i downloaded todays build which i recieved thru ota .. i updated it but got struck on 99% my phn aint rooted
try the official support!
Woke up to this on my phone this morning. Is it worth updating and does it bring any harm to chances of rooting?
allways worth updating.
i updated yesterday and used cf autoroot today first time. works.
Did you by any chance catch the update?
Because when you're rooted you can't update the official way anymore.
As i said before - read again:
Updated yesterday - rooted today.
Just checked mine now, the update appeared. Installing now.
Hi
I have standard Pixel 2 with Magisk installed (for thethering restrictions bypass). I finally got around to getting OTA from July to August one. So got Android 9. I followed the OTA update guide for Magisk. Everything got installed, but now it keeps saying my phone is up to date. Even thought it's still on August Security patch. Anyone else experienced this?
I can just download rest of the patches manually and side load, but I rather avoid doing it.
Thanks
Were you on the beta update program for P. If so have you opted out? I had to opt out before I got this month's update. Didn't realise you had to do this.
Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Nope. Just getting everything through OTA.
Yeah the same thing happened to me

The same with me. And I had to put back a backup, because I got a problem with Magisk. So I will not install this December update.
(I rather would like to see some form of Lineage on our phone, to get rid of all kinds of apps I do not want to install on my phone.)

Hi, I thought you were right. But actually there *is* a new 1 feb update that I already put on my phone. The phone will not recceive it ota, but you can install it using ODIN. Sammobile.com is a good source. I downloaded the Dutch version from there (I had another good source to check for the correct file) Sammobile is horrifyingly slow though.... You will need a couple of hours to download. And in fact it took me several hours too to get my phone back in order.
My A7 stuck on Samsung logo screen after updating to Android 9 Pie, any fix ?

I see you updated the OP. As per below, expected April patches. I don't know if they ever "fixed" the problem of 8314's disconnecting from Verizon, but since the update before the last one, I can at least reconnect with a restart or sometimes just toggling airplane mode. That's better than before, which required a factory reset.
got the april patches this morning, firmware is now 52.0.A.8.25
