Guys when i set my phone letv 1s's network to 3g priority it automatically switches to 2g network. Please help me to force lock it on 3g.
I have also tried to dial *#*#4636#*#* when i switch it to wcdma only it doesn't happen again it switches to gsm only.
Xda members please help
Try *#*#3646633#*#* and go to network selecting. For me it's working like this and stays on 3G.

make sure you go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Network Mode > and choose wcdma / gsm auto.
otherwise blame your carrier coverage
I would try enabling mobile data to always-on first before blaming network provider.
It may consume more battery though.
My S4 One S automatically tends to switch to a 3G connection when its idle, and when i begin using it, it sends its data upload thru the 3G connection, WAITS to switch to HSDPA, and then pulls in incoming data. There is no incoming data on the 3G connection at all. Only on HSDPA.
I have googled enough, found this error on many devices, but I cant seem to find a fix.
Is there any way to completely switch to HSDPA to avoid the delay it takes to switch to HSDPA?
Or is there any way to make it receive data as well on the 3G connection?
I am using Android 4.0.4 on a Vodafone India connection in Chennai.
i believe if u disable "fast dormancy" then youll be able to switch and stay connected to HSPA... altho fast dormancy does help save battery if your carrier supports it

I recently bought a smartphone Highscreen Omega Prime Mini, and put the SIM card of the Russian operator MTS, but I can not speak normally sit on the phone and on the internet with this network simkoy.Telefon periodically loses all the time skachat ARDS network mode to another mode. Here it is: when booting the phone the ability to set the network mode HSDPA, but after 2-3 minutes of network switches to the EDGE, and the pages are loaded through the internet for very long.
Please tell me how to solve this problem?
Your network switches automatically because there are both networks available. So try switching it to "wcdma only" in settings-mobile networks-network mode.

Hi,
I 've HTC one M7, it's not dialling 111 as the same is helpline of my network operator "mobilink".
Soon after dialling it ended the call with a screen blink of emergency call.
And secondly when I on- hotspot, my mobile data disconnected. I am not able to use hotspot this way. Please help me out. My network operator says it's all wrong with my mobile set not with their system.

sorry for my English, I can not stop the network in 2G or GSM, mobile networks in the options there are only 4g / 3g / 2g, 3g / 2g, 3g only. Does anyone know how to block 2g gsm?
Try this. Go into Dialer and hit *#*#4636#*#*
Then go to Phone Information and scroll down to network type. Set it to LTE only and see if it holds the setting.
