/*------SOLVED------*/
hey xda,
So I wanted to use a custom rom, so I flashed twrp 3.0.2 with odin 3.11.1, booted to recovery and flashed the rom. I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention, because I flashed crisscross rom in twrp, which now I believe is for s6 edge only. The model of this phone is g920w8lvu3(xxxx) from Rogers in Canada. When I rebooted after the flash I obviously had some issues due to the mismatch.
-Kernel is not SEAndroid enforcing - bootloop
-Recovery is not SEAndroid enforcing -boots intro recovery
-twrp touch x-axis inverted
I wiped everything and flashed xtrestolite (marshmallow) and it booted, but immediately had a million FC's. Then I wiped again and tried xtrestrolite (lollipop 5.1.1). No Issues booting and setting up the phone, but the touch input was still backwards. I found something on xda that said to dial *#2663# and update the touch panel firmware, and it worked.
however, I still have 2 issues
-SEandroid message still displays for kernel and recovery, but continues to boot fine. I tried flashing a script I found here on xda, but it did nothing
-booting into recovery triggers the phones touch to revert back to inverted on x-axis, and I have to dial that code again after boot to fix it everytime, but it stays fixed as long as I don't go to recovery. regular reboot works fine.
The stock firmware for my phone has been downloading all day, I'll try flashing that in odin to see how it goes and update this. I already made a backup of the phone in working state. In the meantime, please offer suggestions if you can. I'm also wondering why MM roms wont boot but LP roms do. Sounds like something has to match something else, but what?
Sorry for the long post, I guess zhu li did too many things!
EDIT: -Decided to try Kies3. restored to stock through it. SEandroid message gone, touch inverted, dialer code doesnt work
- flashed twrp back on, then xtrestolite LP 5.1.1 SEandroid is back. boots fine. dialer code works, touch fixed, about phone says s6 edge but its not actually the edge version
- touch completely fixed, seandroid dissapears on stock kernel, MM Rom still wont get past splash screen, LP works fine, but only basic version of XtreStoLite, aroma add-on bootloops
- disabled build.prop tweaks and now gets to boot animation... waiting to see if it boots properly, but is taking a while
- boots, everything working okay, but says its a 920f instead of 920w8. Its unclear, but I think the aroma add-on package is not a full rom and needs to be flashed after the basic version
I hope that this log can help someone!

Hi guys,
Really sorry to ask about this but tearing my hair out!
I have a P6200 UK model. I installed CWM v6.0.1.0 and it worked fine. The intention was to install Galaxy ROM HD (build #06), so I downloaded it, put it on my SD card, and installed from CWM recovery. The install got stuck on "Flashing boot" - so after around 15 mins I reset it.
It went into a boot loop on the initial Samsung logo. Luckily I'd previously re-flashed stock HC with Odin (to cure a dead Wifi problem caused by, I think, an errant install of Busybox) so I did this again, rebooted, and the system came up, text started scrolling up the screen, followed by a red error message (see picture) and a reboot. I was then once again stuck on the initial Samsung Tab 7.0 Plus log. I repeated the process and it didn't even get past the Samsung logo.
So I thought I'd try the newly released ICS Rom (GT-P6200_ATO_P6200XXLQ1_P6200OXALQ1) - this seemed to install OK, then half booted, did some text type installation stuff with the blue Android, then rebooted again, finally getting stuck on the Samsung logo with blue pulsating behind it. It never gets any further than that.
I tried flashing HC back - same result as earlier. I can also reflash CWM and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It seems I've run out of options.
So - question is - where (if anywhere!) can I go from here?
Help greatly appreciated, many thanks!
have you tried a system wipe in cwm? if not do a system wipe and reflash HC using odin.. same thing happen to me 2 days ago.. I think something is up with HD rom
Downloaded the Kernel from this website below:
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/25777-kernelaospv2updated-519-gt-p3113-kernel-ocucuvgpuoc-448mhz-etc/
Installed through CWM with zip
Now stuck on a bootloop (when I press the power button, it only reboots it self. doesn't turn off)
The bootloop doesn't go on to my ROM. Stuck on the Samsung GALAXY TAB 2 7.0 logo. My GTab is GT-P3113.
Thankfully, still can go to CWM with ease. (Power + Vol Up) Everything still accessible. Just how to boot to ROM. If going back to stock kernel fixes it, fine. Just give me the link and I'll give it a try(I feel bad for not backing up my kernel). Please help ASAP:crying:.
P.S. I'm on CM11 for P3110. Works fine, even the IR blaster. Just if anyone needs this information
Late Question: Does re-flashing CM11 on the tab restore the stock kernel? If so, is the appdata going to be saved if I re-flash the ROM?
Fixed: booted to ROM
Anyone facing the same problem, just re-flash your ROM (in my case CM11) and GApps if needed. To my surprise, it reboots back to the home screen. Now, I have the problem of android.process.acore crashing. Help?:crying:
That kernel and link are ancient, I wouldn't flash even if you paid me $809,786.00 dollars. There's plenty 0f roms around forum with proven track records. Update you recoveryand your odin try flashing again.
Pp.
Also this Kernel is from 2012 - CM 11 wasn't released

