Hello. I have been working on this kik for awhile from now. Our mod is based on Pikek with some extra features.
All the info about Day will be down below:
Scroll to very bottom for download link
Complete list of features:
APPEARANCE
Square Pictures - This makes the profile pictures square instead of round.
Marquee Names - If the name of a user or group is long enough, the name will scroll.
Hide Dividers - Chat Dividers will be hidden from the main conversations screen.
Custom Hint - Changes the text that appears in the text input on a chat screen.
Text Size - Changes the font size of the chat. Note: it doesn't adjust the bubble size very well.
Text Font - Changes the font of the chat.
Bubble Opacity - Changes how visible the chat bubble is.
Incoming Shape - Changes the shape of the chat bubble for messages you receive.
Outgoing Shape - Changes the shape of the chat bubble for messages you send.
Incoming Bubble Color - Changes the color of the chat bubble for messages you receive.
Outgoing Bubble Color - This is just a shortcut to the Outgoing Bubble Color settings already in Kik.
Incoming Text Color - Changes the color of the text for messages you receive.
Outgoing Text Color - Changes the color of the text for messages you send.
THEME
Theme Color - Changes the main color of the App.
Theme Hex - Enter a custom Hex Color to use as the app's main color.
Light Hex - Switches a custom theme's text color to black.
Enable Hex - Enables a custom theme based on what is entered in Theme Hex.
Note: Devices on Lollipop or higher may experience a bug on the conversations screen. If this occurs, turn off 'Enable Hex' then set the theme color to 'Clear.'
BACKGROUND
Background Image - Allows for a custom background to be applied via gallery.
Enable Background - Enables the selected Custom background.
MEDIA
Fake Camera - This will make pictures you send from the gallery appear as if you took them with the camera. Note: The auto send bug from Pikik is fixed!
No Save - When someone receives media (image or video) from you, the option to save it will be disabled.
Auto Loop - When someone receives a video from you, it will automatically repeat (start from the beginning again after the video is over).
Auto Mute - When someone receives a video from you, it will be muted by default. Note: They can still unmute the video if they choose to.
Auto Play - When someone receives media a video from you, it will start playing automatically. Note: They can still disable this by going to Settings -> Chat Settings -> Auto Play Videos.
No Forward - When someone receives media (image or video) from you, the option to forward it will be disabled. Note: They can still save it (unless No Save is enabled) and send it to another group.
TIMESTAMPS
All Timestamps - This will show a timestamp above every message (including join/leave messages).
Exact Timestamps - This show the exact time instead of approximations such as "a minute ago."
Past Timestamps - This option is just for fun. It will make your messages appear to have been sent on December 31st, 1969. Note: It may push your chat to the bottom of the receivers conversation list.
PER-CHAT
Global Settings - Pikek has the ability to change read receipts and typing notifications per-chat. This means that you can make one chat (PM or group) see S-check (sent receipts) and another chat will not. This option applies the next two options to all chats regardless. To access the per-chat options, disable this option and go to the chat information screen for the chat you want to configure.
Disable Typing - When you type it will not say "XYZ is typing..."
Read Receipts - Normal: the other person will see when you read (R) their message. This is the default behaviour for Kik Messenger. Delievered: They will know their message was delievered (D) to your device. This would normally mean your device has received their message but you haven't opened it yet. Stealth: the other person will see that their message was sent (S) to Kik. This would normally mean your device is not turned on, connected to the Internet, you are signed out, or otherwise not able to receive messages.
YOUR ACCOUNT
Save Pikek Settings - All Settings will not be wiped when logging out of Kik.
Save Per-Chat - This will save all per-chat options and they will persist through resets. This is useful for switching accounts periodically and maintaining your per-chat settings.
BATCH OPTIONS
On the conversation list screen there is an icon to left of the Kik Browser icon (on the top right), pressing this will bring up the following four actions:
