Hello,
I'm having an issue with my new XTouch, the problem is that every time I lock the screen and it remains locked for more than a couple seconds, the wifi deactivates. In wifi settings - advanced I've set "always". In battery settings I've tried enabling or disabling the smart consumption but nothing changes. I got no apps for battery management. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hello there,
got an annoying issue with my brand new Infinity. Simply it stays in permanent wake lock (indicated by baterry info graph in settings). As an obvious result battery life sux.
Tried factory reset and the problem persists even without any non stock apps installed.
Will be very grateful for any ideas.

Does it still stay in wake lock if you disable Wi-Fi?

Hello,
The problem seems to be caused by Google Maps. After a little bit on/off attempts with Latitude (which were supposed to be off) I managed to remove that wake lock, now Maps remain no.1 in battery consumption due to preventing WiFi sleep policy but at least wake lock is gone.
Ok, I have a Nexus 7, and I have successfully managed to start Car Home Ultra, wifi and bt when the powercable is connected.
But what I don't manage are to do this:
- when power is disconnected wait 10 min and than shutdown the tablet.
- exception: If power is restored within this time, do not turn off the tablet
can someone tel me how to do this?
PS: step by step, I have never used tasker
seems like this worked:

yepp:
This config worked (see screenshot)
task->Power->Any Off
1. Wait: 10 Min
2. Reboot: Shutdown If AIR (Airplanemode) is on
This works because I use Timur's Kernel, and that kernel will automatically turn on airplanemode when going to deepsleep (when powercable is disconnected)
Yes i also have timur's rom But what happen If after 5 minutes u plug power? I mean :u go To take bread then u off car, And after 5 minutes u return To car and on car. The task go To block, or continue and after 10 minutes (started when u off car) shutdown tablet? I hope u understand what i mean

Right after 10 minutes check if airplane mode is on then shutdown or not...

If I turn of the car for 5 min it will go to deepsleep and then wake up when I turn on the car, the tablet will then be on and don't shutdown after the 10 min.
So you can say ut "block" the shutdown countdown when the power is on, this is because tasker checks if the flightmode is on.
flightmode on after 10 mins: Shutdown
flightmode off after 10 mins: nothing happens
Also: If you want to do this like me you should also see my other thread about autostart og power: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2756771
Thanks But for now i have not Fix installation so i no need The autostart mode, But i like that thing

Me neither, I just don't like to click the button
Haha you lazy guy you!
I do have the Nexus 7 fixed in my dash and want to accomplish this.
My Tasker profile is set to State -> Power Source AC.
The tasks include turning off airplane mode and launching a couple apps.
The exit tasks are to enable airplane mode and battery saver (and Greenify apps but that's old stuff), then shutdown the tablet. If I change it to include the "IF %AIR ~ on", it won't really work because the task will sit there for 15 minutes no matter what, then check for airplane mode and shutdown if it's in airplane mode. However, it will ALWAYS be in airplane mode because no other task or application has taken it out of airplane mode.
So I think I need two Profiles set to State, where one profile just checks for power source AC and launches my stuff, but with ZERO exit tasks.
Then I'll have another Profile also set to State of NO power source, that will constantly run on loop and shut down my tablet if there is no power source after 10 minutes of wait.
I think this will work because both profiles will be running at the same time, thus the "exit tasks" won't be needed, and the exit tasks are the barrier to my solution.
Hi everyone. I'm experiencing problems with the auto brightness, I set it at half but it often gets much brighter for a couple of seconds then scales down to where I put it. After a while back over again. This happens in the same exact position and low light condition. Doesn't happen with higher brightness demands. Tried to toggle off every screen auto feature (like ambient display,...) but nothing changes. Tried adjusting both auto level and non-auto level, thought it might conflict, but all to no avail. Got any clues? Thanx

My phone for overnight often lost 14-20% of the battery, when I restarted the phone this problem was fixed in 1 night, the following nights were like that. How to fix this problem?
What fixed if for me was to disable a lot of the default apps added to the phone through adb. I was trying everything and that was what solved it. I am not entirely sure which apps (have the list at home on my pc) but in general anything that is not stock android and just added by HTC (like Alexa)

Didn't have this issue, battery life remains the same as with Oreo for me. I'm losing 1 or 2% battery life on one night!
Has anynone noticed on his/hers Xperia 5 II that the screen doesn't want to auto rotate every time you rotate the phone?
I have enabled it in display settings/quick actions but it doesn't want to work every time. It even sometimes freezes in one position (be it portrait or landscape) and it won't leave that position no matter how you turn the phone. I have also checked my accelerometer in factory tests and it works fine.
Same to me.
Sometimes the problem is the time that it takes to rotate.
I checked that a restart fix it.
Seems to be a software issue.

Yes, it happens sometimes, obviously a software problem.