Hello, Newb here so go easy.
I have a Samsung s6 Edge on the Sprint network SM-G925P and have soft bricked it. Originally on build ol1 Lollipop 5.1.1
Here is the rundown, I rooted the phone to be able to utilize Linux etc. Everything was working great for over a week then the phone gave an error and forced a restart.
Once restarted it just stuck on the Samsung Screen, went to boot recovery via vup, home and power. Wiped to factory settings. After the wipe it was stuck on the Powered by Android Screen.
ADB'd TWRP on to the phone, realized the phone wasn't mounted in any fashion. Mounted data, cache, and system went to reboot and was informed the phone did not have an OS and was not Rooted.
Then attempted to do this [KERNEL][0719][5.1.1/BOFE][3.10.61] V Kernel
Followed the directions on this http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...elopment/5-1-1-stock-of7-kernel-root-t3153396 downloaded the kernel from here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=35511 flashed the kernel via ODIN 3.10.6 clean clear easy install.
Rebooted phone, stuck on the powered by Android Screen - boot looping, playing 5 tone sounds repeatedly every 30-45 seconds. Allowed the phone to run this way 3 times for 12-15 minutes each with no change.
And lastly now in the top left of the screen it states "Kernel is not seandroid enforcing"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Add'l Info
After reading a little more about my phone theres a few things I forogt to mention.
The Phone did accept the Kernel and also recognizes the root as it no longer notifies me no operating system found or the phone is not rooted.
The message in the top left corner also alternates occasionally.
Sometimes it will say; Recovery is no seandroid enforcing and others it says Kernel is not seandroid enforcing.

I would say try to Odin the firmware but OI1 firmware hasn't been released and samsung said within the update that you can't roll back firmware once on OI1, so you may possibly be stuck until it's released
ol1
That would explain a lot and also why I couldn't find the OL1 Kernel anywhere.
Would it be possible to use someone else's restore that's still operating on ol1.
I've seen people to mention it on older Galaxy equipment.

hello guys ...
I used the King root program version 4.81 While working on the program Reboot phone and stuck (kernel is not seandroid enforcing)
please help me I do not want the loss of phone I'm very need for the files within the phone
don't worry this message appears everytime once you have updated your kernel
If you have any issue just put your phone in recovery and flash a clean firmware.
I've done that several times and still have it. I'm on G920r4 stock rooted. But then again there is nothing for my phone. The rom is mmb29k.g290r4tyu3cpb4. I flashed a kernel for my phone when I first rooted and it won't take it. It stays on the black Samsung screen
Hey guys, so I'm up for a new phone (had this phone for 2 years) and I remember having a friend root + flash me the cyanogenmod on my Samsung Galaxy S3
I decided to root/flash my current phone (Galaxy S5) and i ended up ****ing in on several fronts.
The following is what I did and where I ended up
Rooted phone through Odin - was successful but I got a feeling it was outdated as I got the Seandroid kernal thing in red
Got ROM Manager and flashed recovery to TWRP - successful
Flashed ROM to Cyanogenmod nightly 7/14/16 - used the wrong version so i couldn't use my phone to call
Flashed Rom to the correct version - successful
Installed Gapps zip so i can use the app store and etc - experienced issues as it was always saying the store failed and etc
Now where I am currently
I ended up wiping all the data and etc so I can flash back to the Stock ROM/firmware since I couldn't get the Gapps to work.
I tried to flash the firmware but everytime I flash it and it boots to the stock recovery and says "installing android update" it gets to 1/3rd where it says "Erasing" and boots up to the Sprint Logo where the Blue notif is on and it is stuck.
I'm assuming its soft bricked and on a bootloop and I am trying to see if I can salvage this phone.
I tried flashing different version of the firmware (my brother has the same phone his version is G900PVPS3CPE2) and i tried that and G900PVPU3CPA. Both times its says its successful on odin but upon booting it only gets 30% before it says erasing and returns to get stuck on the boot.
Can I salvage this phone and if so can someone guide me through the proccess (links to proper firmware download/etc)
I do not care if any data/apps is lost (i have important stuff backed up on my gmail), I just want my phone to work.
That being said, my phone is salvageable instead of guiding me to repairing my phone to stock, if they can guide me to set my phone to a custom ROM (cyanogenmod or anything they suggest assuming they can get the googleapps to work on it) can someone please guide me through that.
Thanks again for reading.
Edit: All info in a TLR format incase my wall of text was messy
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900P (SPR) Android 6.0.1
problem: ****ed up with flashing now phone is stuck in bootloop
What I want: Find a solution to make my phone work, ideally to make it work using a custom rom(any works) that has a working google apps installed.