Clear all chats - This will permanently delete all messages from all chats including private messages. Note: This does nothing to New Chats. If you click the New Chats bar at the bottom, there will be a recycle bin icon at the top right. Pressing that icon will remove all new chats.
Mute all chats - This will mute (forever) all chats. Note: This does nothing to New Chats.
Unmute all chats - This will unmute all chats. Note: This does nothing to New Chats.
Mark all read - This will remove the blue dot on all chats, indicating there is no unread messages. Note: This does nothing to New Chats. Bug: Force closing after using this option will make it only temporary and the unread status will return upon reopening Pikek. This does NOT send any read receipt (S, D, R) to the chats.
LONG PRESS CONVO
Clear - This will permanently delete all messages in this chat.
Save - This will save a transcript to your SD card or internal storage. When you use this option a toast will come up telling you the file path and file name. Note: The file name is the timestamp when the transcript was saved and "_TRANSCRIPT.txt"
IN CHAT
Pi icon (top right) - This is just a shortcut to the Pikek settings.
Long Press Message (Reply) - this copies the message to the input text box and adds two new lines.
Long Press Message (Kick) - This will kick the user from the group. Note: this option only shows up if the user is able to be kicked by you.
Long Press Message (Ban) - This will ban the user from the group. Note: this option only shows up if the user is able to be banned by you.
Chat Info - If Global Settings are disabled, an option to toggle typing notifications and your preferred read receipt will appear.
COMMANDS
!commands - This will list available commands.
!comhelp - This will provide usage instructions on custom commands.
!bothelp - This will provide usage instructions on using Kik Bots.
!c - This will change the ASCII text after the "!c " into Regional Indicator Symbols. This is just for fun.
!purge - This will remove all possible users from a group very quickly.
!unban - This will clear the ban list in a group provided you're an admin.
OTHER
No Pull - Normally in the conversation list pulling down from the top will open your camera so that you can scan a Kik Code. This option disables that. Note: You can still use Kik Codes while this is enabled.
Open Tray - Normally after inserting one smiley, the tray closes. This keeps the tray open so that you can add more than one smiley at a time in less time.
Anti Loggers - It is possible to get your IP Address logged by receiving and clicking a carefully crafted Kik Card. This option prevents that as the expense of not being able to open legitimate Kik Cards.
Enable Links - Often times other users will send malicious URLs. This option will prevent you from accidentally clicking one. Further, there can be issues with some URLs making Kik lag and crash. This will not happen if this option is not checked.
Use Browser - Any parsed links will not be opened through Kik's browser, but instead through your device's default web browser.
Privacy Mode - This will make the preview on the conversation list screen always say "..." so that a shoulder-surfer won't have any idea what is going on in the other groups.
Do Not Disturb - Enabling this will leave any group you are added to. This is great for getting out of "Kik Jails" and leaving groups at night without worrying about being added back. Note: The groups where it says "Just You" is not a Pikek bug, that's a Kik bug.
TROLL
Auto Read - Overrides Global Settings and automatically sends Read Scripts to all users.
Auto Reply (BETA) - Every time you recieve a PM, a message is automatically sent back to the user. This message is currently not changeable.
Auto Meme (BETA) - Every time you recieve a PM, the sent message is automatically sent back to the user who sent it.
Auto Annoy (BETA) - Secret
EMOTIONS
Ghost Emoticons - This is just for fun. Clicking this will add the standard set of smileys to the options but they are gray instead of yellow. Note: clicking it more than once will add the ghost smileys to the options more than once. You can get rid of them by opening the smiley shop (the + symbol in the smiley tray).
All Emoticons - Sometimes a user will lose the smileys they legitimately purchased with Kik Points and is left with no way to recover them. This option will unlock ALL smileys and is ONLY to be used by those who have previously purchased them legitimately with Kik Points. By using this option you agree that you have legitimately purchased ALL smileys with Kik Points and you take full responsibility of ALL consequences resulting from the use of this option.

There's no need to get triggered , I was obviously joking . Failure to determine authorship results in possible false positives so I decided to joke about it . I find it rather odd that providing a link for the apk file didn't make it evident that it was a joke.

It is amazing work. Unfortunately, Kik team keeps on patching the mods. Many times the Fake Camera option has been patched, but thanks to the amazing devs, we are able to keep the feature going.
On April 1st, 2017 timeframe they made it so modded kik clients cannot join public groups (the ones with hashtags), also they set put a rule, that newly joined members cannot send any media(pictures, videos, stickers, etc) for 24 hours after they join the group. Please look into this. Thanks
I love you guys, you make Kik a wonderful experience.

Thank you for your interest.
I think I hit a bug but I can't reproduce it, so I think it only happens if you install and don't go to the options. Basically, the mass SMS option added all the phone numbers from every contact, instead of just the primary ones. When I went to the options, I saw that the default option is to actually pick the primary one and is already checked. Then I went back and tried again and this time it was fine - only the primary numbers were selected. Any idea why this may be happening? Do you not initialize your options perhaps?

Thank you for your feedback. I have found the problem, because the code and configuration files using the default settings are different. I'm adding new features. Completed immediately after the update.
Just what an android needed!!! Good job man!
I *really* like this contact manager, it has almost all of the features that I've been dreaming of having since I left the iPhone.
I have two requests:
I have contacts in my Google Contacts, and they and the groups they are in are showing up just fine. I also have an Exchange account, and those contacts are showing up as well. However, the groups from the exchange account are not showing up. Is it possible for you to add them?
I usually look people up by their last name, but can't seem to find out how to do that in the application. Is there a way to sort contacts by their last name?
Thanks!

Hello Community,
Texts over 160 characters have always caused problems on the stock MMS app. They never successfully send. This was because the stock app relies on the network to have the ability to split texts longer than the 160 character limit and does not have the functionality to do it itself.
Until now...
For the past day or so I have been working on a solution to this problem. In the end, I have the stock Mms app modified to automatically split texts over 160 characters into separate texts. Basically, every time you send a text message, it checks to see if it's longer than 160 characters, and if it is, splits the message into separate 160 character texts.
Dialer Wake Lock: (thanks dfbonney)
If you look at this post here it would seem that the reason some users are having wake lock with the dialer may be due to the fact that a message over 160 characters was sent (and not properly split). If you are having dialer wake lock issues, please check out this app and see if by using it, your dialer wake lock issues go away. Please report with findings!
A special thanks to spiicytuna for helping me submit this to the CM git and getting it merged
To-Do:
Character / Message counter fix (UI) - make EVERY message 160 characters instead of telling you it will split at 145 characters while typing messages. (The first message count is OK, after that the app TELLS you it will split at 145, while in fact it splits at 160. This throws the counts off for the user. Does not impede functionality) (It still does this, but it now splits properly instead of at a fixed number. The counter displayed while typing counts strange)
Clean the code up a bit & send to CM gerrit CODE SUBMITTED
Add settings
Add message count to end of messages ex. (1/2), (2/2)
Add Blacklist option (Currently in development)
Split by word (low priority)
Bugs:
Message Counter resets to 145 characters after first message (It still does this, but it now splits properly instead of at a fixed number)
I need testers
To Install: (thanks jakejm79)
Use Root Explorer to copy Mms.apk to
/system/app/
(overwrote current apk)
Change the permissions to match the other apks
Delete:
/data/dalvik-cache/[email protected]@[email protected] (If this file doesn't exist, skip this step)
and this folder:
/data/data/com.android.mms
Reboot
Modified App Link: (Please click some ad links to support development/hosting)
Download Mirror - Latest - 0.0.4
This version also includes the ability to 'Always show character count' while typing and can be enabled in the 'Settings' under 'Extra Settings'. It is the latest version from the CM git.
Changelog:
Supports different kinds of encoding so it should be compatible with all networks. Splits are now handled by the android.telephone.SmsMessage package instead of internal.
Recoded everything to run more efficiently.
There is now an option under Settings called SMS Split. It's unchecked by default. If you want to enable message splitting at 160 characters, you must check the box!
There is now also an option to enable a message counter. SMS Split must be enabled for this option to be clicked.
Fixed a bug where very long messages would get cut off if message counter was enabled
if you want to revert, download the original app here
Good work!
When you get this working, PLEASE push it to CM's gerrit.
Works fantastically and without flaw. Pure epic sauce.

I know nothing of code but I'll test the crap out of it if you still need people.
Could you also add the option to blacklist? I use the stock Sprint VVM and I am plagued by the infamous text notification when a vm comes in. On top of that I am starting to get various text spam which is quite annoying. GREAT work so far; I am downloading now to test...

