Extract all the img files from B211 stock rom with Huawei Update Extractor. Extract the boot.img, cust.img, cache.img recovery.img and system.img. Flash each in fastboot. Then when your phone reboots go into settings and do a factory data reset and wipe your internal storage so that it sees the full amount of space. Then you'll be back on B211. Then you should be able to flash KangVIP B211 without issues. Also, after you flash KangVIP B211 be patient as the first boot could take up to 8 minutes.
thank you.
should i use the twrp 6?
Hi i have download the 211 stock from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-x2/general/mediapad-x2-firmware-702l-703l-t3168925
and its downloaded as zip and as .app. do do you have a different link?

After you flash back to stock B211 yes, flash twrp for 6.0. You need to extract the zip with Huawei Update Extractor and extract those img files.
thank you.
im using extractor version 0.9.9.3 and it only let me extract .app files. what am i missing?

Okay, try this way.
1. Fastboot flash stock 6.0 recovery and save the 6.0 update.zip in your sd card.
2. reboot with 3keys press (Power and Vol +/-)
3. Just keep pressing the 3 keys (it might take more than 10 seconds) till you see a stock recovery updating in progress.
See if it goes through the whole process. If it does, you are on Stock android 6.0.
If it stops at 9x%, it's just cust problem and it's easy to fix. Just reboot to see if you can go into system.
thank you for replying
i did as you told and i got the system update stop at 4%. i rebooted and went to system but as usual the system rebooted after 3 seconds.'
how do i fix the cust?
by the way i put the update.zip file in root sd card, not dload. is it ok?
update : try also in dload and same thing : stop at 5% and system reboot after 5 seconds of use

Put the su zip file in root directory of your sd card.
I am not sure about xposed. I don't use it on my mediapad x2

1. redownload the rom file from official location. ( http://consumer.huawei.com/kh/suppor...h.htm?id=38361 )
It is the official for g6-l11
2. put the update.app into dload folder on your sd card (unpack from the zip)
3. shut down your phone
4. hold volume+ volume- and power button. When it start to boot release the power button, and hold both the volumes until the instalation starts
5. you will see that firmware flashing begin, wait for the end
after that you will have everything in place .
This does not need unlocked bootloader and should work for any version, even when previous instalation is corrupted..
Tell us if it worked.
when you roote your phone it willn't delete eny data

You have to ask either Huawei (it takes time), or ask in facebook group
https://www.facebook.com/groups/328261053999820/permalink/422281734597751/
you will get code and with this code you can unlock bootloader(in fastboot mode).
Next install custom recovery (again you can find it there).
And next just flash super-su from custom recovery and you are rooted. It works always on any mobile.

Yeah what you're showing isn't the full B106, it looks like it's just the B106SP01 update file. You need the full B106:
https://docviewer.yandex.com/?url=ya-disk-public%3A%2F%2FvI5Y3Obeku4qzIrtHfPviJPL3yhTpSABBi9V4fM0UpU%3D%3A%2FRom%2FOriginal%2FGEM-703L_EMUI3.1_Android5.1_V100R001C233B106.zip&name=GEM-703L_EMUI3.1_Android5.1_V100R001C233B106.zip&c=561730b7dfbe
For those who say that the update process is not working. I had to install everything perfectly like I wanted it with superboot.img and twrp recovery to get root access to remove everything I did not want. I edited the build.prop and local.prop, and del the mms.xml file and del the uninstall.XML file. I did all that to make sure it was it was English and texting was working and had no problem with Google apps disappearing. Then I went the su user and unrooted because once you are rooted you will have a problem with the sim cards and sending texts. After full unrooting reboot and restart into fastboot and flash the original boot.img and recovery.img from b108sp1 and reboot. Finished

You don't have to use any of the superboot img files. You can just flash UpdateSuperSU2.49 in TWRP and root that way.

Most likely. Back your files up first.
I have many Problems on B108 the same as on B 106sp01
I install a fresh System and two Days later is it starting.
The keyboard does what she wants when I write,I press "a" there is "r",etc...
In the Browser I scroll down Everything will be bigger,or a link will open even though I do not press on it.
If I reboot it works again for one or two days, but that it may not be so.
On B015 I never had a problem and since 5.1.1 everything is going crazy.
Has anyone of you such problems?

Hey all,
Has anyone tried rooting the new OTA firmware B560? If so, can you post which versions of TWRP and SuperSU were used? And if you happen to have the links to the downloads that would be great too!

Hi, for twrp I've used the version from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3156779 for supersu used the version 2.62 from chainfire website. Installed twrp through fastboot, then in twrp installed supersu. I believe newer versions of supersu works too.

ok i go to phone manager and allow supersu to autolunch
now supersu works.
I just used the unroot zip and it worked. This is good as I can root, make changes then unroot.
Edit:
It seems removing root has allowed my file manager to still do root operations, possibly as it was already allowed root access prior to uninstalling SU. Other user apps cannot access root. I just put the Huawei Notepad app back into system/priv-app from backups folder in Storage. Permissions were ok without altering. All I needed was a wipe dalvik/cache in TWRP and reboot.
Unfortunately I reflashed the Stock Recovery and now I'm not able to do anything. I've tried adding the dload folder with the B560 update to reinstall the firmware, but it fails at 5%, with both the OTA update and the Full versions. I'm soooo scared that I have bricked my device. When I reboot into the stock recovery I get 3 options, Reboot System, Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe cache partition. And when I manually force it into fastboot/rescue mode the computer doesn't recognize the phone.
Please someone tell me that my device can be saved somehow! I don't know what else to do :*(

Which stock recovery did you use though? It must be the right one to work.
I found a flash fail at 5% was when there is no update in the /System/dload folder if you're trying to force it to do OTA. I did that by accident. Thought I bricked it but it re-booted ok.
If you use the dload folder in SD card, Marshmallow prefers to kick off the update from the dialler app.
If you used the wrong recovery, maybe it will flash from SD ok with a different ROM but we need to know exactly what recovery you flashed to it. That controls partitioning which you probably messed up.
See if you can re-install a driver and see it with ADB somehow.

this recovery works fine from me , i extracted it from B560 update.app.. hmm try and give B522 recovery a try then , put the update.app file in the dload folder and put it on your sd card root folder, then flash the stock recovery using recovery mate7 mobopx v2.1 http://depositfiles.com/files/dkok9h43y then use the 3 buttons trick to force install the firmware
edit : when updating with the full update , you only put the update.app file in the dload folder, nothing else

Yesssss!!! I finally got it fixed... I added the full B522 update to my sd and forced the update and it WORKED!!! The B560's wouldn't but that one did... I don't understand why seeing that I had B560 when I tried rooting my device. I'm just glad that I have my phone back!! :good::laugh:

try to reroot using the method from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-how-to-root-mate-9-decrypt-data-t3569986
you need to flash your stock boot.img thru twrp to remove the superuser you use previously before proceed using superRoot or SuperSU from that thread. and try to look for your stock boot.img maybe you can find it in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/development/stock-boot-img-library-t3573312
Good Luck.

Flash back stock boot and you'll be back to stock, as long as you didn't modify any of the other partitions (/system, /vendor, /product). And flash back recovery using adb.
Get stock boot by downloading your firmware from http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=mha
Then download Huawei Update Extractor https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
Open it up and open update.app which you extracted from update.zip. Right click on BOOT and extract, same with recovery.
Flash back boot using twrp and 'fastboot flash recovery recovery.img' to flash back stock boot.

You will have to flash back hw and public zips for your build. There's a folder (hw_init) in /data/ that gets wiped when you format data, it contain apps (system update for example) and the theme engine.
So you will have to flash back TWRP again and decrypt again if you went back to stock, else you won't be able to flash the zips. After that you can flash back stock boot and recovery, and you *should* be able to update via OTA.
Here's a little guide for getting HW and public for your build: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71302827&postcount=627
Also, question: What update are you trying to apply? It might just be that it's not approved by Huawei yet, and that makes it impossible to install using Firmware Finder.
And if you're trying the Dload method, it won't work. Only 2 offline firmwares have been released.
Edit: I should learn to read. So you're trying Dload? Yeah, that won't work.
I guess you could install your current full firmware using Firmware Finder, but for that you'd still need to flash back HW and Public so you can actually see the System Update button.
And that means flashing back TWRP, and flashing to /data requires decrypting, so you'd have to do that as well.

When I boot up the camera Icon is gone as for Settings

2) Preparation before the T card upgrade:
1. Prepare a TF card and format the TF card into FAT format first;
2. Decompress the downloaded product software version (generally a compressed package and divide it into multiple compressed sub-packets) and copy the obtained folder named "HLTE700T_TF" to the root directory of the TF card.
3. Insert the TF card into your phone and put the battery in your phone. Make sure the battery is more than 50% charged. If the battery is low, please charge it first.
(three) T card upgrade process
1. Press and hold the “Volume+” and “Volume-” side buttons at the same time, then press the power button, the phone will automatically enter the T card upgrade mode for upgrade. If the phone does not enter the T card upgrade mode, please shut down. Repeat this operation.
2. Wait for about 5 minutes to complete the upgrade and a prompt for the upgrade to be successful.
3. Restart according to the prompt after successful upgrade. If there is no such prompt, press and hold the power button for more than 20 seconds to restart. After the upgrade, the first boot time is longer, which is several times of the normal boot time. Please be patient.

EDIT: Yipee! It was asking for password. I booted to recovery by Hodling volume down+power. Then select an option to erase data, confirm by pressing volume up. It took a few minutes.
Then it booted with the custom rom!
So, anyone who comes across password can just erase their phone by booting into recovery.
Thanks to joygram! This works, so looking forward to having gapps on my phone now! Good luck to everybody.

I used Magisk and patched boot.img in joygram's ROM. Then I replaced the original boot.img with partched one, and then used the same method with QFIL. It works!
But when you boot it reminds you device state is locked. However, Magisk is fully operational and I have used many modules already.
