[Completed] [How to build ROM] - XDA Assist

Hi
For older devices there is kitchen but now it's discontinued and somesay use Eclipse...
Some say use android studio and so many other.
I'm a bit confused...
I'm going to be a rom developer and everyone have to start from somewhere...
We all know that one thing we should not even think about it in rom developing is money...and Im going to do it to be one of the fellow developers near the experts in this place.
one of the purpose of Xda is to share knowledge so instead of saying me to search or experience the ways all alone, I can obtain experiences from others and start with a boost from you guys...if you tell me straight answer and direct ways and tell me your experiences it will way more helpful.
The question is:
For edit/building of New Devices(like myself Xperia Z3C) and for Android Marshmallow
1_what OS is better? (windows,Linux...)
2_what skills are needed?
3_what tools I have to use?
4_Do I Need VPS? Or can it be done by a PC?
5_What Specs of VPS/PC is needed? (least one to be good and reliable)
6_any other info?
7_last suggestions?
"Google is not my friend"
Thanks

Really now?
Nearly 40 views and no answers?
So how all of these developers make roms?
I don't think it comes from thin air... :S

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III (d2spr) at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-sprint which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-sprint where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist and I'm not sure there is an XDA area where your query best belongs besides maybe the General Forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general. If you ask there with the relevant details, someone might be able to advise you.
Good luck!

[Completed] I need a custom rom so i can flash clockwork recovery

Is there a major problem building roms for this proview Proscan PLT7100G just seems like it's been out way too long for me to still be begging and offering money to people to get this done. Honestly i'll pay you.
Hello,
XDA Assist is for newbies finding their way around on XDA. Not to request ROMs. If a developer would have this device, there would be ROMs.

The XDA Assist forum is not for answering your questions, troubleshooting your issues or helping you find and do the repairs.
It is for pointing members that don't know their way around XDA in the right direct for where they should post based on the device or give them links to threads that can help. Your device does not have a device specific forum, questions for devices without specific forums go in the forum I linked you to. Post in that link, that is where you'll get answers