Personally I use google voice. However, I don't think it's a vm issue. I'm pretty sure the sprint vvm app relies on text messages as notification to know when there is a new voicemail. I believe the sense messaging app is programmed to ignore those texts and not notify or display them in the app. Anyway, it would be a good addition to CM.

No—it's how Sprint's VVM app works. On the stock (Sense) app you never see the text come in but the VVM app sees it and notifies of a new VM. In AOSP the text isn't hidden (blacklisted) so as the user, I get the text, Sprint VVM sees the text and notifies me of a new VM, and then I have to manually delete the text.

Yep. I thought my vvm was broken once and after 8 hours of sprint tech support the guy finally realized it was that I had installed call blocker and set it to block all calls and SMS that were not on my white list. He said vvm uses SMS to notify.

i owe you some money when i get older. Thank you for this so much
I just updated the OP with a version that has a Settings option called SMS Split. Can some people please download and test the setting enabled and disabled?
Thanks everyone!
Definitely going to check this out!
Sent 20 160+ character messages with option enabled ..20/20..
Disabled... hangs... true/false appears to be working great
I'm very glad to hear that everyone is having good results
UPDATE:
Added settings option to add a counter to the end of each message ex. (1/2), (2/2). That's one more to-do crossed off.
In times of Win mobile i used SMS Fix application, that was trying to find contact by phone number in incoming text.
I was missed it on android and so decided to develop the same app for it
Sms Name Fix is this application!
In the current version it has the following features:
1. When you receive a text message with phone number
app tries to find the contact in your phone book by this number and display the name in message's text when success.
2. When you touch phone number in any text Sms Name Fix allows you to dial or send message immediately instead of basic android behavior!
Any suggestions and comments will be very much appreciated!
You can download app from Android Market http://market.android.com/details?id=com.exi.ps.smsname
Nice, app works on my Ics rom 4.0.4

Great! I missing this one! It's very useful!
App seems to be very usefull.
I dont need function to add contact name in incoming text,
but the idea to extend basic android behavior with text and allow users to quick send message to unknown number is great.
I think that you can rename your app SMS Buns оr Simple SMS or something like that and add some more useful features like sending contact details via sms or email. That will be even more usefull for usual users cos they always use native firmwares.
What about small enhancements pack for Android?)

Thread for the Message Forwarder App. This is a good way to reach the developer with any questions, concerns, or feature requests you might have in mind.
What is Message Forwarder?
Message Forwarder allows to automatically forward incoming text (SMS) messages, multimedia (MMS) messages, and phone call notifications to any phone number or e-mail address of your choice. Just tell the app what kind of messages and calls to handle and where to send them to, and Message Forwarder will take care of everything from there.
- Specify phone numbers to filter the messages and phone calls by.
- Specify phone numbers or e-mail addresses to forward the messages and call notifications to.
- Set up thorough and flexible manipulation rules to automatically modify the content of the messages before being forwarded. Very useful for those coupling this app with automated systems that make use of keywords.
- Attach information of the original sender or caller on the forwarded message.
- View a history of the messages forwarded, along with all their attachments in the case of multimedia messages.
- Specify days of the week and times of the day in which messages and call notifications should not be forwarded. Very useful for those not interested in forwarding messages during off hours, like weekends or weeknights.
- And much, much more.
Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

PS: I am a satisfied user of the app, Just giving my inputs to the forum.
My Simple review: I am looking for an app that can forward selected SMS from (secondary)mobile to email and found this app.
Feedback:
The app is easy to setup with step by step screen, DEV had well thought the flow of the setup.
I don't find any unnecessary permissions that can misused.
Each time by watching the 10sec ad APP provides 170 quota to use the app. No need to pay upfront ($5 for onetime purchase)
Few options I like in the app:
Able to forward SMS/MMS/CALL LOG
We can forward from ALL/SELECTED contacts and have Single or Multiple Targets (email/phone)
Use of FILTERS/RULES & Scheduling.
Few requests/suggestions to DEV:
I feel the current permission request steps are confusing and user may miss few of them. It will be easy if app can request the required access step by step while setting up the app.
Provide section/option for required access if user missed granting while setting up the app.
Kudos to the app developer, appreciate the efforts. Thanks for sharing with members.

