That sounds bad...
I will stay with CM 13 for now.
Personally i didn't have any issue with spectrum rom..running smooth..no lags..no heating issue like cm 13 /aicp ..missing theming of cm13 three finger swipe for screenshot..

How is the experience with Spectrum so far? Still using CM as it quite stable on my phone.
I downgrade to colour os,and using cm13..

Heating issue was with cm13 rom..phone gets hot especially with mobile data turned on..while stock color os rom had better battery optimisation and less heating..
regarding battery optimisation and heating issues best rom is color os..then comes spectrum rom..and finally cm rom..
but i am still using aicp rom..since spectrum rom has not yet been rooted..
aicp battery dosent last like color os or spectrum..but with the huge battery of r7 plus and themeing options of aicp or cm , i still consider aicp/cm as a better rom for r7plus..

Can't say I've ever noticed excessive power usage related to mobile data. At the beginning, we had standby drain issues due to keeping all cores running all the time, but we fixed that quite so time ago. I also have patches up to use the CPU core control mechanism that ColorOS and Spectrum use, but can't merge them due to us using a common setup for the whole R5/R7 line and R7f having issues with kernel module loading

Hi i was not complaining..i dont know much about kernel and more complicated things.. i still prefer aicp because of extra customizations ..
is there any way of rooting the spectrum rom..if rooted we could try layers in it since spectrum is an aosp rom..cm themes are really good , but layers have a lot of new work going on..

Hey there guys...
I have a simple question.
Well... This morning I've tried to take a photo of some text. I enabled the flashlight in the camera app an shot the photo... But all I get is a hell white picture. So I tried around with the flashlight and noticed that it makes all the pics way too bright... They are aweful.
Does any of you guys suffer the same problem?
Is there any fix?
I am running 4.4.2 on latest DroidKang v18 and ChaosKernel 9.2.
Thanks in advance

now are you using the flash to take photos or are you using a "flashlight" option?
I'm sorry for the wrong place.
Well... Of course I use the regular flash option in the camera. Sorry for my English

you can move back a little from the object that you are photographing. or, what i would probably do, you can turn down the exposure to -1(press the circle on the bottom right, pres the +/-, press -1).
Yeah... I understand what you mean. But it's not a problem of distance or something. I am a hobby photographer and know about that. Even photographing my room from about 6ft gives me crappy results. Here are examples. The brighter one is with exposure 0 and the darker ( but still awkward ) one is with -2

Okay... So just flash gapps over? Your flash looks way better. Mine is really blueish. The wall on my pics is white as snow actually
Gesendet von meinem Nexus 5 mit Tapatalk
Maybe you have an issue with focus. There is a pre-flash that is quite blue that goes off during focus before the actual flash. Maybe you're somehow catching that. I managed to capture it myself once just now but unable to reproduce since

The problem is ROM and kernel related. Roms which use for the torch the sysf interface run into this problem if the kernel does not have a fix. Symptom is simple....enable one time torch....after that every picture is overexposed. Only a reboot solves it and after that best not using torch.
Basically it is an error in the kernel source. Fix for it is this one
https://github.com/SlimRoms/kernel_lge_hammerhead/commit/fc65aaf560efbaafcdc0a03793af75fc9d97ef12
Just notify your kernel dev about.

Thank you for porting a Slimkat ROM to Xperia L.
I am surely trying this and will soon report all problems etc.
And a big hearty thanks man
And one suggestion , Sony has released an open source archive of 15.3.A.1.16 use that kernel source , and that will solve many bugs in the device tree

Great News ! paranoid android ream brought us a marshmallow Rom. There's nothing I want more than installing it. I searched for videos and on google for information about it but didn't find more than I already know. So if you have it installed or will install it pls share your experience with us ! My phone is fully stock, so it's a hard decision. I also get 4 hours of sot normally. 5 hours were possible, so will aospa get me it back ? What are the system tweaks. Is there another kernel ? Or is it just stock android with oos features removed and PA features added ? The batterylife is the biggest point for me

Both. And with different browsers. Download apps from playstore works great and fast.

Very strange, looked like you had restriction on size of download or the mobile/WIFI preference for download.
Do you maybe have some pattern in the size of files that you can download.

How is heat on performance ? Overheat ? Is it quite stable (antutu value after some tests) ?
After a few starting problems I can say it's the best rom for mi4c I ever had.
Very smooth, no bugs, working ota updates and great features, so no need for xposed soon

simply flash sultan latest build.
if u r dat battery conscious, use greenify and stuff.

Switch to performance mode in battery profile, but remember this is going to cost you some more battery life than it used to on balanced profile.
Try Paranoid Android. I get 6h SOT on it. It's very smooth but lack of customization. There are some bug in ROM but it will be fixed in next biild
