hello Lampis, MIUI ROM is still in closed beta tests, there are some issues as I read the users experience shared on MIUI, Nubia and AnZhi forums.
we'll have the first official MIUI ROM for Nubia Z5S in a week or two, I guess. a little bit more patience
can't say what ROM is the best, I just have the highest expectations from MIUI.

don't think there is a CM11 built ROM available for download, just the sources on the github repo

short test report on Camera Mod apk
- made a copy of stock Gallery2.apk on a backup folder
- have installed new apk with Root Browser from Rom Toolbox Lite, then reboot
- did some random shoots, mainly on Pro settings
- the app crashed with "unfortunately, Gallery has stopped" when raw has been chosen instead jpg, feedback report has been sent
- old apk install fails, new apk can be successfully reinstalled, but still stops by launch
- sorted out with App Manager from ROM Toolbox Lite, clear data and clear cache for the Gallery system app
Some specs: Nubia Z5S 16GB, modded rooted ROM v1.30

Not exactly like stock Gallery2.apk, some menu changes.

Thanks will check it out here's the modded camera http://d-h.st/qvN disabled picture format added pretty mode to install just rename Gallery2.apk and Gallery 2.odex to Gallery2.apk.bak and Gallery2.odex.bak then install the above apk like normal the one issue is you cannot launch the camera app with camera key also to take better pics turn off pretty mode wavelet denoise set sharpness to 0 and always try use iso 100 when possible . for exposure time to take effect turn off zsl . here are some photos on my flickr stream www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/. Oh yeah will reactivate iso hjr it uses crazy iso went up to iso9200

what I like:
- can be installed as user app, much easier for anybody
- we've got everything possible in Pro mode settings, I guess
- picture quality setting
bugs:
- the bug on camera launching with hardware button is not that bad, at least the button works on taking shots
- ISO setting is not permanent, it loads on Auto on every camera restart

Those who dont know what Project Spectrum is:
"Project Spectrum," the ROM is a departure from Oppo's own ColorOS, featuring nearly stock Android with a few useful ColorOS features thrown in. Here's what Oppo says it opted to include, along with a few caveats for the initial version of the ROM:
Screen-off Gestures: Currently there are two supported screen-off gesture, double tap to wake up the phone and draw a circle to open the camera app.
ColorOS Camera: Currently the ColorOS camera is supporting the following plugins: Beautify, Filters, HDR, GIF, Double exposure and Expert Mode, for others we will continue working and try add them in the near future.
MaxxAudio: The MaxxAudio is supported and turned on by default.
Other than those three items, the ROM is mostly stock Android as you'd expect it to be.

The other catch is they are completely different devices.
I just flash this spectrum ROM 6.0 and even in beta I find it good except for battery life compared to stock ROM ... Hope it could be optimised in the release version
Spectrum Bug?
Guys. after I flash spectrum v1.0i Beta. I couldn't install any of recoveries. CWM,TWRP and even the stock Oppof1.
Now all I want is to back my phone to normal. I hope anybody here helps me. Please kinda reply if you have any ideas or things to help me, I would deeply appreciate it.

Switch back to ColorOS with the package and procedure provided by OPPO. Then try the original procedure you used.

Redmi 4 Prime User we got an update of Miui 9 for our device but its not officially release but its just release for the Beta Tester, I installed it and make a simple Review of that ROM but so far its the same as Miui 8 as it is still on Marshmallow and a few settings, only i see that a little bit battery life and Performance is increased. Only thing I've noticed so far is photo capturing with fp sensor doesn't work.

I just got a J4+ from a family member after my iPhone stopped working, I've been an iOS user for over 4 years.
Before moving to iOS in 2017, I used to be a Samsung/Android user and I also used to install custom roms on my phones but I see that things are a bit diff now.
What is the best custom rom for J4+? I need less lag on apps like Instagram (specially in the camera section), TikTok (videos lag a lot on One UI) and on games.
I see that nowadays you need to unlock the bootloader in settings and then flash some unlocking stuff on TWRP before being able to install roms? I'd need quite a guide, if anyone can help

Remember to use the arm-aonly image. Either Googapps or Vanilla variant is fine, it's up to you.
