[Q] Unlock bootloader [ST21i]

Hi guys,
I am using sony xperia tipo ST21i that is rooted. And I am planning to unlock my bootloader to install cm 10 from fxp. I want a piece of clarification. Does unlocking bootloader revoke the root access? In other words, does it unroot my phone? Or the root access stays?

Unlocking bootloader will not unroot ur mobile.Before unlocking bootloader make a back up of ur TA.Search in xda abt it :good:

I'm in a very similar situation: I have rooted my mother's ST21i but bootloader is locked (and pressing *#*#SERVICE#*#* it says it's not unlockable).
Was you able to unlock bootloader? How?

Hey guys i just recently got my Xperia m2 and i wanted to unlock my bootloader but i cannot do it
It says the bootloader cannot be unlocked officially

Hi,
I've been testing various methods on how to root my device and none have worked for me.
I've also read that in some devices it is possible to be root without unlocking the bootloader.
My question is: Is the Xperia C3 can do the same? or in some special way?
I have this device about 3 months ago and want to be root, I'm bored of the limitations of Sony.
Besides as my device and I have permanence can not apply SimLock code later to make the procedure of unlocking Bootloader.
I wish someone please make a method because I'm desperate.

Is there any possibility to root a Xperia C3 D2533 locked bootloader?
I've been searching for this during several months (actually one month after its release date) ,but I've only found the unlocked method.
I've not found a method to install a costum recovery either. :crying:
I'm bored of searching, that's why I decided to ask for help now.

Right now your only option is to ask your network carrier to unlock it for you, though that will likely not happen.
