Overview of tricks for the game Dead Shell
Dead Shell is a rogue-like game with a ‘90s shooter atmosphere available on iOS and Android. In the game mercenaries with plasma rifles explore the catacombs of a distant space colony, Plutonia, on a Doom-4 class planet.
Unfortunately, the developers haven’t included any cheat codes like IDDQD or IDKFA, but even without them there are plenty of tricks. Like any self-respecting old school game should, Dead Shell contains a lot of secrets and hidden techniques, which we’re going to share with you in this text.
So, the beginning of the game. After a short tutorial you’ll find your Mercenary alone - the rest of the squad is not available to you yet. Your first goal is to find all those soldiers and add them to your squad.
Soldiers can be obtained from cases, and you get your first case right after you complete the starting level. After going through some labyrinths you will learn the main principles of the game and collect some money in credits.
Starting tips for the Dead Shell game
- Don’t rush to spend your first earnings on upgrading your Mercenary - in the future you’ll come across some more powerful warriors.
- Always use your Mercenary’s special skill on enemy corpses, don’t miss this opportunity: the credit rewards will be indispensable in the early stages of the game.
- Use the axe more often to finish off the enemies: later in the game, ammo will be scarce.
- Go to the quest section (paper sheet icon under the warriors) and study your goals: completing quests is one of the important sources of credits.
- Upgrade your cargo ship once right away or, better, twice (it’s located above the warriors, to upgrade hold the upgrade button).
After the upgrade, send the cargo ship on a mission at once - the sooner it goes exploring the sooner it comes back with loot.
Continue to explore Plutonia. Soon your first shuttle will come back to you. The shuttle brings back a number of ammo packs equal to the number of its upgrades.
Make sure to upgrade the shuttle more until it has 4 slots and only after that send it on a second mission: the more upgrades the shuttle has, the more ammo it will bring you in the same time.
Battle trick:
- Seeing a medical kit, don’t pick it up at once: wait until your health is at its minimum and only then pick up the medicine. The same advice applies to the medical room.
- Remember that ghosts don’t leave trophies.
- It’s possible to discover a warrior that you already have in your team in a case. In such circumstances your warrior will gain in health, his axe attack will be improved, also the warrior will change visually (become taller and more broad-shouldered).
Tips on upgrading in Dead Shell
When you get 2 or 3 more warriors in your team, you can look around and plan your upgrades. Every warrior has a corresponding class of weapon that is most damaging in his hands. In the description of such weapons the damage number will be written in a brighter color.
Study your weaponry and detect your most equipped warrior - maybe someone has a rare assault rifle or a unique rifle. A character with such a weapon is a good candidate for maximal upgrading.
You should also take into consideration the scaling of the special skills of each warrior. For instance, the Medic’s healing restores a fixed number of health points. This means that the more Medic cards you find the more health he’ll have and the less efficient healing him will be.
In contrast, the Commando cans freeze all monsters (any kind of, from Slime to Cyborg) for three turns. This skill will work the same way at any level of the game. Which is more important: the effect or its stability, is up to you.
Battle trick:
- If you come up on a room that offers ammunition for sale, buy it: ammo is very valuable in Plutonia and a dead man doesn’t need credits.
- Constantly check the quest section - if the game asks you to upgrade a warrior, do it, and the quest will compensate your expenses.
- For a quest you can give your weaker warriors an upgrade - it will be cheaper than upgrading the leading character.
Continue your journey on a Doom-4 class planet!
The more you win, the stronger the monsters become. At this stage one levelled-up character isn’t enough: he’ll run out of ammo and you’ll inevitably acquire some weapons fit for other characters in your arsenal.
Upgrade one or two more warriors, choosing them by following the tips above and according to your personal preferences.
Tips for the final level of Dead Shell
- Enter the game every day for a daily prize.
- If at the start of the run you’ve got monsters you can’t handle, it’s wise to reroll them once or even twice. A third reroll of the monsters is too expensive and usually isn’t worth it.
