Hi guys, how are you? First of all, I am Brazilian and I am typing this the translator, so it may be a little difficult to understand this but I will try to explain my problem as clear as possible.
Come on:
Recently, I bought a Galaxy S6 model G920X Live Demo Unit written not for sale. But the curious thing is that, first, I did not notice that it was indeed a Live Demo Unit, and second: it was working normal network! He was in version 5.1.1 of the Brazilian rom G920I and could not upgrade over the air, because of the divergence between the device type and model of rom. Then I had the (stupid) brilliant idea to update it via Smart Switch to the latest version 6.0.1. The installation was successful, kept my normal files, but the network crashed. The device is with an IMEI (I can not say that it is because Live Demo do not record the device IMEI) and he recognizes my SIMCARD, including my number, but is "Just Call Emergency". I tried many tutorials, videos on Youtube, including various tutorials found right here at XDA, but tutorials that teach you to take the Live Demo version and make the device usable, always making it clear that the chip will not work. I hate myself for doing this sh * t, cause I had a device running normally and all wanted to update it. I have not tried anything about STOCK ROM still up because I'm afraid of making things worse and you can not install a standard version without Live Demo, and was wondering if anyone here has passed or know something about it, because I do not know what to do.

Hi all,
I own this phone since march and I'm now curious to know if anyone knows whether there's any ROM update (English or Spanish) for this Chinese phone. I found ROM's for the older W72 model but, even if both phones look exactly the same, I'd never risk without knowing.
If no ROM is available, are there any newer versions of the apps by HiSilicon (manufacturer of the HiSilicon K3 processor the phone uses)? The gravity sensor is far from perfect and I'd also like to know if there's any new version of the camera app, specially one where the user is able to turn off the annoying (and too loud) shutter sound. Here, on this same forum, I found a cab ripped from another HiSilicon K3 based phone, but it doesn't work, unless I rotate my screen. Looks like that camera app is expecting the phone to work in 240x320, and not in 320x240, as this phone does. Also, that camera app had fewer options and looked older than the one I got on the phone.
Thanks in advance.
P.S.: does anyone know of a hardware button combo (not the software option under start/settings) to hard reset this phone? I hope I never have to use it, but you never know.
Did you find any answers? I recently bought this phone. It says in the advert 'Dual Interface'. What does that mean?

1. Download the manufacturer ROM Image file of the W73 .
2.Decompress , copy the the image file to the root folder of the TF card , and rename it to K3IMG.img .
3.Press the keys (Vol+ Vol- and Power) at the same time to start the phone, than it will tell you to flash the ROM as a guide.
NOTE : The power of the battery must be full. If you have any question ,please email to me : [email protected]

I have a W73 that needs restoring. It hangs at the Windows Logo while booting. However, I do not know where to find a ROM for this Dual SIM phone.
Is there anyone who has or know where I can find one?
This is an old thread but I've found myself with a similar device. From what I've seen the phone was found on http://solonomi.com/rom/w72/ but the site is currently down. The ROM was http://www.solonomi.com/rom/w72/W72-english.rar but checks online (Google) don't show this anywhere. Does anyone have a dump of this that they'd be willing to re-up? TIA.
*EDIT*
If I end up finding it I'll post but please bear in mind it's not the "Symphony" which keeps turning up in some searches. It's the MFU W72 as seen in another thread -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1474936
Also found some info on this here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=880524
Phone looks exactly like so -> http://www.simdualphones.com/2015/07/mfu-w72-phone-windows-mobile-dual-sim.html
*EDIT*
Found this other company called Yeeway Tech. If all else fails I'll try to find some way to contact them (looked - no email) and see if anything can turn up there.

