[Guide] Ultimate Pokemon Go GPS Spoof Setup - Android General

Everyone knows about Pokemon GO; most will know about spoofing your GPS too.
I have spent quite a while tweaking the more generic guides available online to get a setup that is perfect for my LG G3 and think it would help to share my findings.
Requirements
Rooted Android Device (Any ROM)
Disable Service
Pokemon GO
FakeGPS (£2.99)
/system/app mover
Instructions
Open DisableService
Go to System
Search for "Location"
Select "Fused Location" & disable "FusedLocatonService"
Select "LocationServices" & disable everything inside (This might not be present on AOSP roms)
This will stop the phone jumping between your actual and spoofed location.
Install FakeGPS as a System App
Using /system/app mover, simply select FakeGPS and move it to system followed by a reboot.
Open FakeGPS
Enable "Expert Mode"
Disable "Enable auto close"
Select a location
Open Pokemon GO and see your location has changed!
Tips
Don't change your location to be very far away from your initial location, doing this may result in a softban
Don't frequently jump between many locations, find a good spot and stick to it for a bit, close the app and then chamnge location
You can emulate walking by selecting "Move around fake location" in FakeGPS, this will help eggs hatch (Currently testing this myself, when I have good figures I will post my results)
If you get a softban, leave your location where it is and try again in an hour or so (normally 1-3 hours)

Thank you for this guide mate! But my location is always changing from real to spoofed one. I neither have 'location' nor 'LocationService' in DisableService. Any advise? Any Further nformation required?
Gesendet von meinem SM-G935F mit Tapatalk

I work tech support and I can't play at work because the town I work in is so small. I try to make it go to a town over which is where I live which has all the gyms and my saved locations for pokestops to do XP runs but when I do that it won't let me do anything at that location. It doesn't snap me back and fourth it just doesn't work pokemon run and no pokestops work. Doesn't seem like a ban or a Softbank because once I move it closer it works fine. For example if I wanted to move to new York for the night you're saying I have to wait for an hour in that location to get it going?

I know this may sound basic but have you disabled FusedLocation followed by a reboot? It won't work correctly until you reboot.

Changing location appears to be proportional i.e. the further you move from your original location, the longer you may have to wait before being able to interact with the map.
For example, if I move a three miles or so, I can use pokestops straight away. If I jump cities, without closing the app fully, I may have to wait or at the very least restart the game.
This is what I would do in your situation.
Force stop Pokemon GO
Clear cache
Set locaton to wherever you wish to grind XP/items
Open the game
Let me know how it goes; send me a pm if you get stuck

Do you mean you don't have FusedLocation? Check again because that's an integral part of your device so should be there.

I think these two services are the only location services (searched for "location", "Standort"[German])
But there's no other service like you were describing which prevents from snapping back to my real location.

Try changing accuracy to 10, update interval to 50 (in FakeGPS)
Also in location settings set it to device only

Hey can anyone help me?
I've a problem, after moving the FakeGPS app using the /system/app mover, I'm stuck in a bootloop.

I've never had a problem moving an app to system.
Try wiping cache/dalvik in recovery
Connect phone to usb when booting and see if you have abd access
--edit--
though you say a boot loop, how long have you actually left it to run "optimizing apps"?

You'll need to find out how to disable FusedLocation on your phone. I am running pure AOSP and have FusedLocation as a service; disabling that will resolve the problem.
Take a screenshot of DisableService when searching "Location"

I did "wiping cache/dalvik" - After that my phone booted and moved into the "Optimizing system..." thing
"though you say a boot loop, how long have you actually left it to run "optimizing apps"?" - Like a hour.

The phone is not listed under adb devices.

I fixed it with a factory reset, it wasn't the fault of the app mover, I don't really know why.

Very good guide. This is working great on my Note 4! Thanks!