Out of all the permissions the app asks for, a few can be moved to earlier in the configuration process (Read SMS, Receive SMS, Receive MMS, Send SMS, Read Contacts, Read Call Logs). Some others must stay in the end because they are required regardless of what options the user picks during the configuration process (Ignore Battery Optimization). I do agree the experience could be improved if we move the ones we can. I'll take a stab at it soon.
The user does get an explanation of why each permission is needed, but only if they chose NOT to grant it in the past; as in... "I see you didn't grant XYZ permission when I asked for it. I still need it and here is why". I think we should leave it that way for simplicity. If we move the permission requests to their respective steps in the configuration process, it should be obvious to the user why that permission is being requested. If they reject it, then the app can start giving explanations why they are needed.
The app also notifies the user about missing permissions through a system notification when it cannot do something because of the lack of such permission. It also gives the user a reminder whenever they visit the app and a needed permission is still not granted. If the user misses any permissions, they find out sooner rather than later.
For now, I can at least move forward with the permission request relocation mentioned above. I'll let you know how that goes.
Great start! I upgraded to Premium but it is not taking the upgrade. What should I do?

Thanks for the quick response!
Excellent app.
But, a few caveats need to be filled quickly.
1. Provision for SIM selection of SMS forwarding (should be a part of each rule).
2. The developer has already implemented setting Sender ID quite nicely (inclusion/exclusion) on screen no. 4 of config.
- But, it lacks the ability to find partial matches. For example, I have been receiving messages from +4456874***, the last three digits can be dynamic. I want all these messages to be forwarded.
- Take another example. all SMS received from number containing ****8808** is to be forwarded.
- In short, please make provisions for matching Prefix, body, suffix of a sender ID.
3. SMS from custom sender IDs (sender ID that contains a text string, instead of numbers) was not forwarded.
- Example. I keep receiving "service messages" from UKING***, BRISRLY* etc.
- With the current version, its not possible to create a rule for forwarding these messages.
- Please implement partial matches (as described above) for custom sender IDs too.
It has been a wonderful effort already.
Big thanks to the developer.

Hi,
1- I've been planning on implementing dual SIM support, but unfortunately do not have a dual SIM device to test this on, and the Android emulator does not support it either. Would you like to volunteer to become an alpha-tester of this feature with your device?
2- I'll consider adding some sort of pattern matching for this. I first have to think how to make it user-friendly (not require knowledge of RegEx or anything like that).
3- You should be able to type in any kind of alphanumeric string in the contacts screen, and the app be able to handle it just fine. Are you saying that's what you did, but when a message came in, the app did not process it?

1. For Sure.
2. Take your time
3. Exact match works. any bit of deviation ruins it.

That's great! Could you send me a private message with your e-mail address? I will send you the alpha version of the app with the Dual-SIM feature when it's ready.
Hello there and thank you.
1. Is it possible to enable delivery report for sent messages?
2. In Dynamic Content config, I want to search for a specific keyword and if found, forward the message. If i leave the "replace" text empty, it will erase the keyword from message. It's good to have a checkbox to disable text replacement.

Hello there.
1. Delivery reports for SMS seem trivial. I'm not so sure about MMS though; I can't find any Android documentation for it. I'll have to look into it.
2. As far as the Dynamic Content, you can simply retype the keyword in the "replace" field. Essentially this translates to: find "my-keyword" and replace it with "my-keyword"; effectively leaving the message intact.
Regards.

Hi, the latest version (1.3.0) was just released and includes these features.
Older Version
I really like Message Forwarder and it has work perfectly for me. BUT my work phone is VERY old and the current version of Message Forwarder will not work. How can I get an older version that will work with Andriod 5.1?

Hi. I sent you a private message about this.
The app stops forwarding after 5 or 6 messages. Unfortunately this app is exactly what I have been looking for an I have not been able to find a replacement.

Hi. Do the failed messages appear in the app's Messages Screen? Are you forwarding to phone numbers or e-mails? If e-mails, what proxy account are you using? Outlook or Gmail?
Message Fowarder
I was forwarding to 2 email addresses and one texting/ phone app. When the messages did get forwarded they did show up on the message tab. If they were not forwarded they did not. I am using a Gmail proxy. I changed my configuration to only my Gmail account. Thank you for quick response I hope this is an easy issue to rectify.
