[Completed] Samsung GT-I8552: Unable to access recovery mode and battery issues - XDA Assist

Hello,
I'm using GT-i8552 stock 4.1.2 (UNROOTED).
I did root my phone with 'Framaroot', the rooting was successful and SuperSU was installed properly. After this I didn't try installing any custom ROMs or any conflicting apps but still I started facing battery issues like,
1. After putting on charge, display shows that it is charging but no progress at all (it freezes at certain %)
2. When the phone is switched off and put on charge, the display just blinks up and goes off (lights on lights off) nothing else appears and no battery progress
3. Sometimes the phone charges properly to 100% but after disconnecting cable, battery status is 50-60%
The above problems occur not all the time.
The things that I tried,
1. Did unroot my phone and removed SuperSU
2. Did a factory reset from phone's settings option.
3. Got an original new battery from service center
4. Took the phone to Samsung customer care (they couldn't find any problem at all and advised that the problem must be in the charger) (I tried to charge with samsung charger, sony's charger & portable charger)
5. Changed USB cables for charging
6. Tried Battery Calibration apk by Nema
7. I think the charging port is little bit damaged but I can still get the phone to charge
Even after doing all the above things the problems still occur sometimes. Other than that the phone works fine, there is no BOOTLOOP.
When I try to boot it into recovery mode (volume up+home+switch on and release after SAMSUNG logo) but after releasing the buttons the SAMSUNG GT-i8552 logo appears and phone starts with no warning and all, it's not accessing the recovery mode or download mode too.
Is there any solution to the battery related issues or do I need to flash the stock firmware again?
I am not aware of the steps of flashing firmware, please do redirect.
Thank You!!

[Completed] Retrieve Data from Bricked S3

Hi There,
Firstly I do apologize if this has already been posted, but I have searched through the forums and have not been able to find any specific information about this particular problem.
I have a Galaxy S3 (purchased in 2012) and a few weeks ago, the phone started to automatically switch off (when I locked it) and I would have to hold the power button for about 15-30 seconds for it to switch back on.
I checked the power button(to see if it was broken and pressing down all the time) but it seemed to be fine as whenever I pulled the battery (and put it back in after 1 minute) the phone would NOT come on unless I held the power button.
Also tried replacing the battery, but that did not seem to work.
About 1 week ago when i tried to turn my phone on, with the power button, but it would get stuck on the samsung logo screen (it was frozen, not looping).
I was still able to enter both recovery and download mode. So I tried wiping the cache but it did nothing.
Then I tired flashing the ROM with ODIN and it passed but it also did nothing (tried flashing multiple times all with "PASS" as well as wiping the data cache in conjuction with the flashing but to no avail).
Tried flashing it again with BL and it also passed, but now whenever I try to enter Recovery Mode or Turn the phone ON it would display a White Scrambled Screen which probably means eMMC failure.
Now for the problem:
How do I retrieve the information on the phone ?
N.B;
- I do not care about fixing the phone, only want the information
-I cannot enter Recovery Mode, BUT I can enter download mode.
-When I connect S3 to PC it is detected (In Device Manager it states "Samsung Mobile USB CDC Composite Device")
-I did have my phone password protected before this happened using the Pattern Password (you have a 3x3 Dot grid in which you can use to draw a line(s) which will function as a password)
-My phone is an S3 GT-I9300
-Never interfered with the ROM or software on the phone before this (was running the official android software from Samsung which I believe was Android Version 4.3).
-Have Tried EaseUs, but it does not detect the phone.

[Completed] I think I have bricked my SM-T320, help

model: sm-t320 wifi only, just flashed cm13 nightly, i believe it was the one released on the first of February 2016, the tablet was working okay sometimes a bit laggy but that is expected with the nightly not fully developed or whatever. i installed and am still using cm13 on my tablet but i installed it on my friends tablet which is the exact same tablet, color and all, and this happened: it shut of by itself and when i tried to turn it back on it wouldnt. i plugged it in and the battery charging icon turned on but it was only the icon with the loading circle image in the middle. so i let it charge for a good six hours and during that the screen stayed on with the same image. when i unplugged it, after about two seconds the screen dimmed and started flashing on and of as if there was a loose connection. then it just shuts off. when it is unplugged i cant do anything, (turn on, download mode, recovery) the screen just stays blank. when i have it plugged in i can access the first boot screen displaying "samsung galaxy tab pro" and it will not go any further. i can also access download mode perfectly. i cannot access recovery mode, it just goes straight to the first boot screen. i tried flashing the stock rom and was unsuccessful. either because the computer was not supplying enough voltage/amps to keep the tablet running or it just simply would not boot. the flash was successful each time i tried on odin but the same issues happened on the tablet each time. i did not install Gapps because he just wanted to try it out quickly and maybe keep it or go back to stock if (that helps). i believe that is all i know. please help me!

[Completed] Cannot charge Samsung Galaxy 8.0 (N5100) and is in bootloop

I have a soft-bricked Samsung GT-N5100 and it doesn't seem like it can be fixed easily. My device has no OS installed due to flashing failures, but I managed to install a custom recovery(TWRP). The problem is, the battery of my device is too low for me to actually try anything, even opening it takes too much effort. When I plug the charger, my device's screen flickers while in Samsung Logo, then boots straight to recovery. Recovery mode then drains my battery, and somehow I can't charge in recovery mode. Does anyone know how to charge my battery? The battery is built-in, by the way.

[Completed] is it possible that software only problem makes android phone to go completely dead?

Hi friends, i have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100), which got turned off suddenly after an official software update recently. when i tried to restart it was struck at logo display, i tried recovery mode and it says cannot mount and cannot recover, tried wiping out cache, tried factory reset but it didnt work. Then in download mode I tried flashing custom rom, official firmware downloaded from sammobile, through different versions of odin but none of them worked. suddenly my phone got turned off completely, not even logo display, when i connect charger it is not charging, charging led is not lit., nor any charging symbol on display. i checked my battery in another device it still have 90% of charge. and i checked my charge also it is working fine. now my question is can a software ( firmware) only problem causes this situation believing that there is no hardware issue. if so please suggest me how to recover.
Hi !
I would recommend you to search and post your issue here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2055736&page=205
Be sure you have downloaded the correct firmware for your device variant and that the battery has at least 70% power , keep your phone connected to charger for few hours
Good luck !

Samsung Tab 2 [GT-P3100] Won't work

Summary: I was installing a Slim7 custom rom on my tablet when before it finishes off the power went off and my device turned off completely, when I was trying to boot back on Recovery [TWRP] it won't work so thus Download mode it is completely dead. Thinking this was a battery problem (drained, I guess) I tried to charge my tablet but it doesn't charge properly, stucked in "cycle" logo inside a battery (but won't animate as usual) and doesn't proceed to actual charging animation.
"I am sure this was due to battery problem, I tried to install it with 5% battery (but charging on a pc). I think it didn't charge correctly until it ran out."
I tried everything that might help myself
- holding power button for few minute and plugging the charger after a couple of seconds..
- Using Samsung Kies
- Odin
So how do I fix this problem??
please help me.
none works. hopefully someone here is willing to help me out, thanks in advance
You should never use KIES if you installed a custom ROM or a custom recovery - it's likely to fail and giving "black screen of death"
