is there any inbuilt feature in DU rom to disable apps from starting up at boot. Xposed boot manager is an excellent app to do this but couldn't find a similar one for DU.
any alternative app suggestions will be helpful

You can still use this xposed module on DU.
You may want to try SDMaid, autostarts, MyAndroidTools...

I use Xposed v85 & DU stable 10.3 without any issue. You may have a faulty module.

You can try MIUI v3.22 but it is based on Android 4.0.4.

Hi, I find PAC-Rom (v23) to be the most stable for me with Xposed (Xprivacy) to restrict permissions.
Does MIUI have an integrated permissions manager?
Is Xprivacy intagrated in PAC-Rom?

No, installed separately via the Xposed Framework.

Yes, it has antivirus, permission manager, network manager... It also has the HTC drivers for camera. Really a lot of integrated features. Cons are some missing translations but I was very satisfied from the ROM. The latest versions of MIUI for saga get too much memory and I have experienced a lag sometimes.
How hard is it to install Xprivacy? Could I install it on a rooted stockrom as well?
I have rooted my device mi4i.and tried to flash the xposedframework on my device.
"Installed but not activated" this is the error showing.
I tried flashing cm 12.1 on mi4i also.
Is there any way to install xposed framework on mi4i?

There is somewhere a special thread for the Mi4i about what and how to install xposed.
You need some special files for that.
i could not find it at the moment, but just do a search for xposed.
It may be in the General section and not in the Mi4i section, but i am not sure about that.
Just do a search.

its not working for me. followed all the steps. anything extra that u did to get it working?
used the xposed sdk21 arm64 flashed successfully with twrp. then installed the alpha 3.0 but in the framework it says it "framework is not active". please help?

what rom ?
use sdk22 arm64 and as far as i knew xposed not working on miui based rom (stabel nor dev)
flash to cm based rom work without problem:good:

Does his mean that the stock from doesn't support closed. And cm12.1 must be flashed beforehand
I'm not sure, how is it with stock (MIUI) ROM. You need to try.
I tried With stock rom but didn't get installed.
I flashed with cm12.1 still closed not working. Can you please explain how you got it installed
All info is here. For CM ROM (based on Android 5.1), install xposed-v79-sdk22-arm64.zip via TWRP and then XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk.
MIUI is based on Android 5.0 so you will need sdk21.
MIUI 7.1, flaahed sdk21.arm64 then installed xposedinst 3.0-alpha. But installer showing that framework is installed but not active, needs reboot. Rebooted but not active yet...

I am using Resurrection Remix 5.8.5 (Android 7.1.2) on my Honor 5C (Unlocked Bootloader, Custom Recovery, Rooted with Magisk)
I am using Xposed modules like Greenify, Fake Wifi, Instant Face Unlock and a few others.
But I want to use Substratum too, to have more customization.
It seems like no one asked the question here, so here it is: Can xposed and Substratum work on the same ROM ? Or will it cause bugs, Bootloops or others problems ? Resurrection Remix is a ROM that work with Substratum, but I don't know with Xposed...
Maybe I'm asking a dumb question, but these apps are both modifying system...
TL;DR: I want to know if Substratum and Xposed can work together in Android N.

Same question from me, Im on an S7 with superman rom v2.90 and Im getting a "it seems that you are on a unsupported samsung device, but firebase could not be verfied" error message.
So, I tested and i had no bug at all. I have installed SwiftBlack theme (paid) and a navbar theme, and everything work fine: the navbar and the theme are applied without problem. Apparently Xposed and Substratum can work together with these theme and the modules I listed in my first post.

Well, i don't know if Substratum will work on this rom... I'm using Resurrection Remix, and it's a ROM supported by Substratum, but i don't know how this will work for you... Maybe you should do a backup and try by yourself. If your ROM is based on Samsung ROM or on LineageOS, that may work... If it work, just don't forget to disable all themes before installing an update, or you may have bootloops.

This ROM is samsung based.
So I got Sungstratum installed, along with Substratum and a test theme - no joy. Loading up Substratum app gives me the same annoying error " it seems that you are on supported samsung device, but firebase could not be verified."

Oh, sorry about that. I don't think I can help you, i'm new to Substratum and i don'tuse Samsung ROMs... Maybe you should create a new thread to ask others users what to do.
Substratum and xposed work fine in 4 ROMs I've tried out...

I made 2 Section because I don't use custom rom. so specified magisk and edxposed may cause some problem with custom rom so if anyone confirms that these are working on their roms then only i will put those modules name on the list

Where are the Install instructions?
Just download file and flash it in magisk !
Then reboot your phone and open dolby app to setup.

Yup, same thing for me on stock.
Well after flashing and reflashing Dolby digital 7.2 does work on rooted P4 XL stock rom
what about DP4? Are there any working modules for this one? I was able to successfully root but wouldnt boot after adding modules and I'm not sure which ones caused this but am afraid to try again.
