I've read through some various discussions, but there's an item on EBay that appears to be an OEM Huawei charger for the 6P.
/itm/OEM-Original-3A-Type-C-Quick-Travel-Wall-Charger-Dual-Type-C-Cable-For-Nexus-6P-/231963618632?var=&hash=item36021bed48:m:m9twewSegCzacD-PWhtCgtQ[/url] (Ebay is in front of the address - it won't let me post)
I'm considering this as an alternative to the one in the google store (I want one with a brick and cable, not attached - I tend to break those.) Has anyone tried this particular item and can verify that it's actually the OEM charger? I'm mildly concerned about frying my phone after reading some of the horror stories out there. Thanks!
Any update on this? Curious to know how it performs if you bought one.

Hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to enable USB charging on the S01SH and/or the WS003SH. I read through quite a number of posts regarding this functionality on various HTC devices but my case seems to be different.
Inside HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\Battery and HKLM\Drivers\Usbfn there is no such entry "EnableUsbCharging". I tried adding this to both folders as DWORD, restarted... and nothing happened.
The reason I am asking is I ordered a "Netzladegerät Qtek 8200 8600 / Sharp S01SH/ EM-ONE" from Ebay but it does not charge the device. Before I return the item I wanted to make sure I have done everything possible to get it to work.
Warning
OK, no one seems to know anything about this, so after some research I would like to warn anyone using a Sharp device against a couple of fake items being sold on Ebay and advertised as fit for the EM ONE (S01SH).
1. Netzladegerät Qtek 8200 8600 / Sharp S01SH/ EM-ONE by seller WORLD-2-POWER. The AC to miniUSB charger they are selling might be working for the Qtek, but Sharp devices simply cannot be charged via the miniUSB port. Also, the charger they are selling doesn't even have a "made in..." label, nor a model number or any proof of QC, so beware.
2. Fit Sharp PV-BL31, EM-One S01SH battery (1600 mAh) by seller
grade_a_battery. The battery they are selling is a very different shape and size than fits the EM ONE. I am guessing this is a battery for the Sidekick.
Hope this helps unaware buyers like me - saves you time and money.
Looking for a replacement for the OEM charger. I looked on amazon but the reviews are mixed...some say its a knockoff that ruins the phone while others say its genuine and works 100%....can anyone back up this?

Any microUSB charger should be good. I use charger from my HP touchpad.
Read this if you want to know why

I had the same problem before and went for one off the amazon market place from a seller Crazy Bee. Sorry i cant post links as I'm not at 10 posts yet but it is a genuine charger if that helps.
Well I want one just like the original with 3.0 USB and fast charge. The amazon reviews seem to say they are original while others say they are not...So wondering if anyone got one that is just like original?
This is the one i ordered and believe to be genuine from the quality, one thing i don't understand is i couldn't find a charger exactly the same as my original with the usb outlet coming from the bottom of the charger. It seems samsung make several "travel chargers" which all have the usb coming from the top or side:

This One

SONEic - USB Type-C AMAZON
I know Amazon is safer since they have banned all uncertified type C cables....
Basically every charger is made in China and since Huawei is a chinese company and these ebay sellers are from China, it wouldn't surprise me that these chargers on eBay are legit although in my experience I would advise caution . As for the charger you have linked on Amazon, I haven't tried that one but I bought this one and haven't had any issues so far.

To be brutally honest with you, and this may seem a bit elitist and privileged to some, but I wouldn't trust my $600 phone with anything but an original charger or one bought directly from Google, and not Huawei, not ebay or amazon, and this goes for both chargers and cables.

Considering Google only makes 2 mediocre chargers (dual port 22W, and tethered 15W) I would rather get a 3rd party one. I have the Google dual port type C charger, but I also have ones from Choetech and Tronsmart that all work just as well as my OEM charger. I rarely use my OEM, in fact it's been in my drawer of chargers for a while now because other companies made better more versatile chargers. OEM chargers don't always use the best circuitry to control voltages, current etc, but with 3rd party chargers they have incentive to make better charges due to the intense competition. I witnesses this with my HTC 10 stock charger and Samsung one from my S7 Edge; OEM isn't always the best to say the least.
I've been very happy with the BlitzWolf charger

The thing is google store isnt available in my country and there is no work around, although I have a us shipping address :/
I'm using a Choetech charging station that's reasonably priced (slightly higher than what your looking at) and I've got to say it charges in very similar times to the original OEM charger, it also has the added benefit of being able to charge my smart watch and tablet at the same time too. Perfect for people who don't want chargers plugged in all over the place.

