Where can I find Officail Rom Huawei Honor X2, Model GEM-702L. (Topic is wrong model)

How to Unroot and install Marshmallow

Hi All,
i am really sorry if i am at wrong place but i need some help and i am newbie so please do not make fun of my questions.
i am running on 5.1.1 Mate 7 L09 and my device is rooted with Kingroot.
now i want to go to Marshmallow but i do not know how to go for it? do i have to remove root?? for installing marshmallow? if so then please tell me how to remove root...!!
secondly i am downloading MD5: 0F3AAFD9B7B136993DF3C29D9D31C43A Keneral from Huawei website for Mate 7 please can someone tell me what is it for? and how to get it working in Mate 7 is it Marshmallow?? or is it something else....!!

Which version do you have on it B326, B331, etc?
TL10 or TL09 Mate Version?
On TL10 must be runnig B326 to Update to MM B511
Flash Stock Recovery and than Flash the Update.App (B326)via Local Update after a Factory Reset i think is better.
Copy the MM B511 to dload Folder on the Phone and flash via Local Update
You have an Unrooted MM Stockrom B511

Any official update for mediapad x2 GEM-701L to 5.1.1 or 6.0 ?

I am running the official 5.0 sw/GEM-701L, is there any new official sw like 5.1.1 or 6.0 , i tried to check with referent regions in Huawei website but no hop,
they released the device and left it without update

There is no official Update for 701.You can unlock the Bootloader and flash the China Firmware from 703 or the international 702 Firmware.

But anyway, I think that 701L users now need a more simple, clear and updated tutorial for " how to install a recent 703L rom on my 701L", dedicated to this precise model.
If someone with this experience would read that...

Does anybody know the market shear between 701, 702 and 703 models? I am wondering what are the reasons of being no updates for 701. Maybe it's becaus it only represens a few percent of the X2 market?

I agree. It's definitely needed a dedicated tutorial for 701L on how to convert to 703L.
I hope AJ can spare some of his time for this..[emoji16]

no 701L update blues
Got em bad.
This seriously sucks for what is otherwise a fabulous device.
Certainly puts me off Huawei for my next phone.

Save a maximum of personnal data and settings (with for example : huawei backup app, helium backup, titanium backup...).
Then flash directly on your 701L this official international rom designed for 702L:

It will install, and your device will be on android 6, and designed for international users.
Please note that it is recommanded to unlock your bootloader before flashing anything. In order to unbrick your device if something goes wrong.

yon can even now flash directly 702LB205 ROM for not only android 6, but also the very last rom released for X2 device, see this very recent thread:

i want to update my huawei ascend mate 7 (mt7-l09)
my firmware version is :
MT7-L09 V100R001C00B120SP04
so that means i have the B120 rom
kitkat 4.4.2
actually bought from Claro, latin america
and i'd like to update it to any other recognized version
with lollipop o marhsmallow
can anybody help me? and at the same time, it help other huawei mt7-l09 users

First thing you are going to need to do is flash a new cust file (but remember you must have stock recovery before you can flash this).

Mediapad x2 GEM-702L B006 Upgrade to Marshmallow

Hi,
I'm new here and struggling to understand exactly how I can upgrade my GEM-702L with stock ROM B006 to Marshmallow and EMUI 4. Can someone post the steps I need to go through, and where the relevant files can be downloaded from. Like many of you I am really disappointed that Huawei have forgotten us.

It is very easy.
Download b202 from the firmwares post in this forum
Unzip the file and copy to the root directory of the phone or even in the sd.
From settings menu, update manually chossing the file you have copied. Its all.
Make backup of your photos and other things because this update makes a factory reset

The latest B202 says I need to install B201 first but does not provide a link to it. Where can I find B201 and where can I find the twpr to install it?
