Hi!
I have created a kernel module (and insmod it at the start of the device) to control /dev/xx and only the system can access /dev/xx.
Thank to the code I have added, /dev/xx can be controlled from the Framework .
I now want to create a system service to handle this.
Which permission should be used for permissionGroup so that the service can access /dev/xx?
I have read the documentation (I am not able to post the link since I have less than 10 posts) but it doesn't help me to guess the right permission group for the system service
PS: I am working on Marshmallow

And how to get permission to use DEVDB? Should we also need to make 10 post before we can use it? Thank you advance~~ Best regards

Hi happyhadott
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Each device has its peculiarities and can be customized accordingly to which Operational System you are running on it. At XDA, each device has its Theme & App dedicated forum.
For example, Android devices commonly use a tool for customization named Xposed that you may get familiar with at the below Forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed
As so, could you please state the Manufacturer & Model of your device so we could better approach your issue guiding you to the appropriate experts?
I will be waiting for your reply within the next 2 days.
Nice regards.

There is indeed a Themes & Apps forum for your device but seems that it contains not much activity:
Infinix HOT 2 > HOT 2 Themes and Apps