[APP]Quick Wifi Switcher (now with widgets and Eclair support)

Quick WiFi Switcher is an app to quickly switch between your (configured) APs.
This is useful, when you're in an area where more than one configured AP is available. Sometimes Android decides to switch between them for different (unknown to me) reasons. Reconnection to the AP of your choice is now fewer clicks away than through the settings.
You start it by long-pressing your search button, or via shortcut.
Info shown on top:
Current SSID
Current IP
Current Signal (bar and RSSI)
In the selection list you have the following info:
SSID
Signal strength (Icon and RSSI)
Encryption settings
Configuration state (Green -> configured, Red -> unconfigured)
Connection state (connected AP is selected in the list)
The list contains all discoverable APs in range.
The following functions are implemented to date:
Enable/Disable WiFI
Scan for surrounding APs (automatically on startup / manually via button)
Connect to previously configured AP
Reconnect current AP
Open WiFi Settings for unconfigured APs (for now)
User Setting for closing on selection
Widgets
There are two widgets implemented for now:
Info Widget (1x2)
Switcher Widget (1x1)
The Info Widget shows information about the currently connected network:
SSID
IP-Address
signal level (RSSI and Icon)
For the Switcher Widget you have to choose a configured network. This will be monitored. Whenever the system scans for APs, the widget will update itself with the current info about the chosen network.
A network in range has a signal level icon
If the network is the current one, the text will be gray, else red
Touching the widget will automatically connect to the chosen AP
Changelog
Version 0.6
support for Eclair (2.1) added
widgets added
Version 0.5
Initial Version
Android 2.2 is needed for now, will check if 2.1 is possible.
Android 2.1+ is needed.

Hi,
I'd really appreciate any feedback.
Tell me what you think, what you like/dislike and what is missing...

I would really love tasker integration. I have 2 wireless networks at home, a public one, and a backup one. I have to remember to switch ssid at night so the phone can do it's rsync thing. Programatically selecting the right said at the right time would be hugely beneficial.
Hi,
looks nice.
What do you think about checking every configurable seconds if a better known Wifi is available and switch then automatically?
Have 2 routers at home, android does not switch automatically even if its the same ssid. Tried with different ssid too, android doesnt switch. You have to manually reconnect, then it takes the better one.
just DL'ed your apk-file, upon install, it says (in details view of app manager): Could not open as apk file.
When I click your QR code link in the topic, there's nothing there either...

Nice app..just what I was looking for. As for my two cents, I think it would be great to create widgets assigned to particular ssids that can be shown on the home screen. This would prove to be a quick way to select the ssids.

Did you try to d/l from my site? I just downloaded and everything was fine. The QR-Code is not from me, but the new killer feature of xda. Please report if d/l from my site worked. We'll have to find another way if it does not. BTW I sometimes face the issue that I'm not able to open apk's from the browser download notification, but only from a file explorer (but that may be my ROM). Did not find out a pattern in this though.
@all: Thanks for the feedback. Good to see that there is demand and the needed functions are mainly those I initially thougth of.

Good work mate, im not near Wi-Fi so cant test right now but will tomorrow hopefullly,im using Galaxy S2.
This is exactly what I need.
I have 2 routers at home too and I can be sitting 2 feet from one but my phone still hangs on to the weaker of the two.
As mentioned above it would be great if it could be configured to switch to the strongest authorised access point automatically.
Downloading now and will report my findings.
OK. Problems here.
Desire S, S-Off, Rooted, running Virtuous Unity 1.29.
First issue I noticed was that as soon as I installed it I couldn't access any of my access points in the house.
It was finding them but wouldn't connect even if was sitting right beside it.
The next problem I had was constant forced closures. Almost every app that I opened would force close.
Now I understand that both of these could[/c] be rom issues, since this is a new revision, but seeing as both happened right after installing your app I suspect it's not.
Both of these issues happened as soon as I used you app.

Wow, that sounds bad. Could you send me a logcat of when this happens. I can't really imagine any function of the app cause such trouble, but I will look into it, why it would not connect.
The force closes cannot come from the app, since it does nothing to the system aside scanning wifi APs and connecting to them. Maybe it's really ROM related.

First of all, what device are you using.
Second, the app has a min sdk level of 8, so Froyo is required, will update first post to reflect that. I 'll see if I can get it running on Eclair.

I'm using an Xperia X10, I suspected that it would be due to OS compatibility.
That's why I asked in my first reply.

