Why is there no option for usb reverse tether on android or cm phones?
This seems like it should be easy to do, but there's no method of getting an internet connection from your pc to your phone. It either involves command line work on a rooted phone or some shady over-priced app that does something that should have been a switch button in the tethering options.
So just a simple question:
Why is there no option for usb reverse tether on android or cm phones?

Hey Everyone,
Noob question I have a couple hundred ellipsis 8 I'll be needing to deploy soon and I'm trying to find a way to plug the tablet into a computer(mac/windows) via usb to enable in the settings apps from unknown sources and turn gps to high. I'd also want apps to be moved to the device (installed) rather than me dragging them to the downloads folder and installing them one by one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as my current process is very time consuming and my googling has turned up nothing.

To all brilliant minds here, I need your assistance. I tried to spoofed my HTC Desire 700 Dual Sim phone into a Samsung Galaxy S5 using the Device Spoofer. What it does was change the prop.build on my phone's /system and after I restart my phone stuck in this unlimited black screen. my mistake was, I did not nandroid backup and use this application.
I tried to fix the problem using several forum similar problem and solutions but still not yet solved. The main thing I'm having issues is my phone cannot connect to my laptop even though I tried ADB and fastboot installation procedures and still the same problem.
This is the error:
HTC MTP Device failed to install and This device failed to start (code 10).
If I could have connect my phone I can start following procedures from forum.

What is the difference in firmware and hardware of voice calling tablet and 3g network enabled tablet?
i want to know what makes the voice calling tablet allow in voice calling other than 3g network provided tab...
i want to know the (which)hardware and software(other than 3g enabled tablet veriant) which helps the voice call version of the tablet be different one from 3g enabled tablet that will allow him to call...
For Reference :-
i have an tablet which supports 3g dongle via usb 2.o port...
i have microphone and external speaker inbuilt...
my 3g dongle is unlocked and tested it have capability of making and recieving calls...as well as sms and data..
my tablet dont have an dialer app... i downloaded new one...and installed it while opening it they said your stock app is diabled

Hi, I need make an smart phone only be able to make a phone calls to a white list, it means almost an intercom. I would like give an smart phone to the employees however they only use this phone for working purposes, calling co-workers or clients from the white list (of course they can not edit)
Is that possible in androide 4,2, 4,4 or for windows 8.1?
Somebody knows someone can help me on this?

Hi everyone.
I've gone weeks looking through the internet trying to find a solution to my problem.
Basically, the screen of my phone is cracked. The touchscreen function of the phone no longer works but the phone still lights up when charged.
I did not leave USB debugging on in the phone.
I do not have any sort of app that lets me control the phone remotely on the phone.
I can still access the recovery mode of the phone.
I tried connecting a special cable to the phone to connect it to a mouse / keyboard and both did not work.
I am just trying to recover some data and pictures on the phone.
Is there some way to turn USB debugging on so I can use something like Vysor to open the phone? Or any other way to get the data inside?
