Root finally done!
This device is actually umi emax mini and selling in India with the name of Swipe Elite Plus.
Steps : -
1. Download iRoot and install the daemon through it by enabling usb debugging. It will say that root failed but no problem. we just need drivers.
2. Download this tool http://www.mediafire.com/download/7ay7ny20kpy3iik/emax_mini_twrp_driver_install.exe
3. Connect your phone with usb cable and with debugging enabled.
4. Install drivers by pressing 1 in the tool.
5. Now select "Flash twrp and reboot".
6. Device will reboot in TWRP .*
7. Flash super su (2.46+ version) using twrp.
8. Reboot and enjoy.

Well, its a matter of hit and try..!! You could try it and see if it works. I don't think that the rooting script is chipset specific. But it maybe that as well. We don't get Qmobile here in India, so don't know the specifics. It might work or it might fail. At most the phone won't and you will be stuck on bootscreen. You can get that fixed at the service centre if its in warranty (don't tell them you tried rooting.)

I should work. I have tested this on many more devices ( I will add of those in a while though) You should try it again. And also it dosen't matter where you live.
it says device not found
well sir i gave it another try. all was going on well. in the end it said "error : device not found "
and not rooted.
anyway thanks for quick reply sir
regards
Do one thing and see if su is there. If it is then remove it along with root (there is and option in settings of su) and then re-root it. While in the the process of rooting, don't touch anything on your phone or pc. And I hope this time you are able to root it!
Also confirm if it works and what device you used.
Regards
Ishan

First check with root checker and ota voodoo to see if there is any tick in the boxes. If not try to install SU and see it it works out.
If not then,
1. Download busybox https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox (Only the app and not busybox)
2. Root with motochopper
3. If exploit dosen't show any error, INSTALL busybox from the app and then check SU
I tested both the exploits on Xperia SP. Gave me an error in the explot a few times but worked out though. It also gave me an error that it is not rooted even after i got no error in the exploit. Just had to install busybox and voila it worked

Actually, it's just the drivers which should be installed. In Win7, they are automatically installed but they take some time as they are downloaded and installed. So that's why the rooting is stuck at that point as the drivers are still being installed in the background.

u can install cwm via mtk droid tools...its easy
follow these steps
Things to necessary---
*Mtk droid tool
*Rooted phone
*usb driver must be installed
*enable usb debbuging
STEPS:-
* Connect your switched on rooted mtk device to your computer and open MTKDroid tool, the tool will recognise your device and connect to it, if the colour indicator in the bottom left corner is green, you already have root shell, and can go on to the next step, if it is yellow, click on the root button at the bottom, and wait for the progress. When the indicator turns to green you have root shell which is necessary for this operation.
* Next click on the tab 'root, backup, recovery' and select 'to use boot from phone' then click on 'recovery and boot' and shortly after a dialogue box will appear asking if you want to 'make cwm recovery automatically' click yes.

2. Select language (english of course ahh is up to you)
3. Choose Install from storage and select update.zip
4. Wait the process (below 1 minute) and when it done just reboot system
5. Finishing updating and then check in your app drawer SuperSu should appear
6. Update SuperSU binary if needed
7. Done
will this work with the F1f version of the phone?

There are instructions in a guide in this very section of this forum.
Works like a charm. Having recently purchased the phone I didn't want to root it. But after I realized that Oppo released the May firmware (around 1.3 GB) on their website. Everything works as it should. I'm hoping for an official forum with more stuff.
A question, what theme are you using with the default launcher?

Flashfire is a tool that can flash zip / backup ur phone without unlocking bootloader or install custom recovery.. So u can install xposed.zip.. But there is no one try it for x9009 oppo f1 plus.. Make sure u check ur hardware info first so u download the right thing for ur phone if arm64 u must download for arm64.. Do it on ur own risk..
Just tried, its not working with Flashfire

There was a link for TWRP in the YouTube video. Anyone tried? If you want to try it's in Chinese but TWRP has a translate option.
I am now able to get OTA after 5th factory reset.

Sure there are other way's.
Do you have already root rights?
Which ROM is installed?
If you can manage to get root rights with a one click root app for example,
you can flash TWRP directly with the TWRP app or with the terminal.

It depends on which ROM your're using.
But you could try to use KingoRoot apk for example.