OK, for some reason the app seems top have changed my wireless security on the phone to WPA instead of WEP, so the phone was trying to connect with the wrong security protocol.
Managed to sort that out pretty easily once I knew what was wrong.
I still had terrible problems with FCing apps so resorted to reflashing my rom.
I'm going to give it another try and if I encounter any issues I'll let you know what happens and post a log.
OK, here is a little update.
Since I reflashed my rom and reinstalled the app it has worked fine.
Only 1 minor bug but it wan't a problem.
On a few occasions when I used it yesterday, rather than opening the app GUI when pressed, it took me straight to the android wifi configuration page.
It only happened on a few occasions and hasn't happened at all today but I thought that you should know. Didn't bother me but someone will surely have issues with it.
Anyway, thanks for a great addition to my Desire S

Good to hear your Rom is working correctly again.
For the error you got: Did you start the app via search key? I could imagine since the desire s has no hardware buttons you accidently selected an unknown AP, immediately after the app started.
Would you be so kind and try and verify that?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
No, I have it on my home page so that if I need to change AP I just press my home button to get to it.
My wifi only picks up my 2 APs and none of my neighbours so no chance of selecting an unknown AP.
As I said it only happened a few times and hasn't happened since. It's working great now.
I don't know if, because I let my phone fully discharge yesterday after it happened, that it may have reset the app. A sort of reboot.
It has been working fine since though.
I've yet to try it with public wifi but should get a chance at the weekend so will post my results for you.

HELP, please. PHONE MAY BE TAPPED OR BUGGED

Im using a Verizon Samsung galaxy s3. Rooted. Unlocked bootloader. Stock Rom. Stock kernel. Not overclocked. Android ICS 4.0.4. SCH-I535
So Im sittin in my room and reached in pocket, pulled out phone, unlocked it expecting to see my home screen. Instead I see Google Maps running in the foreground showingme in my exact live location sittin my house. It wasnt just the stationary arrow, it moved it circles as I did. So I pul down my status bar only to find my GPS showing off. Then I went to my location services in my settings menu and it showed all three checked off as well. So I then go back to GMaps thinking that Allow Locations was on in the app and as well that was off....
At this point I didnt like what was going on so I opened up my fake GPS location spoof and spoofed my location to just down the street in a middle of a wash, just incase if there is anyone trying to spy my spot Im atleast going to send him on a goose hunt until I figure this thing out. GMaps verified tjat I was spoofed but still was a live track of me.
By this point I was was like hmmm.... So I opened up my Permission Explorer app and checked which apps have access to my location. None of em seemed out of the ordinary other than this app I downloaded the other night that could have been "suspicious" called space junk pro. So I then went to titanium backup pro and froze this app and still Im being shown a live feed of my location in Google Maps.
Im the type of person who strongly believes my freedom in privacy, especially with cell phones, and have never ran across this problem. Some people may call me a "conspiracy nut" but in fact I just want to find the truths about things.
Everything is basically turned off except my WiFi and my data. That means blue tooth, nfc, dlna, WiFi direct n all that good stufg.
Can anyone help me??? Do you think Im possibly being bugged or tapped?
GPS is obviously on because Im still spoofing my location.
I dont want to turn off the phone just yet because if it is a malicious program, it may turn on when the phone turns on but just be undetected.
Ill be sittin by my phone refreshing every few minutes or so in hope that one ya fine folks could be so kind and gracious to help. Thank you a lot in advanced.
It's just an app that is accessing gmaps. My phone does the same on wake up from sleep.
If you really are that paranoid you will have to remove each app one by one to find out what is accessing gmaps.
And if the one in a million chance "they" are tracking you what will "they" find? And do you think anything you could do would truely stop it? Think again; being paranoid is not worth the time.

I think you may accidentally touch and launch the map app. If someone is tracking you, they don't need to open a map app, all you should see is the gps icon on the top of your phone. Just close the map app and if an app is some how triggered the map app should re open the map app. Most gps required apps don't need to open the map app, just the GPS.
Someone's a little high...
But yeah, just an app that uses your location
Thank you for the replies.
I killed all apps, cleared ram. Opened GMaps again and then that GPS dot started flashing in my notification bar and so I quickly pulled down my status bar to see if GPS in the toggle was on and it wasnt, so I slid the status bar back closed and then my live location came up again. With no indication in the status of it veing on.
I believe there is a "them" out there and its not like they dont know where I live. I live in an area tjat has been around since the 70's for witness protection. I live in the same small town of the most notorious sherrif in the US. Thats besides the point though.
What Im trying to say is that my GPS is obviously running in the background at all times and I dont like it. Its showing me everything off, so if GMaps can access my live location when Im telling it no then something is wrong.
Im just lookin for some help. Thank you again.
Try a reboot?

