Hi, as we all know Lollipop 5.02 is now out for XPERIA Z3 Dual D6633 as well. My issue is that when I check for updates from the phone I get the Lollipop 5.02 update but the notice says that the update is ONLY available via PC ! Can you please let me know if that update will eventually also be available as an OTA update and can be done straight via WiFi ?
Yup it will be available OTA after few days.
It doesn't make any difference whether you are updating through pc or OTA.
BUT OTA update always available after few days later thn pc

hey there, i have an xperia z3 sol26 d6653 , it is running kitkat and there is no software update button on my settings
and that may be because au kddi still hasnt released lollipop for this phone and that sucks to me
so my question is can i download and install a stock lollipop firmware for the regular d6653 on my phone ?(after all both of them carry the same model no.)
or will i have to sit tight and wait? and can cyanogen mod be the substitute for this?
you can use that d6653 ftf but u will lose 32gb to 16gb and nfc is not working.
what if i flash Z3 5.1.1 firmware on Z3 dual?

Unofficial ROM? Yes. But remember to flash your dual SIM patch.

There is one leak who show that sony skip update to LP e3 and update it to 6.0 marshmallow.

There's a hope my friend. Recently i got this when i was going through over the net searching for Xperia E3 Lollipop update. This is what i found. Just follow the link. Maybe we need to keep on checking through software update or PC companion.

I think we will need to build Android 5.1 since we have only 4GB of internal memory. Xperia M2 got LP 5.1 version and android system takes 3GB. LP is not that huge, but after Sony put all their stuffs it is. Thats the only reason why I am worried about update. Of course on some sites you can find that we will get marshmallow since we got developer preview. Xperia M2 also got developer preview for 6.0 and M2 users now have 5.1.
I have an idea how to fix camera and mobile data on 5.1, but I am not sure will it work and how long it will be until we get nice custom ROM.
According to jerpelea Sony is still working on this phone. So we can only wait for official or we can start making ROM and I am 100% sure that they will help us.

I am sure if you start learing now how to port it shouldnt be problem to port fully working ROM on other variants.

Hi guys, i recently bought an Xperia XA. I liked the phone. Its come with Marshmellow and made an update 1GB update but no nougat (i don't know what was the new with this update).
I did read here about xperiafirm an flashtool (i'm familiarized because i did have a Xperia L). So, with your experience, do you recommend to install Nougat? My XA is a F3111 model
