Hi everyone! I don't know if this is the right place to post but I've searched the internet with no solution.
Turns out that some years ago I flashed CM 7.2 ROM to my Dell Venue, then I gave it to my sister.
She went out one time with the phone and someone spilled his drink on the phone.
Since then it seems like the SD Card reader broke, cause I've tried different SD cards and the phone didn't recognize any of them.
The problem is that I can't do virtualy anything with the phone now, cause when I open the camera it says "Insert an SD card before using the camera", I can't even get an audio message or an image in whatsapp cause it asks for the SD card. I also wanted to flash the stock ROM but without an SD card I don't know how.
Is there a workaround for the device to use the internal storage? I know it's just 500MB but something is better than nothing. I know that the development for the Dell Venue is pretty much zero at this time, but maybe this is something that happens on other phones too. Thanks in advance and sorry if this isn't the right place to post

When I open the camera app I get an SD card full error message and I cannot take any picture. I have free space on my SD Card. I have also done a factory reset, tried another SD card, still no luck.
Can anybody help on this issue?
Hi,
We need to know your device make and model number so we can point you towards help.
Thanks!

Have you tried a different camera application? There are several good ones on they Play Store. If they also don't work, then your Rom has a problem.

I am very sorry. I was happy I remembered there was the XDA assist and I forgot to read the rules.
My phone is an LG Optimus Sol (e730). I am running CM9 nightly "9-20130929-NIGHTLY-e730", android version 4.0.4.
Worked fine until some days ago. I don't remember doing anything in particular to it, other than use it like I usually do.
I hope I didn't do anything wrong this time.
Hi,
The above post was directed to the quoted member, not yourself. ?
Unfortunately I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device and issue, so you will need to ask for help here,

Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
Fortunately, there is an XDA forum dedicated to your Samsung Galaxy Core II at http://forum.xda-developers.com/t/galaxy-core-2. I suggest you ask your question there where the experts familiar with your device can best help you find a suitable application to move some of your data to the external SD card.
Good Luck!

Sorry about that! At least you can still read and search that forum for information. The Google Play Store has various apps to accomplish what you have in mind, but not all work for all devices and you'd have to experiment a bit
Until you can post in development forums, you could try asking in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where other users of your device might be able to point you in the right direction.
Good Luck!

You can post about your Galaxy 2 in the Q&A or General section here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-core
You will have better luck finding an answer in that section.
Good luck,

Hi I have a Jiayu S3+ with the newest Lollipop Firmware without root. I have a 32 GB Micro sd card inserted and everything went fine for the last 2 months. Till today when i was watching some stuff on Netflix with my Handy it stopped working. Like everything bugged out, freezed etc. i shothandly took the battery out and rebooted. everything went smoothly expect that my sd card didnt work anymore.... or better android didnt seem to be able to use it but didnt give any information at all.....
i installed a analyzetool (SD Insight) which showed me my internal SD and the other SD which is the Problem. Insight saw the 32 Gig partition blocksize and type, modell etc etc so the card itself is getting recogniced. Then i installed a check tool (SD Card Check) which says tha Card is in Memory Disk-Checking status. Further it says: " Memory is present and is being disk-checked, it will be ready in a while." After letting the Handy "check" for like 3 Hours i didnt believe that anymore and so is my Conclusion that something is wrong but i cant figure out what.
Now where do i ask that Problem? In a Thread for SD cards itself? for the Phone? Im kinda confused with XDA XD. sry

I'm trying to bring an old Medion smartphone back to life as a backup phone for me. Rooted, xposed, everything working until I tried to insert a sim card.
Exactly 4 pins are making contact with the sim card, and the card is not recognized. Is it normal that not all connections on the card are used? Or is the phone broken?
Hi,
As a Senior Member, I would say you should know your way around the site and know where to ask for help. Like here perhaps for a device with no section, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
And it's good to read the stickies in any section, like this one from Assist, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2764768
Assist is here to help newer members navigate the site, not for support. :good:
