I currently have the Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920I and am interested in using the OS that is loaded onto the Huawei P9 plus. I have never done this before and am unsure if it is possible as I couldn't find anything online specifically saying it is possible to use another OEM's rom on your device.

I own a honor 6 H60-l02, and after download the official upgrade from huawei page (version 5.4.16) and unzip the content in the sdcard of my honor, I can’t run the upgrade because I have no local upgrade on my settings.

note 4 MM 6.0.1 is out now, and we have many note 3 MM port (i.e. darklord-note7) out there but such roms have bugs/incompatibilities/hardware-limitation (camera, not all modes working, nonetheless, it's a great rom)
note 4 on the other hand, i could say is the the most compatible rom than note 5 and note 7 (Talking about hardware comparison). So i think maybe if we port a note 4 MM (6.0.1) custom rom to the note 3, the bugs/hardware-limitation issues will be lessen, as for camera etc...