- Remember the types of rooms, they define the number of monsters in the group: in the Hangar and the Entrance Lock there are fewer, in the Reception Office and the Security Post there are more.
- The probability of getting a particular warrior in a case varies: to get some of the rarer ones you have to secure dozens of victories.
Don’t forget to switch to weapons like the BFG and rocket launcher - even if they don’t belong to any of the mercenaries, they are quite powerful on their own (especially in rare and unique modifications).
Battle trick:
- On Android, any purchase disables all in-game ads, once and for all.
- Also if you buy energy once, the mechanic is removed from the Android game forever - we advise you to do so, it will turn the game into a pure premium product.
After one or two hundred victories the power of the monsters will increase to unbelievable levels. The developers are planning for the squad to be able to move to another planet, resetting the difficulty back to zero.
We only have to wait until this update of the game, for now we just can rely upon the chance (that places the exit next to the entrance) and try to collect more credits and weaponry.

Spells of Genesis
In Spells of Genesis you embark on an epic fantasy adventure while constantly collecting and trading orbs(cards) to upgrade your deck. On your adventure, you will face hundreds of opponents. To defeat them, you have to battle them using the unique battle system featured in Spells of Genesis. The following screenshots are from the alpha version. The background is missing and the visuals are not final, but illustrate how you will have to battle your enemies.
In each level, there are some enemies you have to destroy. You will do that by shooting your own orbs at them. Each orb has different strengths, weaknesses and special abilities. When your orb has zero speed left, it will grow until it reaches an obstacle. Placing your orbs strategically is crucial to achieve victory, because if you cross the red line, you will lose.
Beside from what these alpha-version screenshots show you, the game will take place in a fantasy world. You will travel through mountains, deserts, waters and will meet the most amazing creatures there. There will also be a Player versus Player mode and other social features.
Spells of Genesis will be developed by Everdreamsoft, the creators of the successful trading card game Moonga(250.000+ downloads) in combination with Bitforge, the creators of the game Orbital, which was very successful in the launch days of the Ipad and has proven his addictiveness by achieving hundreds of thousands of downloads.
The Grand Story of Moonga
For over 700 years, the different kingdoms in the world of Moonga lived under the dominance of the terrible empire of Sayosia. Then, in a small town, a boy named Kallan was born. His father, a blacksmith, had no place for him so he decided to bring him elsewhere. After nobody wanted the clumsy child, he decided to bring him to a small forest where the Wizard of the Four Valleys was known to live. Raised by the wizard, Kallan learned understanding the nature and the world around him. When he left the wizard, he went to a city called Cartaam, where he made a discovery that would change the world of Moonga forever.
He found a way to confine the essence of creatures and humans into small parchment pieces. These small cards – commonly known as Spells - enclosed the essence of what had been imprinted in them. It was a difficult meticulous task and it took Kallan several years to master the right formula.
With these powerful spells, the people of Moonga were able to defy their rulers, and a new age began…
Story chapter IV : the jewel valley
The new chapter that we are introducing with Spells of Genesis is an allegory of the bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Askian is a place in the Moonga world surrounded by high mountains inhabited by humans, dwarfs and dragons. People living in Askian are rich as the mountain contains a lot of precious material. These precious materials are mined in the mountains and have magical propriety: they can be transferred in the air easily. Different regions of the valley are fighting each other for the dominance of the valley. Some groups are popping up time-to-time creating and mining precious material with different propriety. They try to rally most of the miners to their cause. In fact the group who can impose their precious jewel will gain significant wealth.
The crowdsale and In-game Economy
We will fund the game using a new phenomenon called "Crowdsale". The difference between Crowdsale and Crowdfunding(like kickstarter), is that if someone backs a Crowdsale project he will actually share financially in the success of the game instead of only getting goodies or a free copy of the game.
We tailored the crowdsale to be a revenue share system with backers.
