[Completed] I have multiple problems after installing CM-11 to my phone. - XDA Assist

My phone is an LG-E980. I'd post the exact link on my phone, but spam prevention wins.
So I have quite a number issues regarding my phone ever since I updated to Cyanogenmod 11. I chose this mod because it was the perfect firmware number for the apps I wished to run, and according to the wiki I linked above, going 12+ would disable my SIM card. However, after installing CM tonight I have alot of problems with my phone.
It seems all related to the hardware. The speakers won't play any sound no matter what I try, including alarms or youtube. With this in mind i'm certain that headphones won't work. The Camera won't even load, and finally the SIM card refuses to even work. It's as if drivers to these parts of my phone flat out don't exist. I'm able to connect to the internet still, and I have full access to my phone + it's recovery, so i'm sure the problem is easily fixed. However, I have absolutely no idea where to start. If anyone could help me, i'd really appreciate it.

[Completed] [LG G3 D855] Won't connect to store and a few other issues! Please help!

My problem is slightly getting me desperate at this moment. but I do know there must be a way to fix it.
I have an LG G3 D855 phone. Runs on Android 5.0. I have rooted it a couple of months ago, had no issues with it, but in the last few days my phone ceased connecting to the Google Play store. Mainly all the Google Play services are inactive because the phone couldn't connect with my Google account. It kept asking me to Retry, but with no success.
While still rooted I took notice of a method that could've been the solution to this problem - edit the hosts file with a text editor by placing a # in front of the 2nd row of numbers, although the example number given as an instance wasn't matching the form of the number written in the hosts file on the 2nd row. I tried placing it on both rows, each at a time, but with no success as for some reason the hosts file would not change despite saving and exiting. The hosts file is as it was before at the moment, I suppose, with no modification.
My last choice was to factory reset my phone. Which I did. But the problem was still there - ''Can't establish a reliable connection to the server.'' it says this time around. I figured that upgrading the firmware of the phone would fix things, so I went in the SuperSU app settings and tapped 'Full unroot'. It would take forever the first time, so I restarted my phone and the 2nd time it seemed to have worked - the SuperSU app would stop working each time I tried accessing it. I rebooted my phone and the SuperSU was no longer there. However when I tried upgrading the software of my phone it wouldn't let me as my phone is suspected of having been rooted. I read on the internet that there is a more manual way of unrooting your phone by using a root explorer app and deleting some files yourself.
Here's the catch - at the moment I have no internet browser on my phone nor access to the store to download any apps whatsoever. So I'm stuck like this.
I'd appreciate it tons and worlds if any of you could guide me on what to do. A last method would be to flash the phones ROM again or something like that. Keep in mind that I've been an Android user since March and this phone is my first Android phone. I don't have all that much experience, so detailed explanations are really welcome!
Thanks for the help in advance!

[Completed] Wikipad 7 Stuck in Setup Wizard Loop (More Info In Thread).

I have recently purchased a Wikipad 7 tablet and have been using it for a few weeks. I rooted the tablet using KingoRoot and the root was successful. Using a app included with the root called Superuser I deleted some system files I considered safe to do so in order to speed up the tablet and free up some space and the tablet worked fine after doing so. A couple of days later, I decided to perform a factory reset in order to get rid of multiple large files I had downloaded but could not have the effort to find. The reset went as normal until I tried connecting to wifi in the setup wizard. A screen showing 'Connecting to wifi' appears for some time before the message 'Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped.' appears and I'm taken back the first screen where I have to choose my language. I have tried multiple times to connect to wifi successfully but to no avail. I have tried things such as turning off the router in order to bypass the process but the screen that appears after skipping wifi configuration (the one which asks permission to let google access your location) shows the same message after tapping on the left or right arrows located at the bottom to let me proceed through the setup or go back.
I have tried to search the internet for a solution to this problem, but the solutions were unexpectedly complicated for me to get around as I not understand some of the terminology used and the steps to fixing the problem seem to be specifically for one kind of device.
If anybody could have any knowledge on how to solve this problem then help would be greatly appreciated. It would be preferable if the method to fixing this problem would be as simple as possible to perform and understand. If you would like any additional information regarding the tablet in order to help with solving the problem, please to not hesitate to ask as I will provide all I can.
Yet again, any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

[Completed] Major security issue discovered with Note 4

Hi
I'm having a weird problem with my Galaxy Note 4.
When it boots up, regardless of what type of screen lock I have (pattern, fingerprint etc) it boots to the homescreen and stays there for several seconds before the lock screen appears, so the phone is essentially completely unlocked for several seconds - you can do anything - open apps etc.
I phoned Samsung and they said there must be a bug in the firmware, and needed the phone sent back to them to reflash it. I didn;t want to do that, so instead I reinstalled the firmware using Samsung Kies.
The problem still remained.
However, I've now worked out it only does this with a certain microSD card in the phone. If that specific card isn't in it, it boots straight to the lock screen as it should do.
Obviously I can avoid using that particular card, but that doesn't address why or how it got like that in the first place.
Does anyone have any ideas? Is it worth reflashing a ROM from Sammobile using Odin instead of Kies/
Any advice much appreciated.
Thank you
I've narrowed the problem down to the SD card, not my phone. I've tried it in 2 different phones (a Note 3 and an S4) and with both phones, as soon as it boots up, the status bar appears allowing you to pull it down and access settings and notifications, without ever having to unlock the phone.
Surely there should be no way that a phone should be able to open itself up like that, just by having an SD card put onto it? I could format the SD card but I'd like to work out what's going on!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist. That said it's EXTREMELY unlikely that the mere presence of an SD Card would cause the symptoms you describe unless that card contains some unexpected software that is automatically invoked at boot time. It is generally deemed wise to always format an SD card in the device before using it, even it it was factory "pre-formatted". Looking at what is actually on that card might give you some good clues, but otherwise I suggest that you ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your symptoms might be able to advise you.

[Completed] Help: Mobile Data Lost, possibly SIM tray problem

Hello,
All of a sudden, mobile data was disconnected and nothing I've tried managed to restore it. Even resetting the phone to factory settings. The same SIM card gets data connectivity on a different phone, a different SIM on this device doesn't get data.
I've been looking at the radio log but I don't really understand what's going on there. I can see various SIM IO errors, though, so I am thinking it could be a hardware issue, maybe a broken pin.
If you know your way around a log, please take a look and let me know what you think.
The device is a Sharp SH-06E, Android 4.2, latest build version (01.00.10).
