Tablet To Laptop with HDMI

hi,
I have a laptop (Fujitsu lifebook ah530 gfx) wich has an hdmi port. I also have an archos 80 g9 tablet with a mini hdmi port. Recently I bought a minihdmi to hdmi cable and everything works fine when I connect the tablet to my tv screen. However it would be really nice if I could connect the tablet to my laptop's screen. I tried to just plugin the cables but nothing happpened. So I wonder is there any way to configure the laptop's monitor to show the tablet's screen through hdmi?

No. Laptop/PC HDMI is output only.

OnePlus 7 Pro - connection to monitor

Has anyone connected a OnePlus 7 Pro to a monitor via the USB cable ?
What screen resolution were you able to support ?
Are you able to run chrome remote desktop on the monitor at a decent resolution ?

I have one USB C to HDMI Adapter with 60 watt power delivery, works great, with power it even charges the phone.
My cheap USB C hub (popwer delivery, 1x HDMI 1x USB 3.0) works as well, but only HDMI
I haven't managed to get sound yet

Honor 20 HDMI out?

I just bought the Honor 20 and found the Desktop mode using cast. But will a dongle(or hub) from USB-C to HDMI work like it does for the Honor 20 view?

i tried the samsung type-c hdmi cable , it doesn't work.

Honor 20 comes with a USB 2.0 usb controller using USB-C interface. HDMI out only works on USB controllers with Controller revision 3.0+. So no, you cannot use C->HDMI adapters/cables.

Kindle fire HD 8 8th gen 2018 not responding to otg

Hi,
I have a Kindle fire HD 8 8th gen 2018. When I plug in the otg cable it does not respond and shows otg in the left hand corner but there are no files.
I am using this cable Rii F1 Micro USB Host OTG Adapter Cable Micro USB to USB For Smart TV Compatible with Rii Keyboards Logitech Keyboards and Nintendo Switch SNES NES Classic

I use this cable on my Kindle fire 7 the 2017 and can connect usb to it to watch films etc. I am trying to replicate the same thing on the Kindle 8.
The kindle 8 is my dad’s and I am helping him.
Also does anyone know how to charge and otg at the same time? As on kindle 7 I can watch usb but not charge.

Attached a run-of-the-mill OTG cable to my 8th gen HD 8 (unlocked, rooted but otherwise stock FireOS); no issue recognizing and reading files using FX File Manager off an equally benign flash drive. FireOS also saw the drive.
You can not charge and OTG simultaneously on these low end gizmos. Likely a kernel limitation.

I'm assuming its more about the version of android rather than the actual phone.
