able to remove (G-Sensor Calibration), it causes my internet browser to open 2-3 new windows with advertisements every-single-time I use the power button to bring my tablet out of stand-by mode.
Specification:
Google Android 5.1 (Lollipop)
10.1 inch multi-touch screen with 1024x600 resolution
A83T Octa-Core, ARM Cortex A7 @ up to 2.0GHz x8 Processor
1GB RAM, 16GB Storage

Hi Guys,
I have got my hands on an android phone that is not only brand new to the market, it's locally produced (South Africa).
So I'm finding it hard to find guide's on rooting and custom roms.
Device spec's:
Processor: Cortex A7 (MT6580A)
OS version: v5.1 Lollipop
RAM: 1GB
ROM: 8GB
Screen: 5" (720x1280px)
Could anyone help with any info on standard rooting practices and/or guides for this device in particular? (Google has nothing )

Can someone please provide stock rom for swipe konnect plus.
Phone is rooted with kingo root. I removed the stock browser and cleanmaster that came pre-installed and now it is stuck at boot logo
I did a factory reset and cleared cache partitions but still facing the same issue.
Please help!!

If there is no development on my android mobile, and I intend to try porting ROM of some other device, which all parameter should necessarily match : CPU, RAM, ROM, Screen Size, SIM, Camera, any other ??
I have a Huawei Honor Bee (Y541-U02) which runs on Spreadtrum SC7731 processor, has 1GB RAM and 4.5" screen. Although I can find several devices on same CPU and same RAM but with different screen size. Can I attempt porting their ROM ? Can it brick my device ?

Im not sure where to post this, and after 2 years, who to ask or where to look for help anymore.
HELP! I need firmwear or ROMs for the Visual Land Prestige ELITE 7QS, mine is stuck on the "Visual Land Prestige ELITE 7QS" boot screen, before anyone asks, yes, I have powered up into recovery mode, then choosing the factory reset option 1/2 dozen times, let the battery drain completely and do it again. VL customer support had me do it 1/2 dozen times before telling me to send it in, unfortunately I cant do that, it was a gift and i have no way of getting any of the info that they wanted. (nor would/can they point me to the firmware), its been way past the warranty anyway.
I cant find out what it is inside other than whats on the specs everyone has: Model # ME7QS16GBBLK

2 years ago I searched for no less than 3 month for ANYTHING for my Visual Land Prestige ELITE 7QS 7" 16GB, I have searched Google, Yahoo, Bing, for ROMs Updates, firmware, images, zips, ANYTHING!!!!, nada, nothing; I got it as a gift so VL customer support has been NO HELP, I cant even send it to them. It cant be that VL PE 7QS or the A33 in it is so new that no one has ever had any
dealings with it...soooo? Im kna a noobie but if flashed a few phones n tablets...
