I had an iphone 6 and dropped it in water. I decided to put down the apple juice and buy an android phone. I just got this phone on ebay and it is running marshmallow. Can I root it or do I have to downgrade to lollipop to root? I have tried searching and can't find the answer. If you could help a newb out and tell me what I need to do or point me to some helpful threads I would greatly appreciate it.

So i picked up this 10.1 '' tablet in a sale on amazon, i wanted to play hearthstone on it when i was away from my pc (as i have a problem), however the 'unique' way in which HS installs to the internal memory no matter what made me look up solutions, when doing so i figured out that i must not have a rooted device as i wasn't able to use the workarounds provided.
So then i reckon the internet could help, so far i haven't been able to find a solution and was told from multiple people (rooting is easy...just look up your model and...) problem is i cannot find any mention on the internet as to a solution for me,
Please, please, please help me i am running out of patience with this yoke, and if i could get help from your professional's i would be in your debt.
If someone has an idea please help i can provide any/all info to do with this tablet if necessary:

Hi sorry to ask such noob questions but I have just purchased my first Samsung device the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime SM-S820L Straight Talk and I am trying to figure out how to create or get a copy of a stock recovery image it is my understanding that this model is fairly new so there is not much around specific to his model of phone and I have only manged to find a handful of posts on this device, what I need to do is make a stock recovery img then root then install xposed framework so that I can change the "Rom Status" on my phone back to "official" after root changes it to "custom" so that I can still recieve the OTA lollipop update when it is sent out, but to do this I need a recovery first in case any issues arrive any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I have been researching this whole thing for days to no avail and would really like to get this done, thanks so much for your help in advance and again sorry for the noobish post.

So I've been trying to look around for some ways to root my Galaxy Note 4, and I found a forum on here for newbies on how to root my phone but I couldn't find a file that was supposed to be included in a google drive download. I'm just wondering if anyone can help me. All I need are step by step instructions. I know my way around a phone, but when it come to computer stuff I'm pretty illiterate.

I have a Samsung s7 (no edge) With C-Spire... i am trying to root it, and i messed up and its kept on looping while using oden even tho it said pass. I need the G930R7 File and would greatly appreciate help or a walk through. If anybody has suggestions tips or can give me a secure link please do so. Spread this around so others will get helped with same problem/error.
I screwed up during the oden process when jailbreaking, im not asking for help just wondering if you know if there will be any Cspire firmware that will be developed soon so i can fix my GS7 i have the SM-G930R7 and i cannot find it here or on other Android related sites!
