Anyway, AC-3/DTS support is removed due to patent issues. You can use custom codec to restore the AC-3/DTS support.
For more Information about custom codecs, read here

Hey guys...I know most of us are aware or are using this superb Video Player! ..But the new update is creating some problems for me.
Whenever I open the "MX Video Player",I always get an error that the "codecs are not properly installed, uninstall the codecs and install again"...even though I have the latest MX Video Player ARMv6 VFP Codecs from the market! . I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the codecs many times but still the same case! Any one is having this issue?I'm currently using CM7.2 rc5.6 (first update) by ankdroid!
Wrong Section... Go to General for queries until Q&A is created.
Uninstall MX Video Player & Codecs.
Install MX Video Player first, followed by Codecs.

Hi,
Adobe has discontinued the support for flash player past 4.0. Where can we obtain the stable build for 4.1?
Is there a media/video player that can support flash and mp4 playback offline?
Thanks

I have cm11 4.4.4 currently installed and Mx player is my favourite video player. I take it this too high for compatibility but please update the app I really like it. Any updates on the situation will be appreciated
Are you using pro version? Try downloading non pro version and let me know.

If your custom codec has RV40 support, then it should play without any issues. Can you collect a bug report after playing a file that has issues & share here?
I have just purchased the latest mx player pro but dissapointed that it won't play EAC3 audio files. I have tried updating the codec with the instructions and aio.zip but when I select it from the download location mx player says it " can't find custom codec. Please use version 1.9.8 ARMv7 NEON codec. What am I doing wrong? Please help. VLC Player works so the file isn't corrupted.
You have to download the right version of the custom codec. If you are using the MX Player v1.9.17, then open the google drive link on the custom codec thread & download the version 1.9.8. If you have downloaded from the second link, then that's for MX Player 1.9.18.2 and newer.
@USBhost
Kindly think about adding version number to the zip file name as well. it will reduce the confusion. all your package names are same for every new version. so, user may get confused.
Working Method
Download this zip file
http://www.mediafire.com/file/8ovi2tzoti4vrc7/mx_neon.zip/file
then select it from
Settings>>Decoder>>Custom codec(at the bottom)
Select your downloaded codec from where you have downloaded the neon zip file
Great. Thx

In case you guys haven't resolved the issues. And I'm guessing this is a typo "have installed version 1.34.2 of MX PLAYER" since beta is only up to 1.25... maybe there's nightlies I don't know about.
Not play MX player how to play