Have you tried putting the phone in airplane mode??
I get followed by people I have no idea what organization they are about and what they do is follow you around and keep tabs on you. Its called gang stalking. And if anyone of ya are interesred in the bible its been prophesised and talked about in the book of Enoch and Isiah 14. They are called the "watchers" or "nephilim"
And I think these dang watchers are running my GPS in the background and if any one knows of a way I could "freeze" my GPS or something, like frrezing an aop in titanium backup I would be grateful...
Cool story bro

I believe there is a "them" out there and its not like they dont know where I live. I live in an area tjat has been around since the 70's for witness protection. I live in the same small town of the most notorious sherrif in the US. Thats besides the point though.
What Im trying to say is that my GPS is obviously running in the background at all times and I dont like it. Its showing me everything off, so if GMaps can access my live location when Im telling it no then something is wrong.
Im just lookin for some help. Thank you again.

Okay seriously? You are on xda. If you are really THAT paranoid revert to a stock ROM and don't install apps that aren't needed. There is almost NO way "they" can still have the bug in your system if you wipe EVERYTHING. Sorry if I am coming off mean but you posted your question in the development section when your problem isn't even close to development related. You should have just waited for more people to reply rather than to go pissing people off like me. Again I am sorry if you I am coming off mean but it really wasn't necessary.
"Everything is basically turned off except my WiFi and my data"
WiFi gives away your location
Thanks, I think its a cool story too haha..... wise guy
Just did a reboot. Everything is still off. Opened GMaps, same thing again. Live location.
I figure airplane mode would solve it sInce it stops all radio transmission, but I cant keep my phone like that cuz I wont get any calls.
Should I just spoof my location Everytime I leave my house... cuz Ive looked in the past to find ways to freeze my GPS but couldnt find anyway. And Im nervous to freeze it in titanium because its a system app and could permantly do something. I have a nandroid but I dont wanna have to restore my nandroid if I use my GPS like 2 months feom now, losing two months of stuff on my phone.
Just turned off WiFi and tested it.
Now GMaps shows my live location with like a 5 mile radius of blue surrounding me. Lol.
Wtf. This shouldnt be happening, right?
Well look here Mr trizkl. I thought XDA is supposed to be courteous as this is a community. Im honestly not trying to piss any one off, ive been coming to this site for years and I know a lot of people are geniuses on here, so I figured someone could help. Ive been very polite this whole time while my phone is frustrating me.
Honestly, you could tell people to just factory reset on about 75% of the problems on this site, but the whole point is that Im trying to solve it without having to go to that extreme.
In my eyes, the GPS is always running in my background and there is no indication why it should be doing this.
To the rest of the folks, I apologize if Im getting you upset in any manner, its honestly not in any intentions to do so.
With wifi it has a better lock than with data. There are no "watchers" searching for you. That would be ridiculous.

You Are fuking crazy
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
True.
So just through my data, with permissions off and GPS off, GMaps never in the past had the ability to show live location.
It gives a general location.

Just clear data for the Maps app in Application Manager. Your current location is probably stored in cache from your last GPS lock.

[Q] MTK GPS and EPO solution

I wonder when someone will ever find a real solid solution to the MTK GPS issues.
I think i have tried any possible solution out there. I went over any possible internet forum and site. Really.
I have EPO enabled with automatic download. I have AGPS enabled. I used FasterGPS, GPS test, GPS status and all other kinds of similar applications. I have rooted my device, tried endless settings in the gps.conf file, etc
I have Star N9500 device.
Its not that i do not have a GPS reception. I do !!!!
And i can also use maps navigation quite well !!!
The only problem is that in order to get a fix on satellites in a reasonable time i always have to go into engineering mode -> YGPS -> Information and download full EPO. Only by doing that, i can get a normal TTFF time and get back to the navigation application. Otherwise, the navigation application (like Waze) never succeed to get a fix by its own (at least not before 10 minutes are past).
I have noticed that in engineering mode->Location Based Service->EPO there is a parameter called "Update Period Setting". Its default value is set to 21600 minutes. I don't know if it is relevant, but i tried to set it to lower value like 360 minutes, but it keeps on returning to the default after restart the device. Does someone know how to make the value permanent? Is it relevant at all?
HELP please. I am starting to give up
Thanks
Anyone. Please help