Howdy!!
I am obsessed with USB chargers that have all of the following qualities:
Reputable vendor (preferably OEM)
Attached cord
High amperage
Long cord (1.5m-2m)
In the past, I did much research and found one adapter that I became obsessed with this thought, and did a lot of research. After buying dozens of chargers, I found this. So I bought about 10x of them, gave as gifts, and placed them everywhere, I even have a spare one still in the package. Now that I have this type-C phone, I need it's successor. I prefer the attached cable because when I move around at night, I don't want the cable to come out. I also don't want someone to steal the cable off of my charger.
This is what I found, but it's looks cheap, and the cord is too short. If I don't find anything better, I'll have to go for it.
as far as attached cables go, I think the one Google sells is your only reputable option

I didn't realize that this had the attached cord. At $25 + shipping it's a bit steep, but I might go for it. Thank you.

This looks great! I've put it on my wishlist but it's currently out of stock. Might have to go with the Google charger.
As my title said, WHERE? Background story: My charger's broken, and I want to buy a new one. I'm charging my phone with laptop now. Here's the result I got after few hours of searching online: none on Amazon, Bestbuy, Walmart, Target, Sony US official website...not original or authentic as they announced on ebay. Asked Sony's customer service, she answered: "Have you checked out our official partners' website, like Amazon or Bestbuy..." Partners? I don't think so, what kind of partner say "sorry, we couldn't find that page"? So...can anyone tell me where to find a sony charger? Many Thanks.
eBay, amazon...
emmmmm....I don't know what to say....

Doubt you'll find an official OEM Don't charger.
Go aftermarket or buy another manufacturer's charger. As long as it's a certified USB-C charger, then you'd be fine.
I see...thanks.

This is actually super annoying, it made sense when I was buying Sony phones that were not sold in the US, but now that the phones are sold here I would think that I should be able to find an official OEM charger to buy. The only place I have found that I could potentially purchase an OEM cable or any other OEM accessory is the UK Amazon site, no US stores or sites seem to have them.
For those repeatedly saying to just buy an aftermarket charger, that doesn't work if you want to use the cable to connect to a PC to transfer files or flash the phone.
Exactly! You get me! I also found them on Amazons that's outside US, like UK, India...Although I've already bought Aukey charger from Amazon after last two day's hard research on Sony's charger. Sad, just sad. It's not that other charger's no good, it's just realizing that I have no free option makes me sad. And US version's fingerprint sensor is disabled, WTH? We'll have to flash a different firmware to unlock it. Seems like they tried very hard to prevent us from using Sony phone.

Ya it's quite frustrating, but you can't really blame Sony since the phones don't sell very well in the US so they kind of ignore us. If shipping isn't too bad, I will probably end up buying a cable or two from the Amazon UK site.
As far as fingerprint, I ended up having to follow the thread here that flashes items from the US & CE1 firmwares so that I could have group messaging and fingerprint reader. The only annoying thing about this is that you don't get OTA updates so you need to download both firmwares and flash what you want every time you want the update. A couple annoying things about this that I have run into; backup to the micro SD takes forever and doesn't include you fingerprint details, so I have to re-add my fingerprint every time, restoring also takes forever (like restoring your home/icon setup), you have to re-login to all the apps you were using.
Problem of the century!
Just buy any USB charger.

google UCB30 cable, then you can use USB debugging on your xzp
I agree that this is ridiculous. If you sell phones and other accessories in the US then make the charger available. I had a long discussion with Xperia Customer Care months ago and came up empty. They were linking me to eBay sellers that offer refurbished junk. It's simply another reason why Sony fails to establish a strong mobile presence in the US even though they have outstanding devices.
