[Q] Trouble flashing CWM

I would not post unless i was absolutely stuck so here goes:
I have the AT&T One X and managed to unlock the bootloader with no problem. I want to flash CWM, root, and ultimately install the latest cyanmod.
Im stuck trying to get a functional recovery mod working. I have tried a few different methods of flashing the recovery and a few different versions as well, mostly newer ones ie recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.3.1-endeavoru and 5.8.4.0. I tried the automatic flash and i have done the commands myself. In the end my phone will not boot recovery, i just get the HTC screen that says something about development purposes only.
I could really use some help as i believe i just bricked my phone as well.
Thank you much
Endeavour is the tegra version of the One X and that's the cwm version you flashed. I have no idea what the consequences of doing that are but you may have bricked your phone. I also suggest using TWRP instead of CWM if you do get your phone working again.

The fact that you are seeing the HTC screen is promising. You definitely want to be using TWRP instead of CWM if you have the North American HTC One XL (ie. "evita", NOT "endeavor" ). I think you need to download an evita version of TWRP, boot into the bootloader (by holding volume down during boot) and then flash it using fastboot.

As he said your lucky u Can still get the white screen with a phone as fragile with flashing as this I would of done a bibit more research if I were you...but ultimately your going to hhave to use fastboot commands to get your thing back running I believe go check out many of ththe million " I bricked my phone by flashing a tegra thing " you'll see many trust me best of luck to you and once u get everything settled out don't flash cwm. Its unofficial and bad go with twrp. Great recovery but do your research with a device like this
I managed to unbrick my phone by reinstalling the stock RUU but im still stuck trying to instal CWM. What is the correct version i should be using with my AT&T One x?

Do not use CWM. Install TWRP by downloading GooManager from the market, opening it, hitting menu and choosing "install openrecovery". That will install TWRP for you.

What hboot/exact steps for flashing? S3 or S4 processor?
Whats the exact rom and version you're trying to flash?
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
Check the HBOOT version that you are using with that required. That is the biggest problem when it comes to bootloops in this phone.
Basic question - are you flashing the correct boot.img for the ROM you want.
ie for Cyanogenmod you need to flash the exact boot.img from that ROM.
Thanks for your answer.
At the moment I am running clockwork as recovery. I've tried to flash trickdroid and I used these instructions at
trickdroid.org for the international one s. But after flashing the boot.img and doing fastboot erase cache
nothing happens and I couldn't load anything anymore.
PS: My phone has a S4 processor (with 1,5GHz is this right?)

Can I reflash my originial stock rom? I have no backup.
I found an instruction at usp-forum.de/htc-one-s-root-flash-hack/87944-how-to-htc-one-s-stock-rom-wiederherstellen.html - it worked fine,
I flashed the stock_recovery.img with "fastboot flash recovery stock_recovery.img" and the I did "fastboot oem lock".
I also downloaded a installer exe with the RUU - it found my device and started to install, but it stopped sometimes and said, that
I have a wrong installer or RUU (something like signature error 132). Where and how can I find the right RUU?

[Q] Cannot update past 4.2.2 on my Nexus 4

So here's the story. I installed a new screen on my Nexus. After putting the phone back together, it got stuck on the boot logo.
Tried restoring a backup and flashing a different rom, but both things gave me a /data error in recovery. I used adb to flash a 4.4.2 factory image but that was stuck on bootscreen too.
I flashed a 4.2.2 factory image and that works absolutely fine. But when I try to update it to 4.3, or flash a custom 4.4.2 rom, it gets stuck on the boot logo.
Everytime I flash I am fully wiping my phone.
How can I fix this and update my phone?
Before all of this happened I was running a cyanogenmod build absolutely fine without any problems.
Thanks!

Hi there.
I have already tried this. I tried to flash the 4.4.2 factory image, but the phone is still stuck on the boot logo.
Is your bootloader unlocked?

You performed as followed? :
"You need to uncompress each download before use, which creates a new directory for that exact download. That directory contains a ./flash-all.sh script, which handles the various operations, installs the necessary bootloader, baseband firmware(s), and operating system"

Yes, I did exactly the same for the 4.4.2 image that I did for 4.2.2.
For some reason the 4.2.2 works fine but the 4.4.2 doesn't.
Then I must be sorry for having really no clue how to solve your issue

[Q] Weird blue boot screen after rebooting cm11

Hell I've just installed the new cm11 M7 on my HTC One S everything was ok till I wanted to perform a reboot. Now my phone is stuck on a weird blue boot screen.
If i flash again the boot.img it will boot until the next reboot...
My One S is S-ON HBOOT 2.15 with TWRP 2.7.1.0.
I put a (bad) picture of the screen
Thank you for helping me

Did you do a full wipe? You cannot go from nightly to Milestone without a full wipe AFAIK.
Are you S-OFF? If not, did you flash the boot.img?
I did a full wipe and then flashed the boot.img with fastboot boot boot.img as I am S-ON and at the first boot it worked fine but if I reboot my device I got the blue screen which is I presume a corrupted boot animation.
That's a little annoying cause if I want to reboot my phone I need a computer to flash again the boot.img
That is so weird. Can you try another ROM? I am having a lot of success with CandyKat and Insanity kernel.
I'm S-ON so i can't change my kernel right?
And i don't want to S-OFF it cause I don't want to brick it...
Yes, you are right. You can try CandyKat though. Install the same way as with CM11.
Changing ROM will not solve my issue with CM11 . Maybe I'll give it a try someday if there is no solution at all. But thank you for trying to help me.

Yes you are right. I was running CM11 - nightlies but after CandyKat - it would be difficult to go back. Hopefully you can get CM11 to run correctly.

TWRP 3.0.2.0 issues

I don't know if it's just not booting into recovery or it's not flashing correctly, but I can't get this to work. I flashed it both in TWRP and in bootloader, and it won't boot into TWRP. Keeps going right to the OS. This sucks because I no longer have a working recovery. I don't get it. This one is on Marshmallow, my other one on KitKat took it and boots into it.