Still no luck with GPS in a116 CHD
First of all, thanks for the link. Tried all possible solutions suggested here. Still GPS in my CHD A116 is not fixing. It never got fixed in my phone. using the phone for more than 6 months. Installed 4.2.1 Stock ROM, Canvas 4 ROM and now this Turbo ROM.
Tried MTK Tools > Engineer Mode...tried EPO download, Faster GPS app, editing the gpsconfig file...etc., no luck yet ...
I am happy for the people it is working... Shall I reflash the ROM and try??? Is it an option???
Or Is there any patch for GPS fix issue? Will try to upload few screenshots of whatever I tried soon.
Dev's pls help.

Hi,
I own a B94m phone with mtk6589. I get pretty fast fixes by clearing AGPS data by gps test app. My problem is that navigation apps get a "jumping" position between correct location and some meters aside, recalculating the routes very often...
Sometime Waze seems to work properly, sometime it doesn't.
Google maps navigation never works correctly.
Someone suggests Sygic, but I don't wanna pay for it...

Here is the fix :
What you need is Mobileuncle mtk tools, root explorer, gps test download them from play store.
THIS SHOULD BE DONE OUTDOORS.
1. Turn GPS off on your phone.
2. Open Root Explorer and find the mtkgps.dat file in /data or /data/misc
3. Delete mtkgps.dat
4. Reboot phone
5. Open Mobileuncle Tools
6. Tap on 'Engineer Mode'
7. Tap on 'Engineer Mode (MTK)'
8. Scroll across to 'Location'
9. Tap on 'Location Based Service'
10. Tap on 'AGPS' and then make sure 'A-GPS On/Off' is checked
11. Tap on 'EPO' and then make sure 'Enable EPO' is checked
12. Swipe down (notification bar) and turn GPS on
13. Hit back and then tap 'YGPS'
14. Wait until you get position lock (mine took about 6 seconds).
15. This process should create a new mtkgps.dat file.
16. Hit home button and open GPS Test.
17. You should get a position lock reasonably quickly.
This works fine for me . You can enable or disable agps and epo in settings it does not matter but after this fix your gps should lock under 20 seconds.
Worked perfectly !

Ulefone T1
Hi! I really hope that someone see this Post.
I have problems with my GPS from my ulefone t1. The typical problems: no fix or max. 4-5 fixes and fixes are lost at any few meters and jumping from road to road. I really tried anything, any app, EPO Update, agps update and optimized GPS.conf for Germany. Sometimes it was bit better but not much.
State Now: ulefone t1 with Android 7.0. I had no GPS.conf file in system/etc. I don't know why. Now I
I have a optimzed GPS.conf copied.
In Data/misc/GPS there I found epo files and I update these and there I found mtkgps.data too.
After that I made the tutorial of this post and after I start GPS I had 20 fixes in ygps!!!!
I tried to start my navigation and it works, but not for long time.
I don't know why but after few time or if I start navigation the GPS is bad like before.
I tried it several times and every time I delete mtkgps.data the GPS works perfectly! And sometimes if I start navigation directly after the procedure it works but if I restart the app, anything lost and Max. 4 fixes in ygps. What change my mtkgps.data???
How can I get my GPS stable. I don't want to make the procedure everytime I want to use GPS.
But: thank you, now I know it's not hardware because for short time it works perfectly, but only for short time...
Hope for help
Thank you!

I have a G930U so that option may be called a different name. The description says "Download large files faster by using wi-fi and LTE networks at the same time." Sounds a lot like what you're calling "smart switch". I leave it off, but just turned it on and it shows a LTE icon above the wi-fi signal icon. The LTE is grayed out but constantly visible. It may light up when in use. It doesn't flicker though, so probably not your issue.

Yeah I've turned off about any extra service I can find other than just wifi and data. I rebooted and it's fine right now, but I guarantee the issue will return a little later today until I reboot again. Battery drain and "cell standby" drain is definitely higher while the flicker is occurring.

Perhaps an app that bypasses wi-fi? Hate to suggest disabling one by one, but don't know how else to pin it down. Is there an app that shows resource use by app? Extra battery drain would definitely be aggravating.

