As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.
Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.
Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experimental features from Avatar.
We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

A 4x3 weebo widget can be added in homescreen. It displays current location and recent actions taken by weebo. This list is updated whenever there is location change or any actions are performed by weebo.

Removed cell-Id display from recent events logs. Remove cell-Id entries from recent events list shown in weebo.
Changed location tracking time options from locations page. Put a "recommanded" text for 4 hours option and removed "5 minutes" tracking time.

tried flashing with no gapps worked much better updater did not pull up gapps with none flashed so used the 20121011 gapps much better boot up will play with it some more and see how it goes.
Gonna wait for some more comments before I flash this good looking rom.

Flashed the rom, runs like CM10. themes are cool but very few of them and very low quality icons and such. Cool rom for themeing but I am more about clean HD and smooth. Kudos to the devs tho. I am back on clean rom lite.

You can get the same theming capability with Bazooka launcher. However it will be restricted to only launcher app and lockscreen. Many users are not comfortable to flash ROM's. So this solution would work for them.
However if you flash this ROM, you will get theming capability across the phone with new additional features. Try it once and i am sure you will not be disappointed.

I didn't get it past boot animation. It started up but frozen on he same screen. I probably got a bad flash so I will try again.
And I am on stock modem. Stock everything.

I have flashed several times, only way I could get it to boot was with the nexus modem. Wouldn't boot with fc09 modem, but didn't have data or voice with nexus modem.
This is all I get on stock fc09 modem.

I just deleted the bootanimation using twrp I'm running fc09 booted right up after.
Edit Roms been running great all day.

How can I delete the bootanimation from my phone? I don't use twrp and I can't access the zip and delete it there from Root Explorer.

As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.
Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.
Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experimental features from Avatar.

Issues:
When lockscreen is set to slide and if the phone goes to landscape mode, the graphics are distorted and sometimes phone cannot be unlocked. We are working on the FIX.
Work around
1. If the issue occurs, pull down the statusbar, go to settings and you will have access to you phone.
2. Don't set lockscreen to slide and instead choose any other security mechanism.
3. Disable phone rotation.

Yes i do that. It looks good brother. I cant make a new thread without try it my self. For me no fc. Play store shows me an update for the launcher but it says its not compatible with your device? I uninstall it and make after then a new install the launcher from playstore voila.
I think its important to write in your opening thread that the developer function is hidden. The new CM user doesnt know that Go into Settings / About Phone and tap "Build number" 7 times

The launcher that comes with the ROM and launcher on play store is on the same code base. There is no need to update it. We will fix the compatibility issue in next release.

This rom is great. I've had it for around a day, it is amazing. Battery life is significantly better than other AOSP roms (no idea why). Please don't stop building.

Glad you liked the ROM. There will be updates every two weeks. We have put lot of fixes for battery and do a strict QA test before publishing the ROM.

For next update you can expect a much polished and feature rich ROM.

Go to About Device and then hit Build Number 7 times. This will activate Dev options.

As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.
Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.
Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experiemental features from Avatar.
We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

Only rooted a few days ago and this is the CWM that came with the tools - all other ROMs have flashed Ok.

try updating ur cwm.. http://clockworkmod.com/rommanager ..this made my problem solve once..
updated to latest cwm touch recovery and flashed ok. thanks all

The Avatar Team is proud to present the first beta release of weebo app. It is a Tasker like application which can automate tasks for your phone.
The application comes with pre-defined set of 20 common rules but you can add your own rules in sdcard (/mnt/sdcard/weebo) and it will be automatically picked up by the application. To activate a rule, click on the corresponding rule (rule will get highlighted)
The rules are simple XML files and you can find more info here.

sounds good!!! loved the miui theming system when i had it back on my old i9000, itching to flash!
Using for around 2 weeks, so far so good! :good:
Just that a few issues to note, stock camera app crashes after taking pictures with flash or on auto flash.
Using Font Installer to change font will sometimes cause boot loop, might happen if you flash a particular font.
Issit possible do a Center Clock Mod on this ROM?
I have been testing on a lot of MOD just to get center clock on this rom and I cant find any!

As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.
Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.
Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experimental features from Avatar.
We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

A 4x3 weebo widget can be added in homescreen. It displays current location and recent actions taken by weebo. This list is updated whenever there is location change or any actions are performed by weebo.

Removed cell-Id display from recent events logs. Remove cell-Id entries from recent events list shown in weebo.

I only got a max. download speed of ~150kb/s
I got around 600 Kb/S when i downloaded it in the afternoon and ROM downloaded in just 10 Min..

Hey buddy, its looking very nice rom. Last night flashed it & seems great ROM & best part of it is Themes. MIUI themes looking perfect with this ROM.
BTW any plan to upgrade with latest update of CM10.1 & SO on..??

The ROM will get updates every week on Friday. The latest version of AvatarROM has CM changes upto Mar 22nd.
Going forward we plan to merge changes everyday and have nightly builds.
Great looking ROM but a lot buggy for me.
