Coming from a Galaxy S3, the only thing I miss about my old phone compared to Nexus 5 is the camera app / functions.
One feature in particular is the ability to pause the video recording and resume recording the same file. On Nexus5 I have to record numerous short videos and then stitch them to a final video. I gave Camera Awesome a try and it looks great for taking photos, but it doesn't have the pause video recording functionality.
Anybody tried a decent camera app that has this specific function ?
Anybody ?
This cannot be a Samsung only feature, I'm sure I have seen it on other phones
Google is working on a fix for the camera, I would just wait for that. It should be soon.

Thanks. I tried to install it and it fails. No error message, just says app not installed.
I downloaded this from other sources but still refuses to install
I do not see this in the OPO thread so I thought I would ask as I am searching for a good camera app.
What do you use? And what made you choose that?
Stock Cm11s Camera. Seems to take great quality pictures and I love the over aggressive HDR

I don't like clear image. Am I the only one?
I have a strange issue with My Opo.
Every third party app i use for take picture, every time i take a photo with flash, the picture has a line in the middle. Like two different brightness.
In sad because Snap Camera takes awesome picture.

Same here, with Lenovo app.
With Snap Camera, I find it difficult to use HDR. They come out really crappy. How do you deal with it?

I use stock cm11s. There's no solution.

It´s still working fine with 33R on your 1+1?
Camera Awesome
But something like Nokia Lumia Camera will be great
I use stock CM11S, very useful macro function and continous shooting.

One with Lenovo Super Camera on Mahdi ROM/CM11 and other on ColorOS OppoCamera. Can you guess what's what? And which one is better? Both are taken in normal mode!

Thats related to dual led flash, its a software problem
Friends,
As I read in many places Nougat supports Customising quick settings using third party apps. I watched numerous videos on this working so smooth. So I tried it with mate 9 too but there's big delay of 2 seconds or more to launch any type of actions. Any idea?
Report it to the developer of whatever third party app you're using.

I don't think its an app issue. It happens with all the available apps for Quick settings. Seems like a problem with EMUI. Can anyone try on their Mate 9 and revert. There are tons available.
If I'm not mistaken the Mate 9 was the first device to hit the market with EMUI 5 out of the box. If there is indeed a compatibility problem it's up to the app developers to find a way around it. They most probably haven't had any bug reports from EMUI 5 users yet so I would definitely contact them.
Have you tried with other launchers?

Just installed the 156 update via system update. Supposed to make 10x zoom available, but still only have 2x.

Just in case anyone else thinks they have this 'issue' I believe the OP discovered that 10x zoom is not available in all camera modes, for example when using Wide Aperture !

How youtube update apps enable HDR on s8,pixel devices?
Isn't it hardware related?

I think HDR+ is hardware related.
HDR without plus is software-enabled.
That's what comes to mind, though I read about that like 11 months ago..
