You have now 4.4/5.0/6.0?
If U want upgrade from 4.4 to 6.0 you must use RUU from 5.0, and update soft with OTA to 6.0 because actually i don't see anywhere RUU of 6.0.

It's working. Stock is the best
Now deodex and unlock system partition and this is all what i need

Help! Help! Urgent!

i was going to unroot my phone which i have followed this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173931. However, i am stuck with the error 43 which saying that "Your device is S-ON & you are trying to use an RUU that has software number less than your current software number." And now, i am unable to access to the recovery, nor any rom. I think it is because i have relocked my bootloader through all the unrooting process. Any solution for me to reopen my phone or something? really have no idea...
I also always get error 43 now i did flash to custom rom

So, do you know how to solve the question?if I flash a custom rom that is lower than the ruu software number, can it solve the problem. And, can ruu be flashed on butterfly without unrooting it? So that, i can unroot it after I flashed the ruu rom.

Feel sorry to ask you some questions again because I am still new to these kind of stuffs. As for the stock recovery, I did something about recovery which was twrp recovery. According to your guide, does that mean I am required to flash this stock recovery via fast boot, and extract the backup file. Then, flash the boot.img via fast boot. After that, I can pull the plug out, and install the backup zip file. Is it?? Btw, appreciate your help really much.
No, you install the nandroid backup with TWRP or CWM, the boot.img included in fastboot mode and the original recovery after.

Hi guys...Im all out of ideas, and I don't know where else to turn. I know I was supposed to look every where, and even ask my mother..but that only would have gotten me chancla slapped. Anyway...Here is the issue: I bought an HTC Butterfly clone. I have looked high and low, for ways to root it, but I cant seem to find something that will even remotely work! The mass storage option is greyed out, so I can't connect it to my pc. I cant boot in bootloader mode, I have tried this since about 5:30 pm today, and Ive yet to see the bootloader mode come up. I have rooted phones before, but this time I am TOTALLY stumped! This cell is a dual sim quad core version. Here are the details (as much as I can give you any way): PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME ROOT!
MODEL:I900
ANDROID VERSION: 4.1.1
BASEBAND VERSION: MTK6589 (Quad Core)
KERNERL VERSION: 2.6.35.7 [email protected] #3
SOFTWARE VERSION: X920e_v1
HARDWARE VERSION: 1.1.0
And, I dont know if this info helps any..but, In the keyboard settings, I see komoxo input method? Geez, at this point anything may be it!
Thank you so much for your help, and once again, I apologize for posting on this thread, but I did not find where else to post..

Don't worry it's not a big deal. first is it X920D or X920E ?
you can repeat the process again and if you get the same results then the rom is corrupted or not compatible at some point, thus you have to find another one.
can you tell me your JellyBean version and HBoot version where you find it at main Bootloader screen.

Well. As I mentioned to you repeat the process and see if you get the same results then try to use this rom it's JB 4.3 it's working as well and very cool i'm using it on my X920D device.
Go here:

the second post - first link up: to download from that website click on the ad first then go back to the page and enter the verification code and then click the blue button on the right of the orange one
then after installtion complete reboot and your JB 4.3 should work as well.
Thanks

Oh it worked with me as well, from ADB it didn't work with me but within the teamwin it has been installed straightforward without any problem.
Well if you can wait, I will try to make a backup from TW and upload it to my google drive. and you can use it by restoring it using teamwin for sure after wiping your system to avoid overwriting.
this will be nice

Recovery and H-Boot

Hello, first of all I'm a super newbie on this A have a bunch of questions.
-I tried to root my HTC evo 3d 3 or 4 days ago and i did it without any issues. Then installed Cyanogen Mod 10.4 (jellybean) on my device. Now i want to update it to Cyanogen Mod 11. Does it woth it? or should I stay in my current version.
-I read the threat about Cyanogen Mod 11, it seems i need to install TWRP first, my current recovery mod is ClockworkMod v6.0.0.0. Is there anything else before i install TWRP or can I just downlaod it and then install like Clockwork?

Did you flash your recovery via fastboot? Easiest way to flash TWRP 2.7 will be using "flashify" from the play store. it has got a built in feature to download the right recovery for your phone, and automatically flash it after download
May be you just read the (whole) thread about your suggested rom before installing it "blind"

If that doesn't work its getting a little complicated. Means you have to install a <4.4 rom and install 4ext updater (installs 4ext recovery) from plystore and then you ca install >4.4.
Updating HBOOT will not help!

Hi Guys,
i have the E8 single sim middle east version and i had a problem with the encryption feature after enabling i accidentally tried to reset the device before decrypting and of course it messed up everything and after 6 hours of researching i managed to decrypt the phone after i installed the TWRP recovery but i failed locate the stock recovery for my model so i can perform a master reset so i'm only able to reset through customer recovery and i'm S-ON but unlocked bootloader and i failed to find the shipped RUU file as if the device doesn't exist on the internet...
so now i only need the stock recovery to flash it and reset the phone because i want to sell it and i already tried the freaken HTC support and they suck they didn't even understand what i'm talking about
HELP PLEASE :eek

Please describe Model so that it's easy to find. Ask any user with same model, they can help you. See at the back of phone. I think your phone should be M8sb product-mec_dugl. Ask for RUU from HTC Support (US).
Good Luck
Thank you for the info
i think you got it right, the thing is that i used to be rooted but for some stupid reason i flashed a wrong recovery version so every time i try to reset factory settings it restarts and then goes to the boot menu with the word tampered beneath relocked so i'm not sure how to fix that but i think i may need the boot image or recovery to fix that.
i hope anyone can help

You just need to unlock the bootloader again and flash a proper recovery for your phone. Though, as far as I know, unlocking the bootloader also wipes your data, which requires a working recovery.
You will surely need an RUU for your phone. What does it show as your CID and software version on the boot loader screen (under the TAMPERED flag,e tc.)?

Extracted them from the B383 update.
But im wondering why there are 2 Recovery files, both are the same size but they give back different md5hash sum, that mean that there is something different about them.
But here you are:

I got an issue with an P9 [EVA l_09] after upgrading from latest Marshmallow C432 single SIM to Nougat via SD Card update.app and restart. I did similar updates on 5-10 different devices w/o an issue.
Fist part went fine, but with the second [HW_init] it went into this:
http://www.derjackistweg.de/img_20170601_142722_resized_20170601_022749113
I was not able to flash ANY different update.app after that via SD card [weather Marshmallow 1rst or later version]
The device is stock - NO change in Bootloader
I do not have any recovery from before or whatever.
I do want to use this device in whatever Firmware!
PS: I cannot post by myself. Though my account is 11 (!) years old - I am not experienced enough Back in the day I had more posts of course, XDA made changes over the years.
