1) While watching movies in MX Player headphones with microphone, accidental moving of headphones cable increasing or decreasing the volume or stops playback. I thought it was headphones jack problem but sometimes when I move headphones cable, native Huawei music app is launching and starts playback without my control. I think Huawei did something with headphones control.
2) After update to EMUI4.0, all weather apps I tried can't display temperature value in notification bar. Only icon.
3) After update to EMUI4.0, when I change the theme, Google Chrome and Play icons disappear. They can be found by search but you can't see them. Only using Nova Launcher I can see them again.
This was my first Chinese phone after iPhone and Nexus 5 and it will be the last I think...
Please advice how to solve that issues.

Hello,
I use a pair of true wireless Soul X-shock earphones to listen to seminars when out jogging etc using background playback. (Samsung Galaxy S7 and MX Player Pro)
The play/pause function (on the earphones) works as it should if there is less than an approx 5 minute delay between button presses...
However, when the video is pause is longer than 5 minutes I find the resume function on my earphones no longer operate and background playback of the video is completely halted.
Not only that, when resuming playback on my phone screen and then pressing the home button or lock screen the video does not play in the background as it should.
I have found the only way to remedy this is to force quit MX Player Pro directly and start it up again. That way the background playback function behaves like normal again.
The problem also happens immediately if I put my ear phones back into the charging case and take them out to use them again.
I am able to use spotify without issue taking my ear phones on and off but MX Player Pro behaves very differently.
I have also noticed the background playback for MX Player Pro on the notifications bar gets killed after about 5 minutes of no playback, requiring a full restart of the app before it can come back again.
I have already added MX Player Pro to the power saving exceptions list but the issue still happens.
Is there anyway to fix this via settings or via new update?

Thanks for your feedback. When you pause the playback manually, MX Player will no longer use the foreground service. So, the system may kill the app to reclaim the resources if it is required for some other process. Once it's killed by the system, it may not be able to receive the media button controls. So, you can't resume the playback from the headset. However, everything should work as expected when you open the app again. If you found any abnormal behaviour, kindly provide us with more info so that we can investigate it further for you.
Hi forums,
I have a Optus X Smart (rebadged Alcatel Pop 4 Plus). It runs Android 6.0.1.
When I plug into the headphone jack to play music on speakers and I play music from some apps, like the Youtube app and the supplied Onetouch Music app, the volume of bass is severely diminished. At normal volume anything below about 70-80Hz is basically inaudible. (was testing with this: <"Test your speakers" Youtube video by "Doctor Mix"> (had to remove URL since i'm not allowed to post them yet))
*However*, if I open Chrome browser and go to Youtube in the browser (as opposed to using the app), low frequency audio seems fine.
I tried toggling the "Arkamys audio effect activated" option in Sound & notification settings, and although it does have an effect on how audio sounds, it does not solve the issue.
I've seen the solution here for Android Auto (which is not what i'm using/doing anyway):
<had to remove URL to other website because I can't post links yet>
My phone doesn't present this "Headset SWS" option to me when a headset is plugged in.
Any ideas?
Was just trying a few different music players from the Play Store, the one called "AIMP" plays songs properly, without the bass issue, so that's nice at least... would still really like it if the Youtube app didn't have this problem (I pay for Youtube premium so I can listen to podcasts/commentary/etc. while i'm driving and the app is in the background with the screen off).
Hi,
I have a problème with my P20 (EMUI 9 / 9.0.0.160). to
I don't remember if I had the problem before to update EMUI 8 to EMUI 9.
When I listening music (Youtube Music, Google Music or Deezer tested) my music is constantly pausing and it's not possible to restart the sound with headphone button, I need to go to the music app in order ton play again the song.
I tried with Huawei Freebuds and Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 and it's the same problem. Sometimes I can listen severals minutes and sometines just a few seconds.
I have this issue with phone locked AND with screen on too (I can see the music player pausing itself...)
Sometimes I can hear a little crackle noise juste before and after the song is paused.
I lost my jack/usb-c adapter so I can't test with earphone.
I tried to disable special access for music player in my phone settings but without success.
Erwan
PS : Sorry for my english.
Hello,
I have Huawei Nova Plus, suddenly the media sound is very low I can barely hear it either it is the sound of a Youtube video, music player, voice notes or any media sound. This happens although the media volume is set to maximum. When I restart my phone it is back to normal behavior. Any help why this happens and how could I solve it?
Hello
I have a serious problem that's gonna drive me crazy,
When I play a song on any music player app at it statter and lag every 3 sec, same issue with recorded voices or videos from youtube also local video in my device, also video or audio on the browsers, issue is happening with speaker, wired headset or wireless one.
My phone is redmi note 11, rooted with Lsposed.
the problem is not visible right after rebooting the phone but when any song/video is played after almost 10 sec it starts lagging and stattering even the volume control bar to increase or reduce the volume become laggy at same time when the played song lags, I have checked the battery optimisation and those app aren't optimized by it.
I tried everything disabling lsposed and it's modules same issue.
Unrooting the phone no changes
I removed all the app that I installed same issue and kept the default rom apps same issue
When I boot the phone in Safe mode the issue is not there and the music is played with no issue even the volume control bar doesnt lag.
Anyone has any idea or is there an app that monitor what's happenig that will help to discover the source of the probléme