I don't have any unusual apps. I really think it's the OS but I can't nail down specifically what service. Highest use is the system. But while the issue is active, Cell Standby becomes a higher drain. Is it possible one of the bloatware services I disabled could cause the issue? The guy in the Reddit thread suggested turning off Aggressive Doze in Greenify, so I'll give that a try first.
GSAM Battery Monitor provides a per-app breakdown:

Could it be due to something you disabled? Perhaps. You could try enabling everything again and see if that solves it. Since my phone doesn't have the issue it's probably not a generic Samsung OS issue, but might be due to something AT&T did. Keep us posted.

Yeah, the only other people I've heard with this issue at AT&T customers. Good that it's probably not a generic OS problem, but bad because that limits the pool of people who might have the same issue, fix it, and share the fix
I will post an update here in a day or two.

How not to connect to network

How do I set the phone to NOT connect to a network unless I need to?
Now it connects to that network automatically.
I [edit] do not want to "forget" the network. I do not want not switch off the network. I must leave ON the phone's network radio.
-----------------
I installed a video dashcam recorder in my car and it broadcasts a network (cannot be switched off) that SOMETIMES I need to access to setup, configure, view recorded videos, etc.. This network does not access the internet.
When I drive I need my phone's DATA connection to access the internet (WhatsApp, etc.) and I need my phone's network radio to be on to help google maps and other apps locate my position.
If I leave my phone's radio on, my phone connects to my dashcam network and cannot access internet blocking WhatsApp and other apps.
Can anyone help me, pls? I thank in advance your time/expertise.

Would resetting the Network Settings help?
Settings-> System-> Reset-> Network Reset
So it ends up clearing all saved Wifi networks. Sounds like your Saved List might be corrupt. You should always be able to "forget" a network

I apologize. I did not explain clearly and I will edit my post.
I do not WANT to forget the network because I want to use it sometimes to accesses a device (but this device does not access internet).
When I don't need to access the device I prefer to connect to the internet and, therefore, I need to use the phone carrier data plan. But to improve google maps I also need to keep the WiFi radio on.

For that, you don't actually need WiFi on - Location services has access to the wifi radio for scanning assuming you haven't disabled that in location settings.

Yes, exactly. That is why I don't want to turn off or disable the WiFi radio.
So, if I don't disable the WiFi radio, how do I set the phone to only connect to that network when I need and not automatically? How do I set it up in such s way that when I step into the car it does not connect automatically to that network (that has no intent access)?

Turn off wifi in settings or with the quick toggle. Make sure scanning is enabled under settings / security & location (or the equivalent in EMUI, I don't remember where it is as I've only run EMUI momentarily over the past several months).
The radio itself will not be completely powered down - it'll still be available for location services to use for scanning.

I was not aware that google maps will not be affected by toggling off WiFi. Thank you for taking your time to help me.
While it's good news that I can google off Wi-Fi for google maps, I keep forgetting my Wi-Fi on (I have the habit to keep it on at all times) so I keep loosing all WhatsApp/Viber messages and calls.
So is there absolutely no way to NOT connect automatically to a network if the radio is ON?

I'm not sure there's a way to say that... Most of the time, personally, I end up turning wifi off, as it's a real pain when you're moving through access points (and the device insists on holding the connection), so unless I know I'm going to have a stable connection and I'm staying in the same place for a while, I almost universally leave it off...

This app will not install on android 8.0 because it's an unknown source.
I then googled now to install unknown sources but my Huawei Mate 9 has different menu options from all googled step by step explanations how to install apps from unknown sources. Huawei Mate 9 android 8.0 lacks the bottom box "special access"
I attach 2 images of the 2 stumbling blocks.
Can you suggest a different Apk or how to install apps from unknown sources?

Try a WiFi prioritising software... And give lowest priority to the one you don't want to use. Had one of those with kitkat and worked flawlessly

First of all thank you for the advice add time.
I installed 3 different prioritizing apps but none had the option to prioritize data connection over WiFi or the option to exclude a specific network when the phone WiFi radio is ON.

Thank you! Looks like this app has the option that I need!
It's been scanning for networks for 10 minutes already (preferred WiFi Networks is still scanning) but I guess that the first time it takes a bit longer. As soon as it's ready I will test it!

The app keeps scanning for preferred WiFi Networks endlessly. I wrote to tech support and they will compile a specific code for my Huawei Mate 9 running Android 8.0. Apparently WiFi Switcher does not run on my device!