Hello People!
I am originally from Denmark but I live and work in China and this is where I bought my Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1. Now, ofcourse I didn't remember the whole google vs China government issue so now I am missing android market and general google apps. I installed android market using this guide from Technic Pages.
Also, since it is with Chinese firmware I get all kinds of stuff from their search engine Baidu and it wan'ts me to use Renren (Chinese facebook) instead of the real facebook in SocialHub.
I can see that I can download ROM's for other regions and I am wondering if it is possible to flash my tab so that it is running european or US firmware instead of Chinese?
If so, is there a way to back-up the current firmware so that in case it goes south, that I can go back to the Chinese stuff. I mean, it works, but I would rather have everything that I want.
And if this is possible, can someone point me in the direction of how it is done
- Thanks!
I have the very same problem and would appreciate your help as well.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
In my opinion Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 could work well, wait to solve this problem.
Well, i got this MP5, to which i would love to install and play other games, (besides the original one):
CPU: Action Chip ATJ2259C (zd92kbb cbc)
Board ID: MP680A/B ver1.0
Flash: Powerflash asu1ga30ht-g25ca
RAM: etrontech em639165ts-6g
LCD: FPC4304006 (4.3-inch display screen )
CAM: RA357DG
Firmware: int_us225a_121203a
VID & PID: VID_10D6&PID_1101
You can watch a video of it here:
w.w.w.youtube.com/watch?v=q7h_x5kPl6Q
My goal is to be able to run/play some additional games, besides that one which comes with this chinese MP5 player. All games placed in the SD card, do not work at all.
Notes:
The device is working and it comes with a game called "Auto X.gba", which was made by JungleTac.
Besides that game and after placing other .gba games in the SD card, they aren't being recognized...nothing happens when i execute them.
Do note that i've tried other kind of platform games like .nes and the same thing happens...meaning, nothing.
Anyway, figuring out a compatible and flashable firmware for this device would be a huge step forward (i've got the feeling that this firmware is locked, hence no other games work with it).
So, can ANYONE help me out with this?
Thank you for your help
Same problem
Got the same problem! I tried to install games in differrent folders but it still doesn't work. Searched everywhere on the web but haven't found any answer... If you solve the problem please post the solution here.
Nobody else have any idea?
i have the same problem too
Up
same gadget, same problem here,
I've found many reseller of similar gadget, but nothing about firmware download/update.
Here http://mm-mpxteam.net/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=57 there seem to be some information about the CPU / firmware tool... but nothing that seem to be really easy to use.
+1 with the same issue
As luis0leal said: could we change the firmware of this device?
Hacking the firmware is also a option.
I'll accept any idea since the original firmware is terrible and update are nowhere to be found.
There are some china PSP knockoffs with a very similar firmware, if you want I can post some links.
If no one is willing to try and make something out of this firmware or a potential replacement one, at least, share the knowlegde and steps necessary to make/edit a new/existent firmware. Thank You.
Another semi-relevant information: there's a MP3 open-source custom firmware RockBox (which unfortunately doesn't support this nameless device), but the solution for our issue could be something like this, please google about this.
@SevenBeard I've tried many ways to get gba games running but none seems to work.
Also the PSP knockoff process to add the games doesn't work.
The wifi only model of this tablet running 4.1.2 has screen mirroring capability. However AT&T in their "infinite wisdom" decided to leave it out. I am looking for hopefully just a quick and dirty hack to enable it. Here are possible solutions in order of what I would like. I will accept any answer that get the feature, but I would like to not have to put some completely different custom ROM on it as it is for my dad and he is used to the interface as is. Thanks all for reading.
1. The stuff is all there and they just disabled it (maybe just edit a file after rooting the device)
2. They left out some files to offer screen mirroring (just copy some files over after rooting device)
3. Putting a custom ROM on (as long as I can get play store and all other normal functions)
I was thinking, does anyone have the stock firmware for the wifi only version of this? I was going to get that and get the firmware for this AT&T one and see what files the wifi version has that the AT&T one is missing. I tried searching online but it is old and all the links I find aren't there. The only model I can find is the 5113 which seems like a foreign version because all of the firmwares are from some other bloody country. I need the US version since the 1497 has the US version. Please help
I have been sim unlocked (legally due to military matters) and Bootloader unlocked. I've flashed various A10 and A11 ROMs & recoveries. Even MSM backed to stock a few times to start clean. I was running my favorite ROM (Derpfrst A11) with included installer EVERYTHING was PERFECT. When the new "Android 12" ROMS came out I wanted to try one so I tried one made by a developer I like, trust, & respect because of his sheer skill at putting together a ROM. His methods are the best, hands down. Anyway.... When my phone rebooted & everything ran perfect except for 1 major bug - no service\data. Which equals no calls no text, Wi-Fi works perfectly but no matter what I try I can't get service restored. So I went back to my trusty Derp.... Everything works perfectly except the service bug has persisted. I'm pretty knowledgeable about ROMs & Android in general due to me being a "retired developer" & ROM builder myself who was lucky enough to learn the basics of Android OS on an academic level & then was taught how to build ROMs & apps by two of the biggest names around at that time & a few new ones to stay up to speed on what's new.... I say all this to let you know & possibly help others who are having the same problems that I have thoroughly researched & tried everything I know, and won't think I'm not asking without research and that I'm not a complete buffoon or newb. I'm not perfect and I know that there's always other people who know know more so my next step is to hope someone reading this knows what's going on & is willing to help.
There is only one new variable here, the PC I'm using is new. All software, drivers & tools are set up perfectly. There is an USB A port on the PC & only two USB with no hubs. I've tried each of them with several different quality & new OEM Cable.
My thoughts are that the PC is 64-Bit which by default (Windows 10 Home edition) means that it checks signatures of apps before they can be used or installed.
I'm going to try MSM again after disabling this signature setting problem.
If anyone is interested I can try to help you if you're having the same problems & maybe someone want's to work on this together as a project, and I'll update the results here.
Sorry for the lengthy post!

Hey Man I am also experiencing "No Sim Card Installed" on my TMOBILE OnePlus 8 after using all MSMTool versions. Can you help me fix it?
