So I decided a few weeks ago to get off of the custom Lollipop roms and onto stock Marshmallow. My question is, are there any custom Marshmallow roms that will work on my Sprint S5 now that I took the leap over to Marshmallow? I've done some reading that most of the custom Marshmallow roms for the Sprint S5 you have to be on Lollipop firmware and do not work with Marshmallow firmware. Any help pointing me to any custom roms that will work will be much appreciated.

Pure rom is a note 5 port that needs the mm firmware. There is also a stock deodexed rooted version of the stock rom you can flash. Both of those work well. The newest version of cm13 also allows you to flash it over the mm firmware.

I originally had KitKat 4.4.2 rooted using towelroot, but I got tired of the ugly TouchWiz UI and wanted to try Lollipop. I successfully used the FlashFire method and flashed a pre-rooted Lollipop OF3 Stock ROM (DeOdexed) and I am using the OA1 Bootloader (I believe it's KitKat) which I flashed with Odin.
I would like to use Safestrap to flash the .zip required to use Xposed on Lollipop. I read that to get safestrap somewhat functioning, you have to flash a stock kernal to get it to boot into safestrap, flash your .zip, then flash another kernal to ensure that the phone actually boots after using safestrap.
I can't find a straightforward answer as to what kernals I should be using to do this for my specific phone and if it is even possible. I will list my phone's details below.
Thank you!
-AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 G900A
-Lollipop 5.0 (Pre-rooted OF3 Stock ROM)
-G900A OA1 Bootloader (KitKat bootloader?)

I know that for roms, you can install custom roms meant for S6 Edge, etc. on the S6. Does that work for firmware aswell? The only reason I want to flash the new lollipop firmware is to have the lollipop bootloader and install the new Xtrestolite.
So basically my question is can I flash the lollipop firmware for S6 Edge+ on 5.1.1 S6?
Try it out. The worst that'll happen is it'll fail and you'll just have to flash back the stock ROM

Can anyone tell me if they have ever tried to flash the Note 4 Sm-N910T 4.4.4 Kitkat Firmware firmware on to the SM-N910T3 Note4 from the new 6.0.1 Marshmallow Firmware?? The reason I'm asking is because the Sm-N910T3 Note 4 was released with the 5.1.1 Lollipop Firmware and there was no way to revert once you had the Lollipop Bootloader, Plus the Sm-N910T3 never had the Kitkat 4.4 4 firmware to begin with..... Anyone has any knowledge or thoughts would be helpful.. I know the odd are it won't work, but I know the Sm-N910G Note 4 couldn't revert back to Kitkat from Lollipop but once they got the 6.0.1 Marshmallow they could go back to 4.4.4 Kitkat... Info needed because I have the Note 4 Sm-N910T3 on 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware and I'm going to try and flash the Sm-N910T Kitkat 4.4.4 firmware sometime tomorrow unless someone has tried and fail..
Please, All replies are welcome....

So were you successful?
Long story. I have a Straighttalk Galaxy S6 (5.0.2) odexed rom.
Sadly, Straightalk doesn't have firmware updates for my phone.
I have searched EVERYWHERE on google for a custom rom that matches the model SM-S906L but no luck. The reason why I need a custom rom is so I can use Xposed.
According to the Internet, Xposed currently does not support 5.0.2 stock (odexed roms), TouchWiz roms. So thats why I was wanting a DEODEXED rom that will support my phone.
If any on knows what custom roms that work on the model SM-S906L It would be greatly appreciated if you gave me some info.
Any help would be appreciated!