We will put 100.000 “Mines” for sale during the Crowdsale. Everyone who is interested in the game can buy some of these mines to finance the development of the game. When the game launches, these mines will start producing “Gems”. Gems are the premium currency in the game, used for buying new packs of cards and enhancing the gaming experience. So everyone who owns a mine, will be generating gems. The more gems there are purchased by the players, the more gems the mines will produce.
At the moment you own gems, you can choose to either use them in-game, or sell them to other players using Bitcoin and in this way get your investment back from the crowdsale. An internal marketplace will allow players to trade gems for bitcoin.
How the gem-creation, mines and marketplace exactly work, I will show to you by using an example:
A player buys 100 gems for 10 dollars in the in-game store from EverdreamSoft. At that point, he will get his 100 gems from EverdreamSoft. Then the mineholders all together will then also receive 100 gems from EverdreamSoft. Then the mineholders can decide to use their gems in-game, or sell them on the marketplace to other players using Bitcoin.
The total amount of gems produced by the mines is equal to the total amount of gems sold to the players in the in-game store. So the more popular the game gets, the more gems the mineholders will be able to sell. The total amount of gems produced will be divided by the mines, so an owner of 1 mine will receive 1/100.000 of the total amount of gems produced. Mines are some kind of cryptocurrency, like bitcoin, which can be traded with other people.

Pretty fun game. The main problem is the balance. I was not that far into the game when I was easily killing everything, but when a T-rex came, it tore down my 20 health before I could kill it. Also, it is annoying when the turrets shoot directly at the dinosaurs and miss, they should shoot where the dinosaurs is going to be. Besides that, I love the whole classic feel and I am a fan of turret defense games. The funny story is a bonus too.
Fun game. I'm a fan of these types of games and this one is done well.

Yeah, balancing values for all the parts in the game was a hard thing to do, because there is so much variety in each tower and we didn't choose to make all towers similar to each other. The starting towers are pretty basic, but when you upgrade them with + parts of the same type, they can do some serious damage all the way to era 5.
Try investing in different types of bullets, if you buy a missile and a component with the "guided" effect, those missiles will always hit the target or, you can buy lasers and make yourself an emitter tower that constantly shoots beams of lights to the target. If you manage to Ace an era (3 stars in all levels) you'll be rewarded with a special part!

The Queen said: “My dear, here we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place. And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that.” And this is the slogan of this game.
Gameplay issues
Alice's path is full of difficulties. She has to jump over the ground pieces trying not to fall down and avoid different towers and stone blocks. It's very easy to control Alice: tap left to jump, tap right to use 'boost' and remember that the rush distance depends on a tap duration.
As in many other runners you obtain the points trying to reach new highscores. The generation of levels is great − every try is unique. The game is rather tricky and interesting because of unpredictable order and location of the objects. With the lapse of time our heroine runs faster and faster so you must have magnificent reaction to run far enough.
As your progress goes through you will obtain bonuses and purchase the keys to the other worlds: 'the blue league' and 'the purple league'. Also you may be lucky to catch special 'cold bonus' allowing Alice to run in initial rate for some time to get even further. And maybe one day you will be persistent enough to obtain the Queen's Castle key.
While playing you enjoy the different obstacles overcoming, especially when you get used to the controls and the dynamics of runner.
This game addicts and interests you from the first moments you play. It trains your reaction excellently because of necessity of planning your jumps and 'boost' using in advance to run far enough. Alice is crushing down again and again, but you want to make a new attempt all the same.
The graphics and the soundtrack
'Alice in Wonderland: Run Alice' is visually attractive, the locations are stylish and colorful. Beautiful graphics helps you to find yourself in the atmosphere of wonderful fairytale. You admire the plenty of details, spellbinding patches of reflected lights, sparkles and clouds, spectacular special effects. The pleasant sounds and funky music are complementing the gameplay harmoniously.
In conclusion
Overall 'Alice in Wonderland: Run Alice' is a qualitatively realized runner with picturesque locations, splendid graphics and the exclusive style. There are no donations and the advertisements are rather unobtrusive. The application is well optimized, your device is not getting warm during the long playing, and that's important.
